It has been several years since my last visit. Located in a prime spot in Asakusa, Fruit Parlor Goto continues to offer delicious treats at the same unchanged prices. The warm and elegant customer service, as well as the lovely mother figure, remain the same as before. Today's fruit parfait costs 1,000 yen. I visited on a Sunday after 12 p.m. and had to wait for about an hour. Since I don't come here often, I decided to go for a luxurious fall-colored parfait but saved it for later as I had another place to visit afterwards. The parfait consisted of apple, banana, pineapple, grapefruit, orange, Nagano purple, and kiwi, but I requested the apple and banana, opting for figs and pineapple instead. Everything was fresh and rich! The portions were just right, not too big. They asked if I was okay with the banana in the ice cream, and I said yes, and it actually tasted better than the vanilla! The apple sauce was also very delicious. The Fruit Sandwich costs 1,200 yen and it was incredibly filling! The fruit and whipped cream were plentiful. Unlike the moist fruit sandwich I usually have from Mizunshin, the Pelican's bread had less moisture and a rich flavor. I was curious about the difference between the parfait and the sundae, so I asked the mother, who explained that the sundae has vanilla ice cream, while the parfait has vanilla ice cream and fruit ice cream. Today, my partner and I went to the fruit parlor Gotou. When we arrived, there were 3 groups ahead of us waiting. After signing in, we were able to enter after about a 10-minute wait. When we sat down at our table, I mentioned that my eyesight was poor and asked for help reading the menu. Every item on the menu looked enticing, but after much deliberation, I chose the daily fruit parfait with a variety of fruits, while my partner chose the parfait made with the legendary Hidaka pears. After a long day of walking, we were eager to rest our tired feet and waited eagerly for our parfaits. When they arrived, the server explained the composition of each parfait. Mine consisted of 7 different fruits mixed with homemade fruit ice cream, rich milk-flavored whipped cream, and fig compote. Every fruit was delicious, but the homemade fruit ice cream was exceptional. I also regretted not choosing the fig parfait, as the fig compote at the bottom was delightfully flavorful. My partner's pear parfait was outstanding, with the Hidaka pear being incredibly sweet and juicy, the best pear we've ever had. There was a mishap where my partner accidentally dropped a piece of pear, but the kind server noticed and promptly sliced a new piece for us, showing exceptional kindness. The parfait was delicious and fulfilling. There was a slight wait outside, but the inside of the restaurant was calm with limited seating. The staff were courteous. The parfait was quite large, so it was satisfying to eat. They had several types of strawberry parfait when I went. It was a parfait shop that I would like to visit again.

Arrived around 10:45 AM on Saturday morning. There were about 10 people waiting, so I decided to put my name on the waiting sheet and understood that there were 6 tables, so I wouldn't be seated until the 7th group. I wandered around for about 30 minutes. I came back at 11:20 AM but there was still no movement, so I walked around the shopping street for another 10 minutes. I returned to the front of the restaurant around 11:30 AM to wait for my turn. I was called in after a few minutes of waiting. I ordered the Fruit Parfait for 1,000 yen. It came out faster than I expected. The fruits used in the parfait were clearly listed, and as someone who loves pineapples and pears, I was very pleased with the taste. The ice cream was elegant and delicious. Overall, everything was delicious! I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at eleven o'clock. There were 16 people inside the restaurant. I probably waited for about fifteen minutes. The melon was delicious, very juicy, soft, sweet, and melts in your mouth. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is stylish and very calming. I want to come back here again.

I arrived at the restaurant around 12:40 on a weekday. It was a rainy day, so I was quickly seated. This place offers delicious seasonal fruit at reasonable prices. They have started serving grapes this year, and I ordered the parfait with 12 different grape varieties, including Ruby Roman. It was fun to taste each grape while referring to the "variety composition chart." The cream was not too sweet and complemented the fruit well. The homemade ice cream topped it off perfectly. I have visited this place countless times. The atmosphere is very cozy and I enjoy learning about different fruits and their varieties. You can even make a reservation for their parfaits. I finally visited during grape parfait season and it was delicious! The grapes and grape ice cream were so tasty. I definitely want to go back at least one more time.

I had a grape parfait. It was very delicious with 10 different types of grapes and grape ice cream. It's a popular restaurant, so I had to wait quite a bit. However, they let you write your name down and come back at a convenient time, so I thought it was a good idea to explore Asakusa while waiting.

When I visited around 13:30 on a weekday, there was a wait of about 20 minutes to get in. The special parfaits of the day were two types of melon parfaits and two types of watermelon parfaits. Both were delicious. My friend who came with me was very happy too. Every time I go, I can enjoy different fruit parfaits.

I've always wanted to try the parfait from this fruit shop that uses Yamanashi peaches (such as Natsuko). The peaches are so big and there's no cake or anything, it's a parfait that relies on the quality of the peaches. I love it so much! The peaches go so well with the dairy products, and the fresh cream used was exceptionally delicious! It was just a bit pricey.

Watermelon juice is truly a lifesaver in the sweltering humidity and heat of Hong Kong. So, I headed to Goto Fruits Parlor in search of their watermelon juice and plum parfait. The watermelon juice, refreshing and cooling, was like a gentle rain in a scorching hot day, soothing the heat away from my body. And then, the plum parfait, made with high-quality plums, was a delight for my taste buds. The crunchy texture and rich fruit juice were simply irresistible. Overall, it was a delicious experience. The watermelon juice had an incredible sweetness without any bitterness, and the plum parfait was a true masterpiece. I prefer more sour flavors, but this was perfect for most people's tastes. If you're interested, I recommend visiting around 4 pm. It was truly a delightful experience!

On Saturday, after enjoying the beef tongue at "Tanjirou," you definitely need some dessert (laughs)! We visited "Fruit Parlor Goto," which is located near "Tanjirou." We arrived at 12:48, wrote our names at the registration desk, and had to wait for 7 people in 3 groups ahead of us. People who left were allowed to enter when they came back. We finally entered at 1:31. The interior had 3 tables for 4 people and 3 for 2 people. The operation was handled by 5 people. At 1:38, the parfait arrived! It had bananas, pears, kiwi, watermelon, oranges, grapefruits, pineapples, etc., and looked beautiful! The acidity of the kiwi ice and the sweetness of the vanilla ice were a great combination and tasted delicious! There were two types of peaches: one with a firm texture and acidity, and another soft, sweet, and juicy. The sweet and juicy peach was incredibly delicious! I was surprised by the evolution of the fruit parfait and I finished it in no time. It was a very delicious parfait! Thank you for the meal! We left at 1:51, and there was a sign at the entrance saying that peaches were no longer available.

In August, during summer vacation, I visited a popular sweet shop in Asakusa where many people were gathered. The nearby ice cream shop was also crowded, so I had to wait for about 20 minutes before entering. It was hot outside, but luckily the shop had shaded areas. I ordered a Gold Pineapple parfait for ¥900, which had homemade pineapple ice cream and chopped pineapples. It was delicious, with the perfect balance of sweetness and juiciness. Although the strawberry parfait was sold out, I was happy with my choice. Despite the popularity of the shop, the prices were reasonable, with various parfait options available. They only accept cash for payment and it's recommended to visit early as items tend to sell out quickly.

The fruit sandwich is a luxurious dish made with carefully selected fruits and bread from the 70-year-old well-established store "Asakusa Pelican". The fluffy and slightly sweet bread goes perfectly with the fresh cream and fruits. The kiwi, banana, pineapple, and watermelon in between are all incredibly sweet and juicy. The cold juice, a blend of aromatic melon and milk, is so delicious I couldn't stop drinking it. They also have seasonal menus, so I definitely want to visit again to taste the seasonal fruits. ☺️"

I lined up 30 minutes before opening, sweating profusely, to get the white peach parfait and managed to secure a spot for the first serving. The service is slow, and the fruit sandwich takes a long time, so if you go for a second serving, be prepared to wait for an hour. Today's white peach variety is called "Natsuko" from Niigata prefecture. It's my first time trying white peaches from Niigata! The presentation with plenty of peach slices looks amazing and the sweetness makes me smile unconsciously. The white peaches are served at room temperature to bring out their sweetness, but they are paired with cold peach sorbet to give a refreshing contrast. Topped simply with whipped cream, this parfait allows you to enjoy the pure taste of peaches, which I personally prefer. It's truly delicious! I also ordered a watermelon juice which was amazingly good. Since there were many people waiting, I downed it quickly and left. I can't wait to go back again soon!
