The restaurant was located further from Ikebukuro Station than expected, but despite its subtle location, it was a popular spot with limited seating. Everyone who tried to walk in was turned away. The Genghis Khan (Mongolian barbecue) was really tender and delicious, with no strong smell. It was not smelly at all, which may be disappointing for those who enjoy the smell of lamb. I think even those who can't eat lamb could enjoy it. Although I was initially surprised by the 90-minute time limit during busy hours, the service was very fast and we were able to finish and leave in just over an hour. Good value for money.

The lamb is thick and delicious. It is cooked in the traditional way of grilling on a charcoal fire. The house wine is easy to drink, but I think a stronger flavor would be better to pair with the lamb. The salmon appetizer is excellent. Overall, I think it's a good restaurant run by locals.

The restaurant was bustling with lots of people. The Genghis Khan meat was thick and satisfying, making you feel full. The best part was being able to drink Sapporo Classic draft beer, so delicious and happy! Even those who couldn't drink alcohol enjoyed the vegetable juice and drinking yogurt. Everyone loved the tasty meat. I will definitely go back again!

It was really delicious! I started with a toast with Sapporo Classic beer, which was amazing! For the meat, I had raw beef shoulder loin, heart, and beef throat. They were all delicious, but personally, I couldn't resist the heart...! It didn't have much of a gamey taste, so I could eat it easily! You can choose your own salt or sauce, so it was fun to try different flavors. They also have Hokkaido potato shochu, Kiyosato, and a variety of Hokkaido sake. It was so delicious, and I want to try other drinks, so I will visit again!

My friend took me to this restaurant that they frequent. Mongolian barbecue is healthy, so you can eat as much as you want. The meat here is especially fresh, so delicious that you want to keep eating. There is no smell of meat at all, and I ended up getting seconds. Just like the name of the restaurant, it truly is divine lamb! Thank you for the meal. At the Ikebukuro West Exit, there is a Genghis Khan (Mongolian BBQ) restaurant called "Kamino Hitsuji." It's a bit of a walk from the station, but it's quite crowded. The owner is a fan of pro wrestling, so you can enjoy various wrestling-themed decorations throughout the restaurant. They serve delicious Genghis Khan with a simple yakiniku sauce and Genghis Khan sauce that is not too strong in flavor. I ended up drinking a lot of alcohol, but the dessert ice cream was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

My friend was interested in this place, so we visited together. They use fresh lamb meat, not frozen, which raised our expectations. We ordered the Genghis Khan set with additional lamb throat, cucumber, Kakuteki, and grilled seasoned lamb shoulder loin. Being from Kanto, I wasn't sure how to grill it properly, but even so, the quality of the ingredients made it delicious. There was no gamey taste, but a nice aroma, perfect for those who like lamb. We grilled some with sauce or salt, but there were also Bell and Solatchi sauces available (apparently the two famous Genghis Khan sauces). The lamb throat had a nice chew to it and was also delicious. The grilled seasoned lamb shoulder loin had a savory aroma and was tasty. We didn't drink alcohol, but we were satisfied with the amount we ate, and it didn't even cost us 8,000 yen for the two of us. The cost performance is amazing. I want to go again. Next time, I'll try it with the Bell and Solatchi sauces...

The location is a bit far from the station and not ideal, but the restaurant was fully booked, so walk-in customers were being turned away. I was able to make a same-day reservation, so it seems like reservations are generally available. The owner seems to be from Hokkaido, and I was thrilled to find Sapporo Classic beer available in Tokyo! That alone got me excited. The menu had a strong Hokkaido influence, which was great.
- Genghis Khan set: The raw lamb shoulder loin with kimchi and vegetables was delicious. There were two types of dipping sauces available, as well as salt and cumin on the table for flavor variations. The meat was tender and had no gamey taste.
- Lamb tongue: The texture was chewy, and it was best served rare with yuzu pepper ponzu or salt.
- Chilled tomato: It's not the kind of place you'd go for a date, but it's reasonably priced and delicious. This is what Genghis Khan should taste like! As a Hokkaido native, I was very satisfied.

I made a reservation at this restaurant with my friends for a year-end party through Tabelog. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a pleasant smell. We ordered the Genghis Khan Takahashi set (300g of raw lamb shoulder loin, kimchi, and a vegetable platter). The lamb was delicious! The sweet tare sauce paired perfectly with the lamb. I also liked that there were salt and cumin on the table, allowing us to customize the flavors to our liking. We also had the Hokkaido-style grilled potatoes with salted fish roe and butter. The combination was amazing! The Hakodate salted fish roe was surprisingly mild. The smoked salmon belly was fatty and delicious. It was nice to be able to enjoy Sapporo Classic draft beer as well. The Misato highball was a sweet highball with ginger, which was quite enjoyable. We received a lovely gift of Japanese sake from a regular customer, which was a nice surprise. We ordered additional meat, including lamb tongue and Genghis Khan set, both of which were delicious. The lamb tongue had a crunchy texture and was very tasty. The owner was friendly, and we had a great time dining at the restaurant. Thank you for the wonderful meal. I heard that there is a sister restaurant nearby that serves pork bowl, so I would like to visit there as well.

I was recommended to go to this restaurant by my hairstylist, who I always rely on. I tried Genghis Khan for the first time, and it was really delicious without any unpleasant smell. I have brought a few friends with me on multiple occasions, and they always say they want to come back again because the food is so good. I will continue to visit this restaurant.

Once you get hooked, you'll want to eat Genghis Khan again. I made a Go To reservation the day before. I called ahead because I was going to arrive earlier than planned, but they said there were still no seats available, even though it's far from the station, it's popular, huh? I was happy to see plastic covers on the coat hangers. And I was guided to a table by the window, so it's a bit smelly (but there's Febreze) but the ventilation is good. Cheers with a highball! I ordered the Genghis Khan set and since you can order other items starting from one serving, I just got one serving. The pumpkin is sweet and the garlic sprouts are delicious! The bean sprouts are nice and crunchy. The shoulder loin is thick and juicy, with a good amount of fat on it! The sauce is somehow the most delicious! Medium rare after cooking it for a while is the best. The lamb tongue with salt is crunchy and goes well with yuzu pepper or ponzu sauce! It's a bit salty, so it might be better with a little salt. Yuzu pepper and ponzu sauce are also good. I prefer this rare! The lamb heart is surprisingly light! It's more chewy than crunchy! I think sauce is better than salt for this one! Yuzu pepper and ponzu sauce are also good. The lamb throat meat is chewy and delicious! It tastes more like lamb when eaten with salt! It's as delicious as the shoulder loin! Eating it with salt, I found that this one has the most gaminess ❤ The Tokachi pork bowl in medium size (made with three types of pork) is delicious with a sweet sauce and a hint of pepper! It's thick and fragrant! The sweetness of the pork is (´∇`) My companion said they didn't need pickled ginger, so I left them all to myself, but hey, you've been eating plenty of pickled ginger chicken tempura at Ichija, so it's too late for such a coming out, lol, the mustard won hands down!! The Hokkaido Premium Vanilla ice cream is rich yet refreshing! What's this, it's so delicious! My companion said, "Nanachan will definitely like this," so I ate as much as I wanted, right? I thought it was quite expensive, but when I realized that the drinks alone cost over 6000 yen ( ̄▽ ̄;) Thank you for the meal!

I didn't expect to be able to drink classic in places other than Hokkaido (*_*)! The rum and premium tongue are delicious! However... I wonder if the Hokkaido Genghis Khan in Akihabara is better? It's a matter of preference (o^^o)(o^^o)

I visited KaminoHitsuji. It is a super famous Genghis Khan (Mongolian barbecue) restaurant in Ikebukuro, and the food was incredibly delicious! The meat was light and tasted amazing when mixed with the sauce. They also serve Sapporo Classic beer on tap, which is a rare find. I heard they are planning to open a pork bowl restaurant as well, so I definitely want to visit again.

The lamb meat at this restaurant is truly divine, living up to the restaurant's name. Unlike any lamb meat I've had before, it is tender, juicy, and incredibly delicious. Despite being a bit far from the station, finding this outstanding restaurant has made me completely satisfied.

I had the Genghis Khan Takahashi set with rice and beef tongue on top. The meat was tender and I finished it in no time. It went really well with the rice. The beef tongue had a good chew to it but was easy to bite through, and it was very delicious. Eating it with yuzu pepper added a different kind of deliciousness. It's a bit far from the station, but I would like to go again! They also have good ventilation, so it's reassuring. I'm just a little concerned that the appetizers are placed out first.

If you head towards the theater street from the intersection of Ikebukuro Nishiguchi and Ikebukuro 2-chome, take a random left turn (lol) and wander through the narrow back alleys, you will come across a brick building. It's really hard to describe this location... This place offers fresh lamb dishes directly from Hokkaido. However, I always end up ordering grilled lamb instead of Genghis Khan because I love lamb so much and want to enjoy it on its own. We had grilled salted shoulder loin, grilled lamb ribs, premium tongue salt, kimchi assortment, and squid salted guts, among other dishes. The lamb tongue salt is a rare delicacy with a chewy texture that surpasses that of beef tongue. The ribs have a rich flavor, while the shoulder loin is tender and juicy. The side menu is not extensive but serves as a good palate cleanser. The drinks, such as Sapporo beer and Yoichi whiskey, have a strong Hokkaido influence. The ginger-packed ginger highball is sweet, refreshing, and sure to be a hit with ladies. The floor staff may move a bit slowly, but the owner provides polite and attentive service. The place was almost full, likely due to its popularity following its feature on "Ad-machi Heaven" in Ikebukuro Nishiguchi. It's a popular spot in the area, so I recommend making a reservation if you plan to visit. I definitely want to come back for more.

I finally got to go to a restaurant I hadn't been able to visit for a while. The Genghis Khan dish was very delicious. The vegetables were arranged very carefully, more than I've ever seen at other restaurants. I tried lamb heart for the first time and it was tasty. However, I found the hormone series a bit tough to chew, so I wasn't a fan of that. It's a bit far from Ikebukuro Station, but I found my way there without getting lost. You can feel the owner's passion in the quality of the lamb. Unfortunately, they were out of lamb chops that day, which was a bit disappointing.

Genghis Khan is my current favorite, so I always order it at drinking parties. A friend took me to a place near my house. The location is not great, but it has a nice atmosphere and a sense of tradition. The restaurant has about 30 seats, and it was about half full during the weekday peak hours. I ordered the chef's choice set, starting at 980 yen, and added extra meat in the snowman style. The lamb meat in the set had no strong smell, but the cuts were small, making it difficult to eat rare. The premium tongue meat was good, similar to beef. There was a variety of condiments on the table, which was fun. There were two types of sauces, a light grated sauce and the classic Genghis Khan sauce. Both were decent. Different restaurants' take on Genghis Khan is what makes it enjoyable.

My wife and I went to the restaurant again after work. This time, we had the Takahashi set (300g of lamb, vegetables, kimchi), Chanja, and a toast with Black Label lamb heart. For drinks, we had highballs, lamb highballs, and shikuwasa sours. As always, the lamb meat was delicious. Today, there was a slight lamb smell due to the wind, but the meat was tender and delicious. The Chanja had a nice balance without any strange sweetness. It was my first time trying lamb heart! I was excited to see what it would be like, but it wasn't as tasty as I expected (laughs). When grilled and eaten, it had a slightly fishy blood-like taste. My wife didn't like it very much. I still haven't tried lamb offal or premium lamb tongue, so I want to come back again! The lamb shoulder loin might be the best choice. The chilled meat is really fresh. When dipped in yuzu ponzu, it becomes incredibly refreshing and you can eat as much as you want. Thank you for the meal. We will come back again.

Actually, I had been curious about "Kamino Hitsuji" for a while now. The name itself gives a sense of expectation and mystery. And, there are two shops near Ikebukuro called "Kamino Hitsuji Ikebukuro" and "Kamino Hitsuji." This time, I visited "Kamino Hitsuji Ikebukuro." The owner of the shop is very polite and left a good impression. I was told that "Kamino Hitsuji" used to be at the location of this shop before moving to its current, larger location, and the name of the shop is similar but not related to the previous one. Tonight, we had Genghis Khan! First, we toasted with Sapporo Black Label beer. We ordered a Genghis Khan set for two, lamb tongue, and kimchi. The staff first set up the cabbage and bean sprouts and started grilling them. When they were ready, they added the lamb meat, which looked beautiful! It had no smell at all. High expectations. They grilled it well on both sides and we tried it with salt. Delicious! No smell, tender, and tasty! Next, we tried it with ponzu sauce. Unusual but delicious. It was amazing how well the ponzu sauce and lamb meat went together. Surprising. This was delicious. The lamb tongue was also delicious! And you could eat it quickly, it was so good. I wish I could have eaten more slowly, but it was time to pay. It was really delicious. Thank you for the meal. I will come again.
