【Revisit】I visited Asakusa's Uonami after a long time. On this day, I had work near Asakusa, and I was walking around Asakusa with a colleague who is also a classmate. We were not very familiar with Asakusa, so we were wondering where to eat. However, my colleague suggested trying a nice place, not an open cafe on Niboshi Street, but a restaurant that serves proper dishes. It had been a while since I last visited, and the two middle-aged guys felt a bit out of place in this stylish little shop. We started with a toast with draft beer. Since my colleague is not a big fan of the internet or social media, he didn't like taking photos, so I didn't take any pictures of the beer or the appetizers. We started with "Wasabi Flowers," which are the tender part of the wasabi stem in vinegar, and then had "Dried Blackthroat Seaperch." Surprisingly, my colleague allowed me to take a photo this time, so I was able to capture images from this point on. As classmates and work colleagues, we talked about private matters, old stories, and work-related topics, and enjoyed dishes like "Grilled Abalone with Liver Sauce" and "Grilled Broad Beans." His wife doesn't drink alcohol, but she seemed to like the restaurant, saying it was a good place to bring her along. Next time, we'll bring his wife and enjoy delicious food together!

I revisited a restaurant called "Uonami," facing Yagicho Street. I found this place a few years ago by wandering around on my own. I hadn't been there for a while, but I decided to visit again. The atmosphere is great, and everything you eat is delicious. The store has a simple and elegant appearance, making it a "sophisticated adult's shop" where you can easily enter. This time, I was alone and had already had a drink at another place, so I wasn't very hungry. I ordered some light dishes. In May, the month without the letter "R," I had "Grilled Oyster Skewers," which were fragrant and had a hint of the sea, perfect with alcohol. I also had a refreshing "Chilled Tomato" with a crisp texture and a slightly strong tomato flavor. Then, I wanted to try the "Abalone," a high-end ingredient that was surprisingly priced at less than 2000 yen. However, being alone, I couldn't order it this time, but I definitely want to try it next time when I visit with two or more people. The other creative dishes were also delicious, so it might be nice to visit with a group and share the food.
