Every time I passed by the restaurant that specializes in Samgyetang, I was curious but never had the chance to go. This long-established restaurant has already surpassed its 30th anniversary and is located very close to Azabu-Juban Station, making it easy to find. The interior of the restaurant mainly consists of large table seats. The lunch menu includes not only Samgyetang but also Bibimbap and Yakiniku lunch sets, among other options. The Samgyetang comes with kimchi, namul, kakuteki, and salad as a set. The Bibimbap lunch comes with kimchi, salad, and wakame soup. When the piping hot half Samgyetang was served, it was so steamy that I couldn't see clearly, but after it settled a bit, I took a picture. Despite being half a chicken, it was quite a generous portion and the chicken meat was tender and fell apart easily. The collagen-rich broth was delicious enough to drink on its own, and dipping the chicken meat in salt and pepper on a small plate enhanced the flavor. The stone pot Bibimbap was mixed well by the staff at the table, which was reassuring. Gochujang was available on the table, allowing you to adjust the spiciness level to your liking. For drinks after the meal, you can choose from coffee, iced tea, or ginger tea. I opted for iced coffee, but the ginger tea seemed to warm the body and make you feel cozy. Just like I thought when I visited Korea, the dishes at specialty restaurants are truly delicious because they are authentic. Bon appétit!

Located a few minutes' walk from Roppongi Roborobo Park, this restaurant featured in Bib Gourmand was our choice for dinner. The kids love dishes like Jjim and Bibimbap, while I was curious about Samgyetang. However, the kids were hesitant to try new dishes they haven't had before, especially if they are dark in color. Grace, a first-time visitor, was impressed by the menu options, including a half portion of Samgyetang. We decided on the half portion of Samgyetang, Stone Pot Bibimbap, Vegetable Jjim, and later added Grace-style Stir-fried Meat and Vegetables. We also ordered some Lemon Sour drinks. The first dish to arrive was the Samgyetang, served in a bubbling hot pot. The kids were intrigued by the presentation and decided to give it a try. To our surprise, they loved it and even asked for seconds. The gentle flavor of the soup, tender chicken, and rice at the bottom made it a hit with everyone. The Samgyetang was so comforting and soothing. The kids enjoyed adding kimchi and bean sprouts to change up the flavors. The Jjim came with both sweet and spicy dipping sauces and was cut into bite-sized pieces for easy eating. Mixing the Stone Pot Bibimbap with the soup was a delightful experience. The Grace-style Stir-fried Meat was a standout dish, especially when wrapped in lettuce. The rich miso-like sauce on the meat paired perfectly with the rice. We ended up ordering an extra half portion of rice. To our surprise, we were also treated to a complimentary ice cream dessert, with options like salted vanilla and yuzu sherbet. The bright and welcoming atmosphere, along with excellent service, made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant's slogan rings true - Grace's Samgyetang seems like the perfect remedy for when you're feeling a little worn out.

I went to this nearby restaurant because I'm feeling a bit weak. It's also featured in the Bill Gruman, so I was able to get in without a reservation even though it's summer. Around 1:00 PM on Tuesday, it seemed to be full, but we managed to get a table around 12:00 PM. We shared the Samgyetang (whole chicken) and the special Ojiya for two people. The flavors were rich and deep, and it's gentle on the stomach so you can eat it even if you don't have much of an appetite. I heard that the chicken in the Samgyetang tastes delicious when you take it out and sprinkle it with salt and pepper. The Ojiya is also made with the Samgyetang soup, so it has a gentle flavor as well. If you find the taste a bit bland, you can add the special sauce on top. I tried a little and it was delicious. Thank you for the meal. I recommend this place for when you're feeling summer fatigue.

I made a reservation at Grace for the purpose of trying their chicken soup, and was able to enter smoothly. I ordered a course meal, which was quite substantial (I forgot to take a photo). However, the price was very reasonable, so I think the course meal offers great value for the money.

I happened to come across this shop while walking by. They specialize in Samgyetang (Korean chicken soup), so I decided to go in without hesitation. The atmosphere of the shop is classic, like an old-fashioned yakiniku restaurant. Besides Samgyetang, they have a variety of other menu items which made it hard for me to decide what to order. I ended up ordering a half portion of Samgyetang along with other dishes. The Namul assortment, Korean seaweed, Kimchi, Chijimi, Hachinosu, and Japchae were all delicious. The Samgyetang was like a thinner version of Tori Shiratama Ramen from Roppongi Koki-en. In terms of taste alone, I would give it a 3 out of 5. However, the service was so terrible that it ruined the dining experience. The way they placed the glass for the drink at the beginning felt like it was slammed down, and they continued to place dishes on the table as if they were throwing them. It's rare for me to have a bad mood due to service when going out to eat. They should consider using robots to bring the food instead.

The highlight is definitely the Samgyetang. Tender meat, flavorful soup, traditional Korean herbs, and delicious ingredients. A genuine Korean restaurant that even lets you eat the meat. You can't leave without trying the Samgyetang. They also offer a variety of other tasty Korean dishes. The course menu is recommended. Thank you for the meal. We will visit again.

This is an authentic Korean restaurant. I visited for the first time for their Samgyetang! On this day, I had the course menu.
- Kimchi
- Namul assortment
- Deji Bossam (pork and vegetable wraps)
- Vegetable Jeon (Korean pancake)
- Korean-style cold tofu
- Mentaiko salad
- Samgyetang
- Stone pot bibimbap
- Ginger tea
- Salted vanilla ice cream
The dishes were served very quickly. The flavors were mild and gentle, perfect for those looking for herbal cuisine. The standout dish was the Samgyetang, a gentle and flavorful ginseng and jujube soup. The service was a bit rushed, so if you prefer a more relaxed dining experience, it might be better to visit for lunch or set meals. Overall, a good choice for those craving medicinal Korean cuisine.

I visited during a late lunch time with no crowds. I ordered the half ginseng chicken soup, which came with salad, namul, kakuteki, kimchi, and the main ginseng chicken soup. You can also request half rice if you want. The meal came with a choice of drink (coffee, tea, ginger tea). Despite being a Michelin regular, the ginseng chicken soup tasted ordinary to me. Why is ginseng chicken soup so expensive? The ginger tea at the end was too sweet, leaving a strange aftertaste.

Directly imported from Korea, the "Samgyetang" is a premium medicinal cuisine known for its health benefits such as improving lifestyle diseases, promoting blood circulation, and alleviating menopausal symptoms. It is not only good for the body but also has a delicious taste, with tender chicken meat infused with the flavors of ginseng and medicinal herbs that are unmatched in taste. Additionally, the "Korean-style Cold Tofu" with its unique sweet and savory taste, the "Tejibossam" with a slightly tangy sesame-flavored sweet and savory sauce, the "Vegetable Jeon" with plenty of vegetables and two different sauces that make you want to eat more, the "Japchae" that surprises you with how delicious vegetables and glass noodles can be, and the "Kimchi Tofu Stew" that showcases the rich soybean flavor of tofu alongside the spiciness of kimchi, all contribute to a truly satisfying dining experience. Lastly, the salted ice cream or yuzu sherbet served as a palate cleanser was the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, the authentic Korean home-cooked dishes provided a truly happy and fulfilling dining experience, which is why it is no surprise that this restaurant has been consecutively selected by Michelin (Bib Gourmand). Thank you for the delicious meal.

I had lunch here before, but this was my first time visiting at night. The restaurant was crowded on the weekend. I ordered the following items:
- Bossam
- Samgyetang (half)
- Nori, rice
- Korean tofu
- Kimchi pancake
The bossam portion was a bit small but stylish. The kimchi pancake, tofu, samgyetang were all delicious. My child had nori and rice which cost about 1,000 yen, which we found to be the least cost-effective option. There was also a solo diner, so it seems to be quite popular. If you ever suddenly crave samgyetang alone, I recommend visiting here.

I always get takeout from this Korean restaurant that specializes in Samgyetang, which is even listed in the Michelin guide. This time, I dined in after a long time. They don't serve barbecue. It's a popular spot in Azabu-Juban where reservations are a must. I usually call ahead for takeout, and this time I made a reservation for dining in. The takeout portion is enough for two people, but I can finish a whole one by myself. Kimchi is a must, and you might need to ask for extra green onions. The combination of Kimchi, Samgyetang, and rice is all you need. The food was delicious as always. I've been dealing with a lingering cold for a while now, but finally starting to feel better. The Samgyetang here was really comforting and healing. I managed to secure a last-minute reservation for the evening, but it's usually fully booked, so reservations are essential. The Phoenix Course for 5,500 yen was ordered, and the dishes were all delightful.

"Mishelin Samgyetang! The Michelin emblem is prominently displayed, making it a great place to enjoy healthy and delicious food. The clientele is mostly women, and the appetizers are plentiful. Rice is free and available upon request. I didn't order rice this time, but even just the glutinous rice in the samgyetang provided a satisfying meal. Thank you for the delicious meal."

I used to visit Grace about 20 years ago. The taste and atmosphere have not changed, everything I eat is delicious. It's a nice space without any pretentiousness. The clientele is also classy. The ginseng chicken soup is always delicious and seems good for the body. I had a glass of wine, but there are various Korean drinks available, so I want to try them next time.

- Ginseng chicken soup
- Stone bibimbap
- Japchae
- Cod roe salad
- Yuzu sherbet (bonus)
- Visit time: Around 5:15 PM on a holiday
- Congestion status: No waiting
- Reservation: Pre-booking available (called at 5:30 PM)
- Number of visitors: 3 people
- Tabelog score: 3.48 (April 2023)
- Genre: Korean cuisine
- Remarks: When I visited, all seats were reserved. Even on the day of the visit, the phone was ringing frequently for reservations, and it seemed like they were trying to fit in during the gaps in the schedule. The flavors are all gentle, so for those who like strong flavors, it's good to adjust the taste with salt and pepper or kimchi. The ginseng chicken soup has a particularly gentle flavor, closer to the authentic taste rather than something that Japanese people would prefer. The stone bibimbap has a lot of moisture in the rice, and the gochujang sauce is not very spicy, so even those who don't like spicy food should be fine.

I finally got to try out a popular restaurant that I've been curious about for a while! As expected from a popular spot, the food was delicious! The spiciness was just right, suitable for Japanese taste buds, and the comforting flavor of the samgyetang soup was soothing. This time, I opted for the course menu, which was a good deal and highly recommended, but next time I want to try out different dishes as well!

An affordable Korean restaurant in the Asakusa area that is a bit more luxurious. It is different from Korean restaurants in Shin-Okubo in terms of menu. I think the course menu is surprisingly cost-effective, so it's okay to choose the course if you're unsure.

I finally got to visit the famous samgyetang restaurant that I often see on TV and have been recommended by many friends. Since it was my first time, I opted for the course menu. The various dishes that came before the main samgyetang were all delicious. They had a unique lineup that I had never tried before, but each dish had a sophisticated and familiar taste, making it easy to finish them all in no time. As for the samgyetang, it was rich and the staff even shredded the chicken for me, making it easy to eat and very delicious. In Japan, samgyetang often lacks the rich flavor of the original, but the one here had a satisfying richness to it.

Luckily, we were able to make a reservation!Ginseng chicken soup is so filling that you might get full just by having that alone. But Grace offers a half-size option, so even with two people, you can enjoy other menu items as well. The soup with all the essence and extracts is incredibly delicious. The flavor is quite gentle, so you can add salt and pepper to your liking. The meat was so tender that it seemed like you could eat the bones too.My favorite this time was the Korean-style cold tofu. The tofu with spicy sauce is perfect with drinks! I was surprised by the unexpectedly large portion of cold tofu. Lastly, we were served ginger tea (?) and ice cream as a service. I had the half chicken lunch set with ginseng soup. It was easy to eat because it had no strong taste. It was great for nourishing and strengthening the body. I felt a little bit unsatisfied with just half a chicken, but then I realized it came with rice and I ended up feeling full. I want to eat this delicious meal again!

I entered the restaurant on a sunny Saturday just before 12 o'clock. There were only two tables left to be filled. I ordered the Samgyetang for 2,200 yen, which came with side dishes and a drink. The restaurant's name is Grace, but it serves Korean cuisine. There were several shields displayed when it was selected as a Bib Gourmand. The Samgyetang was served in a sizzling stone pot, similar to bibimbap. It was brought to the table bubbling hot. A separate plate and pot for bones were provided. You can add salt to your liking, but the soup was delicious even without much salt, thanks to the rich chicken broth. It contained pine nuts, jujube, and ginseng, giving it a similar feel to a hot pot. The chicken meat was tender and easily came off the bones. With rice in it, it was very satisfying. Ah, it warmed me up. I had been feeling tired from the weekday, but after eating this Samgyetang, my body felt lighter. It's not just a feeling, it really happened.

I think it's the most delicious Samgyetang in Tokyo! The restaurant is casual and the staff are friendly. I ordered the half size Samgyetang, stir-fried squid, kimchi pancake, hachinose, and grilled tripe. The Samgyetang soup had a rich flavor and the chicken was tender from being simmered slowly. Not only the Samgyetang, but all the Korean dishes were delicious. The price of Samgyetang felt a bit high, so I may not be able to go frequently, but it's a taste I would like to visit again.

I heard that Samgyetang was delicious, so I decided to try it. Surprisingly, the sauce on the tofu was delicious, and it went well with Makgeolli. Makgeolli is so easy to drink that I couldn't stop. This restaurant was a great place for a lunch with delicious Samgyetang, even better than stone pot bibimbap.
