My son 2 likes kebabs. When we come to Akihabara, he always wants to eat it. It's convenient that there are kebab shops on both sides of the station. Today, we went to the one with a female staff member who was smiling. I tried a bite of the kebab, the meat was delicious. Although the inside of the bread is mostly cabbage, the generous amount of meat on top makes up for it. Sitting on a bench and eating like this is also part of the charm of such shops.

I had some errands to run in Tokyo, so I went to Aslan Kebab Akihabara store on Junk Street. I always wonder why there are so many kebab shops in Akihabara, but oh well, haha. I ordered the "Doner Kebab" chicken sandwich. It was packed with meat and vegetables in pita bread. The meat and cabbage were plentiful. Surprisingly, they gave me extra meat for free! Lucky me! The unique sauce mixed perfectly with everything and made it so delicious. It was so tasty! I want to eat it again.

I visited Akihabara and tried the popular B-grade gourmet, kebab. I bought a chicken kebab around 1 pm. You can choose from 5 different sauces, which vary in spiciness. I chose the second from the top, "chili", that day. The price seems to have gone up in recent years, but they generously piled cabbage and chicken on it. I enjoyed the surprisingly light chicken meat and pita bread combination.

If you're feeling peckish in Akihabara, this is the place to go. They serve more meat compared to other shops, and their original sauce has a consistent flavor. Personally, I recommend the kebab potato. The buttery potatoes go well with the kebab. The sauce is a yogurt original, not too spicy. They seem to have started providing chopsticks, but it's like a Turkish sandwich, so it's better to just bite into it and get sauce all over saying "It's delicious!" However, it's not a taste that I would recommend for children. Also, they no longer have beef, only chicken.

I wonder why... ever since my student days, without even realizing it, I've been buying kebabs from this shop... There are plenty of kebab shops in Akihabara, but for some reason I always end up here... Is my brain unconsciously telling me that the food is delicious...? By the way, it's delicious! (laughs)

Moses' kebab on the west side of Akihabara Station. I was called in by the staff and decided to buy it. It seems that it was also featured on a TV show called "Matsuko's Unknown World", but Moses himself is said to be at the main store in Ueno and Ameyoko. In addition to the classic Doner kebab, they also have a variety of options such as Shawarma (maybe kebab wrap?) and kebab rice.
Personal recommendation:
Doner kebab (mix)
They only have the original sauce. There may not be any particular features of this shop, but it was delicious in a traditional way.

There are several kebab shops in Akihabara, and I decided to grab dinner there on a whim! It was delicious! I used to have the impression that kebabs were a bit messy, but that image was completely changed. I got a kebab, kebab sandwich, and pickles as toppings, choosing medium spiciness. The meat was delicious, and I finished it in no time! Even the design of the wrapping bag was cute. Check out my blog for more details: https://zan3tho.com

Akihabara! I rarely come here for anything other than food, but I had some shopping to do so I stopped by. Since I try not to eat much at night, I decided to have something light and went to a kebab shop. Outside the shop, a young male staff member was energetically promoting the shop. Although I wasn't led by him, I entered the shop. I was surprised to hear music playing, and it was coming from this shop (laughs). Trendy Western music was playing in a club mix. It reminded me of kebabs in Roppongi. I ordered a mix of beef and chicken. It was said that Japanese people are not used to lamb meat, so they prefer beef or pork. Personally, I like lamb meat, but I'm sure not everyone does. I would like to try the authentic taste someday! I chose a spicy sauce. The beef was fried, adding to the junk food feel (laughs). It was easy to eat and had a taste that Japanese people would like. It's quite cheap at 600 yen! If I was hungrier, I would have liked to try the long fries as well. When it comes to light junk food, kebabs are the way to go. It was a delicious meal.

In November, on a Sunday in Tokyo, on the first day of the trip, the second stop was planned to be a highball bar near Kanda Station with a friend named Noppo. However, despite searching with the help of two Google maps, the bar could not be found. It turned out that the bar was closed even though it was a Saturday. Feeling lost, they were approached by a girl promoting a girls' bar. An hour later, they reluctantly decided to enter the girls' bar due to its affordability.
After parting ways with Noppo at Akihabara Station to catch the last train, the narrator wandered around Akihabara looking for a place to eat and drink. Unable to find any open restaurants except for chain stores, they eventually stumbled upon a "Detective Bar" advertisement being promoted by another girl. An hour later, the narrator found themselves once again justifying their choice of entering the bar due to its affordability.
By 1:50 AM, feeling hungry again, the narrator continued to wander around Akihabara. Eventually, they found a kebab shop called "Moses's Kebab Akihabara Store." The shop was a welcome sight, and despite feeling intimidated by the large black owner, they entered. However, it turned out that the shop had closed at 1:00 AM. The owner kindly returned 100 yen to the narrator, who had paid 1200 yen for their order.
Back at the hotel, the narrator enjoyed the delicious kebab and kebab rice, feeling satisfied by the meal and the kindness of the shop owner. This marked the end of the first part of their business trip, with the narrator expressing gratitude to the owner.

There are several kebab shops in Akihabara and Ueno areas where you can get full on one coin. Among them, I think Moses' kebab shop has the best cost performance. The most attractive thing is the amount of meat in the kebab. The luxury of being able to taste both beef and chicken at the same time is addictive. And all of this for just one coin. If it's a food stall, it's around 700 yen. Akihabara is a fierce battleground for kebabs, but this is the shop I recommend the most. If you like PC Engine and Chromebook, you should definitely check it out. Moses' kebab Akihabara branch.

Around 5:30 pm on September 18, I visited a place near Sofmap in Akihabara, which is a plaza in front of the store. If you walk down the street and turn right, you will arrive at a street where cute or beautiful women in cosplay outfits are calling out, "How about a café & bar?" Among them, there is a noticeable store front where there are always people who don't seem like they are just trying to attract customers. I ordered a kebab sandwich (500 yen) with a spicy sauce at the counter. While chatting with the staff, I waited for my order to be ready. In no time, it was done. I sat on a bench outside the store. What caught my attention about the kebab was that it contained both chicken and beef. In the past, I always ordered the most basic and cheapest chicken kebab, so having beef in it was a fresh surprise. As I took a bite of the meat, both the chicken and beef were juicy, making me involuntarily exclaim, "Delicious!" Moreover, the amount of meat, both chicken and beef, was generous and not skimped on. The sauce was not just spicy, but it had a spiciness that complemented the meat. Impressive! That explains why this place is so popular. And all of this for the same price as other stores, at 500 yen. The cost performance is great. If you're in Akihabara, this is the place for kebabs. I found a great restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

I was lured in by the inviting atmosphere and decided to eat at this kebab shop. There are a few other kebab shops nearby, but this one is conveniently close to the station. I had a kebab sandwich for 500 yen at the counter inside the shop. I think it would have been a better deal to get a drink set, but I opted for just the sandwich. It was neither good nor bad. I have tried kebabs from a food truck near my home station and a few other places, but this one didn't stand out as exceptional.

Normal size. 600 yen. Even though it's a normal size, there's not enough rice. This time I chose the mixed sauce. It has a slight spicy kick. The meat is crispy and good. It's easy to eat because even the parts that aren't crispy are thinly sliced. There's a lot of meat so you'll feel full, but I still want more rice.

The meat is a mix of chicken and beef, with a sauce that is also a mix of original and chili flavors. The large portion had too much meat and not enough rice, so it felt lacking in rice. The taste was average. Compared to the nearby Star Kebab donburi, which apparently has too much grease and is too heavy, this place is a safer choice. The sauce was too much, and the cabbage was unnecessary. Overall, it's not bad, but there's no need to get the large portion.

I have eaten at this place a few times during the day, but on this particular day, it was close to midnight and all the shops seemed to be closed. I was starting to give up hope when I saw Moses Kebab with its lights still on and a staff member inside. I had not eaten anything all day due to work and was feeling exhausted, so I ordered a spicy kebab and devoured it as soon as it arrived. It was really delicious. It may have just been a coincidence that they were still open, but I was really happy to be able to eat kebab late at night. I would like to visit again.
