Walking north on Ameyoko, we have reached Ueno Station. Underneath the train tracks, there are three conveyor belt sushi restaurants lined up: Kaiten Edokko, Ooedo, and Kaisen Misaki Port. Kaisen Misaki Port always seems to have a line, popular among foreign tourists. I don't feel like having sushi in Ameyoko. I've been to Edokko in Kanda before. Edokko is a well-known place in Kanda, so maybe they are reliable here in Ameyoko too. The impression is neutral, not necessarily bad, so I'll go with Edokko. An older man is luring customers in by holding a cat's paw. Let's see, which one to choose? Well, let's give it a try. Surprisingly small place, but it might be just the right size for a business like this. Ah, it's a touch-screen order system everywhere. The plates flowing by are covered, so they don't seem too dry. Hmm, let's see, what do I want? Can't really enjoy it alone, maybe this isn't the right place for that. What's the safest option? Not sure what to pick on my first visit... The portions seem big, the color is peachy pink - "Negitoro." Somehow drawn to it, maybe that's the safe choice... Hmm, despite the color, it tastes light, maybe Bintcho or something... "Tsubugai." Come to think of it, the Tsubugai at conveyor belt sushi places seems like a substitute shellfish. Safe choice, why not "Aji"? Maybe I wasn't really looking for something delicious... Hmm, feeling doubtful about why I came in. It was all noodles, where's the sushi rice? Is it because it's convenient and on a conveyor belt?... I ordered three plates, but I seem to be concerned about something... As an adult, ordering only three plates... Maybe I should have gone with four plates. Enagawa, it's a safe choice, not bad. The feeling of having safely completed my visit to the restaurant. Let's leave quickly. Paid with small bills and got two red coins... Four plates, 8 pieces, not enough but... Feeling like it's enough. Maybe it would have been safer to just have a set meal instead? A sense of safety... or something like that.
