I went to a Dragon Quest-themed bar called "Dorakuefu and Ruida" for a meetup. It used to be in Roppongi, but now it's in Akihabara. There's also an Eorzea Cafe themed after Final Fantasy 14 in the same building. Reservations are required and there's a strict 2-hour time limit with a complete turnover of guests. You can try to make a same-day reservation if there's availability, but it might be full on weekends and holidays. The interior has regular table seating as well as barrel tables. Some people were standing and drinking. You order using tablets. Since it was a meetup, I wanted photogenic dishes, so I ordered the Golden Slime omelette rice, Mini Medal pizza, and pancakes first. Then, for taste and shareability, I got the Great Dragon's scorching jerky and Super Tension Ball okonomiyaki. You have to ask the staff individually for plates and utensils for sharing. They offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and some drinks let you choose between the two. I had Veronica Float, Mahya Dedos Smoothie, and Elf's Elixir. When you order a drink, you get a random monster coaster. The recommended drink was the Mahya Dedos Smoothie, which tasted like a cocktail. It's lonely to chant Mahya Dedos without a magic wand if you're alone, haha. The magic wand is taken away quickly, so take photos early! Last order time varies depending on how busy it is, and on this day it was 40 minutes before closing. The tablet has a convenient feature for splitting the bill, which is great for meetups. Splitting the bill between 4 people, it was around 4000 yen per person. It's a great place for a Dragon Quest meetup.

I love Dragon Quest, so I went to a themed restaurant for it! Since it's summer vacation, I thought it might be crowded, so I made a reservation online. It's about a 5-minute walk from the station. I couldn't have found it on my own. The inside of the restaurant was filled with Dragon Quest music, which got me really excited! I ordered using a tablet called the "Magic Stone Tablet" and shared various dishes because I wanted to try everything. Surprisingly, the food was delicious! The drinks were refreshing and tasty, perfect for the hot weather. There were other dishes I wanted to try, so I definitely want to go back! I also bought some gummies and souvenirs on my way out.

Yes! It's "Luida's Bar"! It's located in Akihabara! (((o(*゚▽゚*)o))) It's a permanent establishment so you can visit anytime. This year marks its 13th anniversary. The genre is listed as "bar" in the game setting, but the atmosphere feels more like a "cafe". It's recommended to make a reservation for weekends. There is a 2-hour time limit for each group. Weekdays are less crowded. On 6/25 Sunday, there were 3 reservations and it was almost fully booked. The place was bustling with couples, group gatherings, elderly groups, and solo customers. The staff performed with a Dragon Quest theme, which was very entertaining. The menu includes dishes like Madhand's Keema Curry, Golden Slime's Demi Omurice, Slime Meat Bun, Medal King's Small Medal Pizza, Slime Beth's Japanese-style Hamburger, and more. The drinks menu offers options like Cool Camus, Cocktail Zarakiyama, Elf's Elixir, Greyg Noir, and Flash Rydein. Each drink comes with a coaster, and the Cool Camus drink includes an "Advice Coaster". Birthday guests receive a special Birthday Plate. The food and drinks were delicious, with the Elf's Elixir being notably sweet and the Flash Rydein having a unique twist. It's recommended to try the Orange Catalana and Flash Rydein. Payment is made using PayPay at the Gold Silver Bank (receipt available). Overall, this place is a must-visit for Dragon Quest fans and those looking for a fun and unique experience. It was so much fun!٩(ˊᗜˋ*)۶

I came here by chance and found a Dragon Quest themed restaurant that is a paradise for Dragon Quest fans. Located inside Akiba's Pasela Resorts, this place operates on a reservation-only basis with a 2-hour time limit on weekends. I managed to get in for a second round through a cancelation waitlist. Highly recommended is the Golden Slime Omelette Rice with Demi-Glace Sauce (¥1,100 tax included), which is incredibly delicious with plenty of sauce and mayo. Surprisingly, the Megis Chicken Karaage (¥680 tax included) was juicy and crispy, making it a great choice for a drinking party. The Great Dragon's Scorching Jerky (¥690 tax included) had a spicy flavor that may be a bit too much for kids but pairs well with alcohol. For drinks, the Mahyadeth Smoothie (¥880 tax included) is a must-try, as it is mixed with ice cream and alcohol. Other interesting options include the Icetusk Howl (non-alcoholic, ¥730 tax included) and the Dragoram Coke (¥880 tax included). Each drink comes with a coaster featuring a Dragon Quest monster. The interior of the restaurant is designed to resemble Luida's Bar, creating a perfect atmosphere for Dragon Quest fans. I witnessed a birthday celebration where the birthday person was treated to a Slime-themed Honey Toast with plenty of whipped cream, accompanied by the level-up BGM (Parapapa) playing in the background. This would surely make any Dragon Quest fan happy on their birthday. Various electronic payment methods are accepted, so you can enjoy your time here without worrying about payment. Just being in this place is fun and enjoyable, especially for Dragon Quest fans.

I visited a restaurant that I had been interested in for a while, with a group of people, after making a reservation through the restaurant's website. The restaurant is themed after the Dragon Quest's "Luida's Bar." Inside, there are many objects that Dragon Quest fans will love, and the music playing is also from Dragon Quest's famous songs. The restaurant can seat around 15 people. We ordered dishes such as "Orange Catallena with the Mark of Erdrick," "Madhand Keema Curry," "Golden Slime Demi-Omurice," "Slime Beth Grated Japanese-style Hamburger," "Cocktail Zaraki Ma," and "How About Some Heat?" The food here is more about enjoying the atmosphere and taking photos, but overall, the taste is not bad, with dishes like Keema Curry and Hamburger being quite tasty. The drink menu has many sweet options, reflecting the world of Dragon Quest, both in appearance and taste, which is fun. When you order a drink, you receive a bag of coasters, with around 60 different designs. Collecting these coasters seems like a popular activity here. The dessert menu looks great in photos, but the taste may be a bit disappointing, lacking delicacy. Overall, I rated the taste at 3.4, adding +0.1 for the atmosphere, making it 3.5. If you have ever been a fan of Dragon Quest, it's worth visiting this restaurant at least once. Thank you for the meal!

A cafe themed around Dragon Quest, located near Akihabara Station's Electric Town exit. The biggest feature of this place is their dedication to the world view. For first-time visitors, they provide an explanation of the cafe and immerse you in a different world with their words full of love for Dragon Quest. If you're a Dragon Quest fan, you won't regret visiting. I initially went for a light meal, but the curry was delicious and they brought the dishes with Dragon Quest-themed guidance, making it all the more enjoyable. I ended up ordering a hot honey latte as well, even though it was a bit pricey, the satisfaction was well worth it. The cups are also adorable. It was just so much fun. Inside the bar, Dragon Quest music plays in orchestral sound. Drinking a latte while listening to the music from the game I'm currently playing was truly special. I definitely want to visit this place again. Thank you for the meal.

The foundation of game popularization in Japan. In the arcade, games like "Space Invaders" in the early days and the fighting game boom led by "Street Fighter II" in the 90s played a big role. When it comes to home console games, you can't talk about it without mentioning the presence of "Dragon Quest." At that time, the game industry was dominated by action and shooting games, but with the introduction of Dragon Quest, RPGs quickly became a pillar of the game genre. While the game industry was shaken globally by the "Atari Shock," Japan saw success with the hit of the Famicom console and the presence of games like Dragon Quest. It is said to be the country where home console games penetrated general households the fastest. Dragon Quest still holds a central position in the game industry today. I have so many memories related to it. - Getting a boat in Dragon Quest II and not knowing where to go next. - Getting stuck in the Scissors ×4 Hell in the desert area of Dragon Quest III. - Being traumatized by the music in Attemto in Dragon Quest IV. - Spending 3 days recruiting Guring and Robin in Dragon Quest V. - Finding solace in exploring the deep sea in Dragon Quest VI. - Mistaking the strength of the Etepomges in the Dharma Temple in Dragon Quest VII as a losing event. - Being impressed by the vast map in Dragon Quest VIII and getting beaten up by scout monsters while wandering around. These are just a few examples, and each numbering can bring back memories. Oh, and in the remake version of Dragon Quest IV, talking to Healie in Chapter 1 is so cute (ry. Now, I can't include this in a store review, so let's stop here. This is "Luida's Bar," a place that recreates the world of Dragon Quest. The name of the bar is inspired by the familiar "Luida's Bar" to fans. It used to be in Roppongi, but it moved to Akihabara inside Karaoke Pasela a while ago. It's so popular on weekends that you can't enter without a reservation, so I visited on a weekday. Being in Akihabara, the entrance is filled with Dragon Quest references. The door has the symbol of Loto on it, and the storefront and inside are full of monster plushies and figures. The Sky Sword and Metal King Sword are displayed impressively. And there's a barrel at the entrance. Oh... I feel like I want to break it. I want to break it and see if there are any mini medals inside. The menu features items and emblems from Dragon Quest, and although it was sold out, the brownie cake in Slime form was cute... The prices are displayed in Gold, with 1G being equivalent to 1 yen. If this were true, then a Chimera's Wing would be 30 yen... Isn't that too convenient? Since staying at an inn costs only tens to hundreds of yen, I wonder how the residents of the Dragon Quest world make a living (don't think too deeply about it). Below are the things I ate: - Grav Noir, a drink inspired by General Grave from Delcadar Kingdom, made of pomegranate, raspberry, purple cassis, and soda. It has a refreshing taste with a sword and cape that tickles the chuunibyou heart. By ordering a drink, you receive a coaster with a random design. I got a Chimera. - Madhand's Keema Curry, a medium-spicy keema curry on a small mound of rice. Oh... It really feels like Madhand, emerging from the ground. Madhand is represented by a tortilla. Crispy. The curry... needs a bit more richness. The staff explained to me that I should eat it before calling for reinforcements, but personally, I feel like calling for them and eating a lot (lol). - Kilari's Berry Mousse and Fondant Fromage, a fondant fromage with melting cheese and strawberry mousse ice cream inspired by the cute Kilari. The slime's form is truly divine. The creamy cheese cream with sweet and sour strawberries. - Loto's Mark Orange Catalana, a Catalana inspired by Dragon Quest III, with a crispy surface and a hint of orange acidity. After finishing it, a nostalgic command appears as a performance. The staff also adds to the fun with lines like "When you're ready, I'll come over with Rura." (Good luck on your mission).

Located about a 5-minute walk from Akihabara Station, this concept cafe inside Karaoke Pasela is a must-visit for Dragon Quest fans! This time, I just wanted to kill some time before dinner, so I kept it simple. You order through an "adventure log" (tablet). I tried the "How About Some Healing" orange calatana, the Loto's Emblem Megis Chicken Karaage, and the Street Corner Beer. The "How About Some Healing" was my personal favorite, it was so nostalgic and tasty. The dishes are all delicious and well-prepared, as you would expect from a Pasela Group establishment. The staff even explain the effects of items like the Megis Chicken Karaage (laughs). They really maintain the Dragon Quest world's atmosphere well! I had a fun and delicious time immersing myself in the world of Dragon Quest.

- The average rating is 3.0 points, with evaluations in 0.5 increments. - The total points are calculated by adding up the ratings for food/taste x4, service x2, atmosphere x2, and value for money x2, and then dividing by 10. (Alcohol/drinks are not included). - Not mentioned - It was delicious.

[Overall Impression] Located about a 5-minute walk from Akihabara Station, this dining bar is situated in an amusement building where various themed shops are gathered. "LUIDA'S BAR" is a bar that appears in various Dragon Quest series, where the protagonist experiences various encounters and farewells. This fictional bar has been brought into the real world here. From the decor to the background music, everything is filled with the world of Dragon Quest (^_^) The interior, BGM, dishes, and drinks are all created based on Dragon Quest. A must-visit for Dragon Quest fans! ----------------------------------------- After a long time, I had an offline meeting with 4 acquaintances at a Chinese restaurant in Akihabara. However, the first restaurant was somewhat mediocre, so we decided to change course (^_^;) For the second venue, at my strong request, we decided on LUIDA'S BAR. I am a big fan of Dragon Quest up to 7. This restaurant has a limit of 4 slots per day. We were able to enter just in time by calling ahead, even though we were a party of 4 standing! The restaurant is located on the 1st floor of the PASELA RESORTS AKIBA MULTI ENTERTAINMENT, a very Akihabara-like amusement building. Besides LUIDA'S BAR, it seems that various other concept shops are also located in this building, making it quite lively. There is a general reception counter where I informed them of my reservation name, and we arrived at the restaurant almost exactly at the reserved time. The atmosphere from the entrance is great (^_^) The interior of the restaurant is filled with the world of Dragon Quest, with many intricate figures of monsters and weapons and armor that appear in the story! And of course, the BGM is the music of Koichi Sugiyama, who was used in the game. Oh, this really gets you excited (^_^) When it's time, the staff gives a full explanation of the restaurant's various precautions and how to use it. It's like an amusement park. Still excited, we checked the menu with the adventure tablet (tablet). Here, too, there are plenty of Dragon Quest elements (^_^) There are plenty of dishes, sweets, and drinks featuring monsters, items, and magic from the game! The food leans towards Western cuisine, and as expected from a bar, the drinks are mainly cocktails, but there are also plenty of soft drinks. By the way, 1G (Gold) is equivalent to 1 yen in Japanese yen. This is also an important "rule." The world view must not be broken. Since we had already had a decent meal beforehand, we kept it light here. For reference, our orders were as follows. - Drinks - ・Purpunte Vodka (850G) ・Cocktail Zalaki Ma (850G) - Soft Drinks - ・Elf's Potion (650G) ・Magic Small Bottle (730G) - Food - ・Medal King's Small Medal PIZZA ~ 5 pieces ~ 960G ・Golden Slime's Demi-Omurice 1000G - Sweets - ・Oomikudzu's Brownie 740G ・Momonja's Ice Truff 850G Since this is a food review site, I'll also evaluate the food and drinks... Well, they're basically normal (^_^;) They're all exaggerated with gimmicks, but they have a decent taste. As a meal, they're surprisingly ordinary. In terms of presentation, Momonja's Ice Truff had the highest level of completion. This has nothing to do with the taste, though (^_^;) ----------------------------------------- [In Conclusion] It may seem abnormal for a middle-aged man to enthusiastically take pictures of omelet rice and sweets, but that's how it is (^_^;) This restaurant is not meant to be evaluated by the standards of a food review site. It's more like an amusement park for Dragon Quest maniacs. If you understand this and use it accordingly, it's a place where Dragon Quest fans can definitely enjoy themselves (^_^) Today's bill averaged 1510G per person. Thank you for the meal.

911-character ★ Dragon Quest's official bar with the concept of Ruida's tavern (3.04). Attempted to make a reservation for 4 people on the day, and standing room was available if needed. It seems that there is a system of time-limited entry and rotation. Familiar Dragon Quest BGM is played, and the staff interacts in a Dragon Quest style, making it enjoyable for fans. If evaluated seriously on Tabelog, it may seem like an expensive dining bar, but it's a place suitable for those who can enjoy it without worrying about the cost. Pulpun Vodka (¥850), Cocktail Zarakima (¥850), Medal King's Small Medal Pizza (5 pieces for ¥960), Golden Slime's Demi Omurice (¥1,000), Oomukashi's Brownie (¥740), Momonja's Ice Truff (¥850). Here are some brief reviews of the dishes: 【3.0】 Medal King's Small Medal Pizza (5 pieces for ¥960) - Thick dough with ketchup, cheese, and star-shaped potato chips. More like bread than pizza, with a strong presence of carbohydrates. 【3.2】 Golden Slime's Demi Omurice (¥1,000) - Ketchup rice topped with omelette, mayonnaise, and cream forming a crown. Decent demi-glace sauce and well-cooked rice and eggs. 【2.7】 Oomukashi's Brownie (¥740) - Brownie topped with chocolate cream resembling a snow-viewing daifuku. A cheap combination with mediocre taste but artistic presentation. 【2.7】 Momonja's Ice Truff (¥850) - Chocolate ice cream truffle with apricot lips and madeleine feet. The eye part, in a sheet form, can be eaten. A cheap combination with mediocre taste but high artistic points.

I used this place as a second party for an Akihabara meetup. You might not be able to enter this shop if you suddenly visit. Actually, I made a reservation by calling around the time when the first party was about to end, and they said we could enter from X:X. We waited outside the shop until the reservation time, and after a while, we were able to enter. There are various Dragon Quest characters scattered from the entrance to the inside of the shop, and the shop has a thorough design. We were guided to a standing table as a last-minute group. The shop was full. 1. Golden Slime Demi-Omurice for 1,000 yen 2. Medal King's Small Medal PIZZA - 5 pieces for 960 yen 3. Momonja's Ice Truff for 850 yen 4. Oukizuchi's Brownie for 740 yen The taste is as it looks. But isn't it cute?! The reproduction is quite impressive. They also pay attention to the drinks. Of course, they have alcohol as well as non-alcoholic cocktails. I am not a Dragon Quest fan myself, but a Final Fantasy fan, so it was very fresh for me to visit this type of shop for the first time. Thank you to the reviewers who accompanied me.

In June 2022, after a long time, I visited Akihabara. We gathered for a farewell party for my husband of 20 years. At the request of my friends, we came to this restaurant. As someone who knows nothing about Dragon Quest, I found myself in an unknown world, but I still enjoyed various aspects of it. The menu names were just too funny (laughs). Let's start with the drink names. "Icetukuwa Doh" (690 yen), "Anlucia" (840 yen), "Street Corner Beer" (750 yen), "Elf's Potion" (530 yen), "Dragon Ram Coke" (860 yen). For food, we had "Mimic Tongue Smoke" (680 yen), which indeed looked like a tongue (laughs). The "Tiny Medal Pizza" (960 yen) was very cute. The "Meat Bun" (410 yen) was also very adorable and delicious. The "Madhand Curry" (900 yen) was quite unique with the hand-shaped presentation. My friends and husband seemed to thoroughly enjoy the world of Dragon Quest. The swords displayed were impressively cool. I also have a personal blog where I write more: https://chapewo.tokyo/

There was a time when I was really into Dragon Quest, and as someone who is still actively playing DQ WALK, I always wanted to visit "Ruida's Tavern" when it was in Roppongi, but I never had the chance. However, I was able to come to the one in Akihabara. Despite the restrictions due to the pandemic, I was a bit disappointed because I couldn't move around to see the decorations or participate in any events from my designated seat. Many menu items were missing due to supply chain issues or discontinuation. Despite this, I ordered a main dish, a side dish, and of course, an alcoholic beverage. The "Golden Slime Demi Omurice" was a bit underwhelming compared to the promotional photo. The "Gigantes Club" was visually lacking and a bit tough to eat. The "Street Corner Beer" was a standard draft beer in a barrel-shaped glass. I also tried the "Cool Camus" and "Dragon Rum Coke" cocktails, which were both lacking in alcohol content. Finally, I had the "Ookizuchi Brownie," which was disappointing compared to the photo. The atmosphere with the staff shouting Dragon Quest phrases was fun, but I wished there were more engaging elements to make up for the limited experience due to the time restrictions. Overall, I was hoping for some additional touches to enhance the satisfaction, considering the unique pricing of the items.

Before the move to Akihabara, I used to visit Roppongi many times and became the Medal King. After the move, it was difficult to visit due to the impact of the coronavirus, but I finally visited again this time. During the state of emergency, alcohol was not served, and the food menu was limited. This time, I enjoyed Mad Hand's Keema Curry, Megis Chicken Karaage, and Momonja's Ice Truff. If you like Dragon Quest, all the menu items are enjoyable, and even if you're not familiar, the cute appearance and delicious taste make it a great experience.
