I have been using Yanaka Coffee a few times, mainly around Akabane, so I decided to post a review this time. It's a great place to enjoy delicious coffee at a good price for a quick time adjustment. There are many shops where you can spend time quietly and relax. In the midst of many similar coffee shops, I feel that this local coffee chain has a unique charm.

It was perfect for adjusting the time, so I had a coffee. Although it was scorching hot outside, the building I went to was cold, so I had a hot milk coffee to warm up a bit. The coffee aroma was just right, and I felt the sweetness of the milk, making me feel warm and cozy. It was the perfect amount of crowded, and I was able to sit and rest for a while.

Before going to Utsunomiya, I stopped by this cafe to pass the time. It was not very noticeable due to its location, so it was not crowded. The cafe was small, quiet, and comfortable to relax in. The staff were kind and friendly. They had a limited variety of coffee options. I wanted something sweet, so I ordered a cafe mocha.

The atmosphere is stylish with a cozy feel, and trendy music is playing. There are limited seating options, but the chairs are spaced out well enough to maintain a sense of privacy and comfort. The coffee is better than average, although it was a bit lukewarm, which was disappointing. However, my companion's iced coffee was delicious. It's a great place to relax in the station, so I recommend it.

Major coffee bean manufacturers as well as coffee bean retail stores offer delicious coffee for tasting. By providing samples, customers can experience the taste and quality of the coffee before making a purchase. If the coffee is delicious, customers are more likely to buy the beans. On the other hand, if the coffee is not good, no one will want to buy the beans. Therefore, these stores are determined to serve delicious coffee to attract customers. (laughs)

There are plenty of coffee chains out there, but this coffee chain stands out for roasting their own beans. It is probably the oldest and largest chain of its kind, with a growing number of stores in the Tokyo area. If you feel like you've seen it before, there is also a street-side store in front of Akabane Station. The Ecute store here is nice because, despite the foot traffic, it's not too crowded and you can relax. Akabane Ecute has a unique structure, where one side is bustling with people while the other side is quiet. The menu is limited to just a few baked goods, so it's a place where you can focus solely on enjoying your coffee. Their dedication to coffee bean blends and roasting, without distractions, is commendable given the current coffee scene. They have a variety of beans on display, which may be overwhelming for newcomers, so I opted for today's regular size coffee. Their style of roasting beans from scratch upon ordering is a rarity in the current "third wave" coffee movement, which has seen an increase in roasteries like Blue Bottle Coffee. The ice coffee here is surprisingly popular, and the honeycomb patterned interior with subtle background music creates a comfortable atmosphere. At just 330 yen per cup, it's a good deal for a delicious coffee in a quiet setting.

I wanted to kill some time at Akabane Station and ended up wandering around inside. I had no idea what was there since I don't usually come to Akabane. But then I caught a whiff of some good coffee and followed the scent to Yanaka Coffee! The cafe wasn't very big, but it had a nice seating area, so I didn't hesitate to go in. I tried the coffee of the day. I can't remember what beans they used, but it had a good balance of bitterness and was easy to drink. The aroma was also delightful. Despite being inside the station, the seating was comfortable and I felt really relaxed! I definitely recommend it if you want to take a break at Akabane Station.

I occasionally stop by this shop in the station, and today I bought some beans. Among the 20 varieties of green beans available, I chose two, but it took about 20 minutes, so I ended up choosing only one type from Brazil called "Komuro Special/Brazil" for 100g at 690 yen. I enjoyed the recommended roast while waiting for the beans to be roasted. The coffee had a strong roast, which may be a hit or miss for some people. I brought it home and opened it, and it had a surprisingly strong roast, almost like it could be used for iced coffee. Recently, many shops seem to prefer light roasts, but this one had a solid and quite strong roast, almost bordering on a burnt smell. I was a little worried, but when I tasted it, it was actually quite delicious. I personally prefer a slightly lighter roast, but the beans themselves were to my liking.

Akabane Station has a lot of shops and is quite lively. In the midst of it all is Yanaka Coffee Shop. I saw coffee beans being sold at the storefront and couldn't resist going in for a drink. I ordered a medium-sized café au lait for 360 yen. The coffee came out of a machine, but if I could make a request, I would love to try it as a drip coffee. Since it's a coffee bean shop, I believe it would definitely taste better as a drip coffee. Being in a station, I understand why they use a machine for convenience, but I couldn't help but wonder about this point. The cafe has both counter and table seating, and it was a peaceful place to enjoy my drink. Thank you for the meal.

I purchased a small size Vienna coffee for 350 yen. The shop itself is small, but the seats are not too close together and there aren't many customers, so I was able to relax. The coffee was strong and had whipped cream, which I liked because it was less sweet compared to Vienna coffees from other shops. However, I noticed coffee stains on the walls inside the shop, and when I sat at a vacant table, it was dirty, so I had to call a staff member to clean it. Overall, I rate it 3.5 out of 5.

I love this cup. Of course, the coffee too... I always check if it's not too crowded and go in when I can enjoy it slowly. It's a bit small!

I came here after a long time. It's convenient to stop by as it's located in the station. Today, I had iced coffee, which always has the same reliable taste. I will come back again.

I recently became interested in coffee and decided to try different varieties. I went to a coffee shop near my workplace to buy some beans. I was surprised to see that the beans on display were white. I thought they were just for show. I had just learned about it, but apparently you order the beans you want and they roast them for you. I ordered two types of beans and was told it would take about 15 minutes. I was allowed to wait inside the shop, so I sat down and waited leisurely. Looking back, I should have ordered a coffee to drink while waiting, but I was so focused on buying the beans. The staff was very polite and I would like to come back here to buy coffee beans and try something to drink next time.
