Just kidding, haha. When it comes to solo travel, it's only the first half for me. I had plans to meet up with friends in Asakusabashi at 7 pm, but I was really craving a trip to Asakusa, so I tried to convince my husband to come with me. However, he declined, so I ended up going alone. I wanted to get a purification at Sensoji Temple, but when I arrived around 2 pm, I was told that the purification ceremonies only happen twice a day, at 10 am and 2 pm. So, I missed out on that. I usually only draw a fortune once a year, but lately, I've been drawing them quite frequently. I always ask the gods and buddhas to tell me what I need to know, and the answers are always spot on. I'll include a photo of the last one for fun. This time, I received a message that really hit home. It said, "There is a risk of disaster coming to your household. However, be careful to prevent it. When branches separate, it indicates discord in the home. Therefore, things may not go smoothly. Repent for your wrongdoings and overcome this trial. If you do so, good things are likely to happen. By harmonizing your household, even more good things may come your way." It's scarily accurate... Is there more disaster coming to my family? We all need to repent for our wrongdoings. Feeling down, but also hungry. Time for a break! I visited Asakusa Taisho Roman-kan, which I had saved previously. It was a good choice! I was disappointed that the marble fruit punch I wanted was sold out, so I opted for the Shiratama Mitarashi Soft Serve for 700 yen. It was delicious, with about 5 pieces of Mitarashi dango at the bottom and soft serve on top. The Mitarashi was thick and gooey, and the whole thing was very satisfying. My stomach is full! The other customers were all ordering the High Collar Cream Soda, so I'd like to try that next time, along with the marble fruit punch. Asakusa was full of young people wearing kimonos and yukatas, so cute! I still had time until 7 pm, so I wandered around before heading to the bathhouse... To be continued...
