The place was quite spacious with a large underground area, so it seemed like they could accommodate a significant number of people. We sat at a table with a sunken area like a dug-out kotatsu. Ordering was done via tablets, and both food and drinks were served very quickly. The menu had a wide variety of reasonably priced options, making it hard to choose. The chicken rice dish takes about 30 minutes to arrive, so it's best to order it in advance.

When you come here, you can't miss trying the specialty dish. The deep-fried glove is always delicious! It's big and crispy! We went with three people, but one piece was not enough. It's a bit late to mention, but ordering with a touch panel is very convenient. In the past, there were many restaurants where you had to call out loudly saying "Excuse me!" but the staff wouldn't come. However, since touch panels have become popular, you don't need to raise your voice and the staff will come promptly. I will definitely go again.

I visited this Suntory-affiliated restaurant for the second time before watching a rugby game at Chichibu Shrine. This was my first time ordering a non-alcoholic drink at an izakaya. I started with a toast using Suntory oolong tea and enjoyed the complimentary cabbage with spicy miso. Next, I had a healthy Caesar salad. For protein, I ordered the famous crispy fried chicken karage. Finally, I had yakisoba for my carb intake. Overall, it was a perfect meal before watching the game at Chichibu Shrine.

After watching a soccer game at the National Stadium, my friend and I stopped by this restaurant. The inside was crowded, but we were able to get in right away without a reservation, probably because the Jingu Stadium game was still going on. They served dishes like seared mackerel and grilled chicken skewers quickly and they tasted great, typical of an izakaya. The staff was also very friendly and attentive.

Don't underestimate chain izakayas.

After dinner in Omotesando, my friend and I decided to go to this restaurant since we didn't feel like drinking yet. It's a chain restaurant, but I remembered it being surprisingly delicious when I went before, so we chose it when we stumbled upon it while walking. We ordered using a touch panel, so I forgot what we ordered, but the slightly heavier gyoza was really tasty! The onion slices were refreshing, almost like cleansing the palate from the first place we went to. Just with this, both the chopsticks and alcohol went down smoothly! The restaurant had a spacious interior with seating also available downstairs. I thought it wouldn't be too difficult to get a seat without a reservation due to its location. I visit Omotesando often, so I'll definitely use this restaurant again. Thank you for the meal!

After watching rugby at Chichibu Rugby Stadium, we decided to have a drink before heading home. The venue has a large capacity, so we didn't have to wait long to get in even after the event. Instead of snacks, we enjoyed a delicious fluffy Kamakura pudding for dessert.

After watching the baseball game between Waseda and Keio, I was unsure where to go for drinks as there are not many bars in the area. However, I stumbled upon MiraiZaka, which I always frequent. I checked and they were open, which was a relief. When I entered the restaurant, it was bustling with many Waseda alumni. Initially, I was shown to a private room, but they seemed to be mindful of the coronavirus situation and moved us to a different table. There was a TV showing a Waseda commemorative ceremony, which we watched while toasting with beer and Jin Beam highballs. The prices were reasonable, and being in Omotesando, it was a great spot, don't you think?

Mirazaka Aoyama Gaienmae Store I always visit this divine izakaya after the Waseda-Keio match. The food is incredibly delicious! The chicken is top-notch tasty! Even the ramen at the end is so good that you might think it's from a ramen shop! It's a popular spot that always fills up after sporting events!

I stopped by for a bite to eat before watching baseball at Jingu Stadium! The prices are reasonable and it's easy to use.

Hinata Shochu is priced in the 900 yen range per bottle. Water and ice are free, so you can drink quite cheaply if you don't order too many snacks. We used to go there a lot for drinking parties with a large group, but we visited with six people for the first time in three years due to the corona pandemic. It seems that they have taken measures such as ordering through a touch panel.

After watching a night game at the Jingu Stadium, I visited this place to have a light drink before heading home. The interior of the restaurant is quite bright and spacious. I was seated at a table in the back and used a touch panel to order my first drink. Since I had already had a lot of beer at the stadium, I decided to go with a highball. For snacks, I ordered grilled stingray fin and fatty striped jack. I also decided to order a udon bolognese for something a bit more filling. The stingray fin was average, while the fatty striped jack was quite large and had a good amount of fat. It was a good match for drinks. Surprisingly, the udon bolognese was really good. It was just regular pasta bolognese with udon noodles, but it was surprisingly tasty. I finished my drinks close to the last train and the bill came out to just over 2,000 yen for a stay of less than 2 hours. It was a cheap and pleasant way to end the night.

Mirai-zaka, a new brand from Watami, has been rapidly expanding its number of stores in recent years. The restaurants are clean, have non-smoking sections, and feature touch panel ordering systems, giving them a modern feel. It seems like every store has a large TV, which is a nice touch. As a major chain izakaya, you can trust the variety and taste of the menu. On the flip side, it's a bit generic. However, the prices are cheap, including the cost of alcohol. I ended up spending around 4,000 yen per person after drinking quite a bit. Is it okay to drink that much?

It's still new, so it feels like everyone is not used to it yet. Being a chain store, the taste is decent. The location in Aoyama is convenient.
