It's the beginning of autumn. The mornings and evenings have become quite comfortable. It's still hot during the day. I'm in Asakusa for work. I passed through Nakamise Street and headed straight to Hangetsudo, where there was already a line of about 15 people. I finally got my hands on a jumbo melon bread for 280 yen and devoured it in no time. The bread was fluffy and soft, and I can see why it's so popular.

I was planning to visit the main store, but happened to pass by this store near Sensoji Temple and it was empty, so I bought some. It was my first time buying outside the main store, and I'm grateful that I could still get freshly baked ones here!
