Today's dinner was at Narimasu "Narimasu Ichome Sakaba". Located on a side street off Kawagoe Kaido, this izakaya specializing in oden and yakitori opened in December 2022. It was my first visit. The interior had a street stall-like atmosphere with square tables and round stools with oden ingredients. It didn't feel very private. I started with the "Black Hoppy Set (500 yen)" and "Bacon Egg Potato Salad (400 yen)". Since there were no other customers, the dishes were served quickly. The Hoppy had a generous amount and the potato salad was ample, making them perfect for drinking. I ended up enjoying 4 glasses of Hoppy with just the potato salad, totaling 1,500 yen. There was no seating charge. Although it was quiet with no customers today, I wonder if it's usually lively here?
