"Cacaotique" was born from the desire to enjoy the superfood cacao not only in chocolate form, but also as a drink like tea. They offer a variety of recipes and customizable menu options where you can melt chocolate in red tea or milk, developed by their chef, to suit your mood of the day. The main store is located in Nakasu Kawabata, Fukuoka. As the first branch in Tokyo, it opened near the Barbacoa Aoyama store, just a 2-minute walk from Omotesando Station A2 exit on July 28, 2023. I was surprised by the wide variety of chocolate drinks they offer. You can choose between bitter or white chocolate as a base, and even change the milk to soy or almond. Additionally, they sell two types of mini bagels from the gluten-free specialty store "Where is dog?" in Kichijoji. The first one is a rice flour bagel for 350 yen (or 150 yen when purchased as a set with a drink). It is made of rice flour mix (rice flour (domestic), emulsifier (soy-derived), thickener (guar gum), enzyme), organic sugar, rice oil, coconut oil, mix powder (whole grain quinoa flour, whole grain sorghum flour from Nagano Prefecture, banana powder, natural salt, yeast, banana powder, glucomannan). The bagel is refrigerated, then microwaved before serving, so it is served hot. The surface is moist, and the inside is chewy and soft. The mild sweetness of the rice flour gives it a natural flavor. It's a simple taste that pairs well with the chocolate drink. Chocolate lovers should definitely give it a try!"
