The second time. There's no way it's only 3000 yen. I mean, it's a tofu shop but the salad is delicious, you know? The plum dressing has a refreshing taste without any sharpness, just pure freshness. Isn't that strange? It's a tofu shop, you know? Basically... it seems like the company is committed to doing everything properly. Everything they serve is top-notch. Like the "Jacoby and edamame rice." In my line of work, dishes with Jacoby and beans are common. They're usually cheap. But the way they handle it makes all the difference... even just adjusting the water level with care. It must be all about doing things meticulously. I want to come back again. That's all there is to it. Thank you for the meal.

It's still hot, but the menu is already transitioning to autumn! The welcome drink is grape. It's a bit sweet, but tasty! The soup has a hollowed out turnip with small strips of fish tightly packed inside. It's so delicious... The broth has a smooth texture and the chrysanthemum flower adds a nice touch. Oh, what happiness. The salad is made with duck! Duck! And mushrooms. It feels like autumn. Enjoying it with ginger dressing. And finally, the highlight - mackerel rice! I had my first taste of mackerel this year, and let me tell you, it was amazing! The aroma alone was powerful. Knockout. Of course, it was incredibly delicious! I'll definitely work hard to make a reservation again!

I attended a breakfast gathering starting at 9am, invited by a friend. Notable seasonal dishes included grape soy milk juice, turnip and mushroom soup with chrysanthemum, duck salad with ginger dressing, and Pacific saury rice. Despite the scorching heat of over 30 degrees in mid-September, the arrival of Pacific saury gave a hint of autumn. I enjoyed plenty of yuba (tofu skin) again this time. Grateful to my friend for the invitation.

My husband and I went to a Yuba kaiseki restaurant! Unfortunately, the Yuba lifting was canceled, maybe due to infection prevention measures, which was a bit disappointing... but I was grateful to be able to eat to my heart's content as before☻ Personally, the edamame and dried baby sardines rice, shrimp shinjo soup, white peach soy milk juice, nama-fu dengaku, and fu manju were particularly delicious. The salad dressing didn't overpower with plum flavor, allowing the sweetness of corn to stand out and taste delicious♪ But the tai and zucchini in the salad were too thick and difficult to eat (;^ω^) My husband usually only eats meat, but he seemed satisfied with plenty of rice refills, which was good♡ I hope to visit again sometime soon☻

This is a popular and fully booked yuba kaiseki restaurant that my friend managed to make a reservation for, so I had the pleasure of dining there. The yuba dishes were truly delicious, and they offered a variety of ways to enjoy it. The prices were also reasonable, almost making me feel guilty. It's no wonder why it's so hard to get a reservation here. I don't know when I'll be able to visit again, but I truly hope to return to this restaurant.

The May menu starts with a mango drink, which is deliciously sweet and refreshing. The soup dish is white fish and egg tofu in a good broth with the aroma of wood leaves. The salad is grilled eel with a refreshing green apple dressing. The grilled eel is not too oily and easy to eat. The rice dish has a perfect saltiness for this season. Another satisfying meal this month! Full and satisfied!

I didn't have any specific plans for Golden Week, so I made a reservation in advance. Luckily, I was able to book a table for 12 o'clock as I had hoped. I had mango soy milk juice, three types of yuba, soup, salad (the green apple dressing was excellent), freshly made tofu, grilled dish, edamame rice, and dessert. In addition, there was all-you-can-eat scooped yuba, which was delicious when sprinkled with rock salt. I went back for seconds about 4 times and was satisfied, so I only had one more serving of edamame at the end. It's amazing that the prices haven't gone up during these times. The rice used to have fish like yellowtail, but this time it was edamame rice. Maybe they are trying to maintain the price at this level? Still, the total of 3000 yen including tax for this meal was astonishing.

To put it simply, it's a favorite of mine. I'm not a fan of rice dishes with fried tofu in them, but if it's silky and smooth, then it's a different story! Delicious... mesmerizing. The burnt rice is the best, right? The spring-colored soup with cherry snapper is also delightful. A comforting broth with clams and scallops in a salad is yummy. It was a luxurious brunch! Thank you for the meal!

I enjoyed a Yayoi vegetarian meal with yuba (tofu skin) kaiseki, starting with apple and soy milk juice. The meal included yuba with olive oil and soy sauce, yuba sashimi with soy sauce, yuba with soy sauce and sweet bean paste, and lemon with rock salt. The meal also featured a soup with cherry snapper and edamame tofu, a salad with spring vegetables and shellfish, and tofu dishes. The main course was bamboo shoot rice with red miso soup and kombu tsukudani. For dessert, I had warabi mochi and fu manju. The meal was a celebration of spring vegetables, enjoyed with the seasonal flavors of bitterness. Thank you to my friend for inviting me to this wonderful dining experience!

Finally visited the long-awaited Uzuki Nino main store!!! It all started with a comparison tasting of three types of yuba, and every dish that came out had a refined and high-quality taste. I was able to fully enjoy yuba and nama-fu, which I don't usually eat. The freshly made tofu and yuba were delicious, but what surprised me was the nama-fu dessert. The unique texture that can only be felt with nama-fu. I want everyone to try it at least once in their lifetime. It's sad that it's hard to make a reservation and it seems like I won't be able to go for a while.

As soon as I entered, I was greeted by the wonderful aroma of dashi broth, and the interior had a calming Japanese atmosphere. The staff began explaining the dishes as each group of customers arrived, showing us the ingredients they would be using, such as tofu. We enjoyed a variety of tofu dishes, including yuba and freshly made tofu, all of which were delicious. The yuba sashimi had three levels of texture, and the miso soup was so comforting that I wanted seconds. Every dish, including the tofu salad, left us completely satisfied. Despite having eaten a lot, I still felt incredibly content. Reservations are hard to come by, with a waiting list of up to two months, and the restaurant is only open on weekends, so make sure to plan ahead. If you have the opportunity to dine here, you will definitely enjoy a meal that makes you grateful to be Japanese. It's a course full of umami that leaves you feeling completely satisfied. I understand why it's difficult to make a reservation now... The tofu is really delicious and you can eat plenty of it for 3000 yen. The restaurant currently only has the first floor open, with a capacity of about 20 people. The staff are very friendly and serve plenty of yuba. From start to finish, I was completely satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

Starting with a strawberry drink, followed by three types of yuba and crab shinjo. Oh my, so delicious! Not only in taste, but visually appealing as well. And the salad with mushrooms, smoked salmon, and black beans is just irresistible! Originally planned to have yellowtail rice, but changed to sea bream today! Sea bream, can you believe it?! The aroma alone was amazing. There's no way it could taste bad! To put it mildly, it was the best. Every bite was delicious from corner to corner... pure bliss.

This month's dinner was scallops!!! I've been to Uzukino many times, but this was one of the best dishes I've ever had... Drink was a pear. The slight carbonation made it very refreshing. The aroma wafts through the nose. It would definitely separate if made at home... The salad was duck! I usually associate this place with fish, but this was incredibly delicious. I wonder if December will be all about meat... It was extremely tasty. Cheers.

This is a restaurant that offers all-you-can-eat tofu kaiseki meals only on weekends. It is located about a 5-minute walk from Kitasenju Station. The traditional Japanese house has a lovely exterior with a historical feel. The interior is stylish and chic. I tried the 3000 yen course. The meal included: - Appetizer: Western pear and soy milk juice - Appetizer: Three types of yuba (tofu skin): flat yuba, sashimi yuba, simmered yuba. Each had a different texture and sweetness. You could add soy sauce and olive oil, soy sauce paste, or lemon rock salt to your liking. - Soup: Ebiimo (taro) and kudzu soup with shrimp potato, duck meatballs, princess chingensai, and yuzu. The kudzu soup had a smooth texture with a thickening agent. The sticky shrimp potato was delicious! - Salad: Winter root vegetables and duck loin salad with red core daikon, yellow carrots, lotus root, tomato, pomegranate, and paprika dressing. The lotus root was fried into chips. The tender duck loin was moist and soft, providing a satisfying meal. - Tofu: Freshly made tofu. The warm, smooth tofu had a great taste and texture. - Grilled dish: Namafu (wheat gluten) dengaku with sesame fu. Served with miso sauce and sprinkled with yuzu. The chewy texture of the namafu was irresistible. - Main dish: Scallop rice with red miso soup and simmered kelp. Served fresh from the pot. The rich flavor of the scallop spread in the mouth, offering an elegant taste. - Dessert: Warabi mochi (bracken-starch dumpling) and fu manju (wheat gluten bun). The warabi mochi was warm and freshly made, coated with plenty of soybean flour. The fu manju had sweet red bean paste inside, with a pleasant mugwort flavor. - After-meal: Coffee. Although it was all-you-can-eat tofu, the course had a generous portion, leaving me full without needing seconds. The 3000 yen price including tax was a good deal. The yuba and tofu dishes were delicious. I would love to come back for a healthy lunch if I can make a reservation again!

Lunch set only available by phone reservation for 3000 yen. The pear soy milk juice was just okay. The yuba three ways dish had a firm texture, the sashimi was tender as usual, and the simmered dish was creamy and sweet, which I liked. The taro and kudzu starch duck meatball was not very impressive. The broth was good, but the kudzu flavor was lacking. The fried yuba was chewy and I liked that you could have seconds. The tofu salad was smooth and had a fine texture, different from what I expected for tofu salad. The paprika dressing was soft and good. The duck was not memorable. The scallop cooked rice was average, and I didn't care for the kelp side dish. The red miso soup didn't stand out. The steamed wheat gluten dumpling had smooth wheat gluten with sweet red bean paste. The bracken rice cake had weak sweetness and the cinnamon was overpowering, the roasted soybean flour had a strong taste. Despite being freshly made, it felt lacking. Overall, I wouldn't revisit this restaurant.

I made a reservation for August 1st. After calling about 100 times, I finally got through! So, it was finally time for the long-awaited lunch. The course menu was 3000 yen and only available by reservation. The restaurant is not very big, so it can't be helped. I headed to the restaurant with excitement! I had high expectations, but to my surprise, the food exceeded my expectations. It was amazing. The menu for today included: - Pear and soy milk juice as an appetizer - Three kinds of yuba (tofu skin): flat yuba, sashimi yuba, and boiled yuba - Duck meatball and turnip soup - Fried tofu with miso sauce (made from millet and sesame tofu) - Freshly made tofu - Yellowtail and root vegetable salad - All-you-can-eat boiled yuba - Yellowtail rice with red miso soup - Warabi mochi (bracken rice cake) - Fu manju (wheat gluten steamed bun) - Coffee The duck meatball and turnip soup was unforgettable. The turnip was white and slightly firm when picked up with chopsticks, but when you take a bite, it's surprisingly soft with the flavorful broth spreading in your mouth. The duck meatball was also soft and flavorful, topped with yuzu, green onion, carrot for a beautiful presentation. It was the best soup I've ever had in my life. The salad was also amazing with yellowtail, red daikon radish, sweet potato chips, shiitake mushrooms, ginkgo nuts, pomegranate, red maple wheat gluten, and a yuzu pepper dressing. Each ingredient was delicious, and the dish was outstanding. The freshly made tofu and boiled yuba were served in real-time, and you could enjoy them fresh. The dessert warabi mochi was made in front of you, and it was served warm. The kinako (roasted soybean flour) had a subtle sweetness, making it a sophisticated dessert. Lastly, the coffee was one of the best I've ever had, making it a memorable and delicious lunch. If I had one wish, it would be to have more drink options like beer and sake instead of just hojicha (roasted green tea) and the juice served before the meal. It would make the dining experience even better. Nevertheless, it was a delicious meal that made me very happy. Thank you for the wonderful meal. By the way, there is a deli shop called Uzuki no Kiyo located in the Marui department store basement in Kita-Senju. You can always buy their delicious side dishes there!

It's autumn. The menu is truly autumn-themed. Even though it's still hot outside. It started with grape juice, followed by yuba, turnip and shrimp soup. Duck and mushroom salad with ginger dressing. I had my first saury of the year. It feels great when you get a crispy rice crust. It was delicious this month too!

This was my first visit in the summer. The soup had conger eel in it. The salad had eel in it as well, giving it a different feel for the summer. The dressing also varied depending on the time. I usually don't eat yuba, but I was able to have seconds. Normally, you have to make your own yuba, but due to COVID, they bring it to you when you ask for seconds. It's healthy, but filling.
