The cold noodles are easier to eat when they are thin and the ingredients are finely chopped. This restaurant's cold noodles are just like that! It's my favorite cold noodles (^-^) You can choose between sesame sauce and soy sauce, but I recommend the sesame sauce! (It costs an extra 50 yen) This summer, I tried the sesame sauce cold noodles for the first time and added a half fried rice set, which made it even more delicious. + ¥450 The half fried rice set comes with self-service iced coffee. This was also a first for me! For some reason, today was full of firsts! (The cold noodles are served without cucumbers, which I dislike)

I usually have a set order, but chilled Chinese noodles are a special treat only in the summer, so I feel they have a certain value. This year's first chilled Chinese noodles, I usually prefer sesame dressing but this time I tried the basic soy sauce flavor. I asked for no cucumbers, which I don't like. Hmm, even the soy sauce flavor is delicious enough (^-^) I also tried the pork cutlet rice bowl. It was tasty, but it doesn't compare to fried rice. Another dish that never disappoints is the omelette. I always look forward to it. I like that it has chopped naruto inside!

The fried rice in the Chinese wok has a strong flavor, maybe because of the strong heat. It's not exactly like ketchup-flavored fried rice, but it has a similar feel. The spring rolls with squid are even more delicious when you chew them well. The omelette is fluffy and different from a regular omelette. It has ham, char siu, naruto, and finely chopped green onions, making it tasty. The stir-fried vegetables have a good seasoning that goes well with alcohol. Most importantly, they have Hoppy, which is great because you can drink it without worrying about purines!

Half fried rice costs 400 yen, but if you add 50 yen more, you can get a half fried rice set which comes with a mini salad and dessert. So, it's better to get the set! I ordered chilled noodles with soy sauce and the half fried rice set. I usually eat sesame sauce, but when I added vinegar, the soy sauce tasted pretty good too! It's amazing how a small change can make a big difference in taste. The half fried rice is served in a bright blue rimmed dish that looks beautiful every time I see it. Of course, the taste is great too. Each grain is coated in delicious oil and has a slightly sweet taste. I think the fried rice at this restaurant is especially delicious. Before the season ends, I should try comparing the chilled noodles with sesame sauce and vinegar added. Hmm, maybe it's better not to add vinegar to the sesame sauce?

On the last day of summer vacation, I had dinner here! I enjoyed spring rolls and stir-fried vegetables as appetizers, drinking Hoppy while reminiscing about the memories of summer. The spring rolls had squid inside and crispy skin, delicious when dipped in ketchup mixed with mustard and a little vinegar. The stir-fried vegetables were tasty with plenty of pepper, perfect with Hoppy! For the main dish, I had the daily special: ginger pork for around 800 yen. It came with homemade yogurt and a surprise - a pre-cut spoon from my elementary school days! It brought back nostalgic memories. These spoons were common in the 1960s and 1970s but disappeared due to concerns about chopstick skills and chipped teeth. I remember struggling to eat soft noodles with it. Although it was a bit big for the yogurt, it was a nice touch. Thank you for the nostalgia!

It has been two years since I last had the chilled sesame noodles at Nitto. Their chilled noodles with soy sauce are delicious, but I personally think the sesame noodles are even better! The sweetness and fragrance of the sesame are exquisite. The sesame sauce is smooth in texture, yet has a grainy feel that blends well with the noodles. And sometimes they even top it with pineapple, adding a tropical twist to the taste. So, during that time, Omejima becomes a tropical island! (^-^)!

It has been two years since I last had the cold sesame noodles at Nittou. The cold noodles here are delicious with soy sauce, but I personally think the sesame sauce is even better! The sweetness and fragrance of the sesame are perfectly balanced. The viscosity of the sauce is just right, and it mixes well with the noodles. I adjust the flavor to be more adult-like by gradually adding mustard. Enjoy the summer with a slightly spicy sesame sauce. At this time, Nittou becomes a summer resort! (^-^)!

On a regular night around 7:15 pm, there were still seats available at the restaurant. It was quite busy with a modern atmosphere, and there were also solo female diners. I ordered the Pork Saute for ¥850, a set meal for ¥200, and Vegetable Soup for ¥460. The Vegetable Soup was a creamy soup with plenty of vegetables, rich and delicious. The Pork Saute was like a pork chop, made with pork loin. It was small but had good quality meat. The special ketchup-based sauce was excellent, with a taste I liked. It seems like you can't go wrong with anything you order here. The bustling atmosphere of the restaurant is understandable.

After enjoying spring rolls and stir-fried vegetables with Hoppy, I decided to order Dan Dan noodles for the first time in a long time. Oh, it seems like it has changed a lot since last time? The flavor is light... It needs more sweetness from sesame and assertiveness from chili peppers to truly be Dan Dan noodles! The chopped green onions are not even hiding under the meat miso. Maybe it's because it's been six years since I last had it, but this dish is completely different from what I remember (>人<;) I tried adding chili oil to see if it would help, but the flavor of the Dan Dan noodles just didn't come together.

At Chukadaihigashi, you can get champon for 650 yen. It is similar to tantanmen, made with vegetables and meat instead of seafood.

I tried various types of noodles that I had never eaten before. The most interesting one was the cold Chinese noodles. First of all, it had pineapple in the toppings (^_^) and there was soy sauce and sesame, with sesame being 50 yen more expensive. I didn't really notice the presence of pineapple, but I felt that the noodles were smoother with the sesame. The noodles here had a slightly rough texture, sometimes more noticeable than others. Overall, sesame won in terms of the sauce's flavor and the smoothness of the noodles. The meat soba had a lack of meaty texture and couldn't compare to the leek soba. The leek and bean sprouts were stir-fried and delicious! The oil-soaked leeks were great, giving a sense of stir-fried leek and liver. Furthermore, I felt that the noodles in the leek soba were smoother than in the meat soba. If you're hungry, I recommend the leek soba with half rice set. Also, the reason why there was no cucumber in the cold Chinese noodles was because I don't like it, so I asked for it to be removed (^^;

I thought I had been to this restaurant quite a bit, but surprisingly there were still menu items I hadn't tried. I decided to order the Shumai and Char Siu. The Shumai was made in a heavier style called "niku shumai" with a strong flavor. It was solid and satisfying to eat. The Char Siu was probably the roasted pork that they put in ramen, stir-fried and served. Unfortunately, the taste was so-so. If I were to order again in the future, it would be the Shumai. It seems like it would go well with a draft beer!

I have been coming to this restaurant for a few years now, and I just discovered this menu item for the first time! I have tried their curry and ramen before, but the curry ramen was a first for me. The curly noodles were firm and the curry sauce was delicious, creating a great collaboration of flavors! I found it even more delicious than just curry or ramen on their own. The spring rolls we ordered had squid in them, which was a unique twist. The texture of the roll was enjoyable to eat, and the dipping sauce provided (probably a mix of medium sauce and ketchup) was tasty. Adding some chili to the sauce and dipping the spring rolls in it made for a very delicious combination.

Chuka Ryori Nichi To (Restaurant) is a small restaurant located just to the right after exiting the Umejima Station on the Tokyo Skytree Line. It may be easy to miss as the exterior of Izakaya Hamayaki Tarou Umejima stands out more when you get off at Umejima Station at night. The entrance to Nichi To, a cozy little restaurant, is located to the right of Coffee Charyurudo and further to the right of Izakaya Hamayaki Tarou Umejima. The interior of the restaurant is bright, very clean, and has a calming atmosphere. When I ordered a beer, it came with a small dish of pickles, which was a pleasant surprise. I tried the Gomokuyaki (stir-fried noodles with vegetables) listed at the bottom of the noodle menu and found that it paired well with beer.
