Two weeks later. "Kotobuki" →. Last time, we had a casual conversation about how "I love sour and salty umeboshi more than the sweet ones these days." This time when I visited, she said, "I have prepared something for you." It was a conversation about me, a drunken person who might come at any time... This kind of thing really makes me happy. I planned to have just one drink and go home, but it didn't turn out that way (;^_^A I tried the rock seaweed tofu that I was curious about → delicious! Ah, I really like it here. There is a tatami area, but I think the best way to enjoy this place is alone or with up to three people at the counter.………………………………………………………………Early August 2012. After trying a bit at "Sakeniku Takeuchi," I wandered around looking for a cozy place that suited my taste. The entrance with Tsugaru dialect written on it and the characters of Sakae River that I like attracted me to enter. There are about 10 counter seats and two 4-person seats in a raised area. The analog TV gives a nice vibe. Sakae River offers sake at room temperature, hot sake, and cold sake. The room temperature sake comes in a masu cup that seems to be about 1 go. The mama in kimono and the other lady in a kitchen apron were kind and talked to me as if I had known them for a long time. It was instantly enjoyable. The menu surprisingly has a variety of options. The person next to me recommended the shumai, and the yakitori is priced at 150 yen per skewer with about 6 varieties. I was intrigued by the rock seaweed tofu and homemade osinko, but I ordered the mountain topping for 500 yen. It was a nostalgic and heartwarming scene. The mama said, "Here you go," passing it over the counter... My childhood enemy, raw quail egg. I mentioned that I didn't like it, so she said, "I'll make it again." "I'm sorry, I should have said it from the beginning." "It's my fault for not asking." The exchange of apologies. "Well, then, I'll take it." said the regular customer next to me. "I'm sorry." I like this kind of interaction. Freshly grated yamaimo... It's delicious. After drinking about 4-5 go, I had a great time. Even though it was my first time, I felt relaxed like a regular customer. When I left, I received the restaurant's business card, which had a loyalty point card on the back. Alright! I'll come here when I feel like drinking in Narimasu.
