This place seems to sell more variety in toppings rather than focusing on the curry itself. Plus, the price is very reasonable. Additionally, students get a 100 yen discount by showing their student ID, and even if you buy from the vending machine, you get cash back. I went to HUNGRY CURRY BY100 Jikan Curry Kanda store, located right by Kanda Station. The store is along the Kanda Nishiguchi Shotengai, and you purchase a meal ticket from the ticket machine outside before entering. We ordered the following: Hungry Curry with Croquette Curry + Topping A (Popeye & Cheese), Green Salad, Coca-Cola. The concept of the restaurant is to satisfy those who are really hungry, and I can say that we were 100% satisfied. The Hungry Curry is a recommended menu, with garlic-flavored special sauce stir-fried pork and egg on top. The pork and egg alone were so flavorful that you could enjoy it over and over again. The Croquette Curry with Popeye & Cheese was amazing, the melted cheese was the best. This combination couldn't go wrong! The curry sauce has a sweet and savory flavor that I really liked as someone who doesn't enjoy overly spicy curries. If you want more spiciness or want to change the flavor, there are spices and sauces on the table for you to try. I personally tried adding fried garlic to my salad and curry, and it added a nice crispy texture and garlic flavor. For a restaurant targeted towards young people, the default portion is not large, so customers should choose the right portion for themselves. After work, I met up in Kanda and walked straight down the Nishiguchi shopping street for 2 minutes to arrive at 100 Hours Curry in Kanda. The concept of this place is to satisfy people who are 100% hungry. They achieved the Kanda Curry Grand Prix V2. Along this street, there were quite a number of shops lined up. My choice was the Mega Hungry Curry for 1,190 yen, with additional toppings of pork cutlet for 300 yen and hamburger for 220 yen. Since I didn't have much time to eat slowly during the day, I went for the greedy option with 5 different toppings. The curry itself was mild with a mild level of spiciness. The more you eat, the spicier it doesn't get, but rather falls into the sweet category. My friend chose the Omurice Curry with a soft-boiled egg for 770 yen, with an additional topping of spinach for 120 yen. It looked more like Omurice than curry. Even if you're not in the mood for curry, they have Omurice, so it's recommended even if you're not specifically looking for curry.

As the name suggests, this is a second brand of 100-Hour Curry created with the concept of satisfying people who are extremely hungry. This restaurant has won the famous "Kanda Curry Grand Prix" twice. There are a wide variety of curry and topping options, so I had a hard time choosing. I recommend the Hungry Curry and the Om Curry with a runny egg (I doubled the meat topping for the Hungry Curry). The curry is rich in color and uses the base of the original 100-Hour Curry. Even without the curry, the fluffy and soft egg in the Om Curry is delicious! It's tasty, cheap, and has a good portion size!

Hungry Curry (Double Meat). On the 29th of every month, the meat is doubled. The Hung Curry has a strong combination of the mildness of the egg and the sweetness of the meat fat, with less curry sauce than expected, so the curry flavor is not very prominent. The sauce looks like demi-glace with a thick and deep flavor. The meat, which is probably pork belly, is quite fatty and sweet. With double the amount of meat, you'll be very satisfied with the quantity. With such a strong sweetness and fat in the meat, it might be better to eat it as a meat bowl without curry, or simply with curry rice. The interior of the restaurant is quite narrow, and only male customers were present during my visit. It's nice that you can serve yourself the Fukujinzuke (pickles). After buying a ticket from the vending machine, you hand it to the staff and then pick up your order when your number is called. If you use PayPay, the system seems to be different.

I purchased the "Ireisu x 100 Hour Curry Collaboration Set" from the ticket vending machine outside the store and entered. Since it was a counter seat-only restaurant, I chose a seat and sat down. I received a glass of water on the counter table at the back, self-service. After waiting for about 2 minutes, my ordered curry was ready, and I went to pick it up. The appearance was very appealing, with the curry color matching my preference. The rice had meat and egg yolk on top, which was a nice touch. I started with a simple salad, followed by the main dish. The curry had a good balance of various spices, making it easy to eat without any particular spice standing out. It was delicious. However, the amount of curry was a bit on the lighter side compared to the rice. If you want to fully enjoy the curry, I recommend adding "Extra Curry" or "Extra Large Curry" to your order for a more satisfying experience.

I went to Kanda to eat katsu curry. It was something I had always wanted to try, so I was very happy. I went during lunchtime and was able to enter the restaurant smoothly. I ordered the katsu curry and it came out in about 3 minutes. There were many toppings available, so next time I want to customize and make a delicious curry.

I finally infiltrated the curry mecca Kanda ✌️✨ I visited HUNGRY CURRY, which has won the Curry Grand Prix. I, being greedy, ordered the Special Curry with tons of toppings and added cheese on top, creating a devilishly voluminous curry. My friend ordered the Omelette Curry with spinach and cheese toppings ✨ The curry sauce has a rich flavor and is really delicious, but it's not too heavy, so even with all these toppings, I was able to eat quite a bit. Even with such a generous amount of toppings, it only cost around 1200 yen, which was really surprising! They also offer options without toppings starting from 490 yen. You can also enjoy flavor variations with table spices and garlic chips. Located just a 2-minute walk from Kanda Station, this shop has only a counter but serves authentic curry quickly. I visited the restaurant around 2:00 PM on Saturday. Despite it being past lunchtime, the place was packed. It was clear how popular this place is. I ordered the Hungry Curry (recommended on the menu) with a topping of spinach and cheese, along with Oolong tea. Even though the restaurant was almost full, my order came out quickly. The rich-colored curry had a deep and complex flavor, indicating it was made with care. It was rich and delicious! The meat was perfectly thick and hearty, and the egg was wonderfully runny. The spinach and cheese topping on the curry was a nice touch. You could also add spicy spices or garlic for a different taste. Everything blended together perfectly, making it a satisfying dish. The portion size and taste for the price were great. I can see why they won the Curry Grand Prix V2. The restaurant isn't very big, but the bright colors and open atmosphere gave it a clean and welcoming feel. I would definitely like to visit again.

While thinking about heading home early, I ended up giving up on my expedition and heading to Kanda. As I was walking towards another restaurant, I was drawn into this place that was prominently displaying "Meat Day". The other restaurant would probably be the same whenever I go, but it seems like "Meat Day" won't be happening for a while. This place is a spin-off of the "100-hour Curry" shop. I don't really have any complaints, but it seems like many curry shops in Kanda and Jimbocho expand their businesses after winning the Kanda Curry Grand Prix. This place seems to be one of them. What sets it apart is the menu that emphasizes "meat". Their signature dish is the "Hungry Curry" topped with stir-fried pork, and on "Meat Day" the amount of meat is doubled. So, I opted for the 1.5 times larger "Extra Rice" with the Hungry Curry. When I handed over the food ticket, I was told that the amount of meat on top would be doubled, which I assume means it's triple the usual amount. As expected, the overwhelming sight of meat covering the large portion of rice when they added what seemed to be triple the usual amount of meat. It ended up having a yakiniku bowl-like feel, but it was actually quite good. The seasoning of the meat itself was great, and it paired well with the curry or even when eaten on its own. However, if you opt for extra rice, it's best to also get extra curry sauce, as the feeling of satisfaction from eating the curry tends to diminish halfway through. Honestly, it feels more like receiving the cooked meal after handing over the food ticket, with a street food-like atmosphere and not much in terms of service or a pleasant atmosphere. But when you need a stamina boost or a hearty meal, this curry shop is quite good. I may not be actively exploring curry shops, so my perspective may be biased, but I don't recall having much luck with curry shops that go all out on the meat overload route. So, I might feel like coming back here again at some point.

The restaurant has only counter seating, but the turnover is quick, making it perfect for a quick curry lunch.

I entered the restaurant at 1:15 PM. There was one customer ahead of me. I ordered the Hungry Hamburger Curry. The service was very fast. However, the taste wasn't as good as I remembered. Maybe the fried food was better than the hamburger. I also forgot to mention that they didn't include potato salad. Of course, the curry was still delicious, but I felt like there was less curry sauce.
