Tomorrow is mountain climbing, the third mountain this year. The previous two mountains were perfect climbs, and my wife was beaming with pride. So, this year's main goal is Mt. Shari. We stayed overnight and will start climbing early in the morning. The day before, the clouds were low near the mountain base, and I thought it might not be a good day. But my wife, always positive, said, "Remember how it was with Mt. Meakan? Don't worry." In the end, it was a climb in the clouds with drizzle and windy conditions near the summit. It was a tough climb, as expected from a mountain. I wasn't looking forward to stream climbing because I didn't want to get wet, but it turned out to be quite interesting. And, isn't the descent supposed to be easier than the ascent? Well, not with Mt. Shari. The return was tougher. Exhausted, we saw a cafe on the way back that we had never seen before. We made a promise to visit after taking a bath. It was a day off, right? I checked and found out that they are closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. We arrived at the shop at 2:55 PM, just before closing. I thought I would only have a drink, but my wife was already hungry. We were seated at a table, and I asked if they could serve meals. The staff checked with the kitchen and said they could make most items except for Doria. I ordered an iced coffee, and my wife ordered a hamburger plate. The coffee beans could be chosen from three types, and I chose Guatemala. The coffee was made with care, and the taste was as expected. The coffee shop seems to have a strong commitment to their coffee. The BGM was pleasant with Western music playing at a moderate volume. The hamburger plate was made with homemade vegetables from a local farm. The vegetables were delicious, and the hamburger had a strong garlic sauce. The meat was not very juicy but held its own against the strong sauce. My wife was impressed by the delicious vegetables. She said, "The vegetables are so good, as expected from freshly picked ones." The owner recommended a coffee bean shop that is only open on weekends. We will visit that shop soon. This person was so nice that it made me like Kiyosato even more. I felt a little uplifted.
