This restaurant is located a 5-6 minute walk from Nishi-Eifuku Station on the Keio Inokashira Line, towards Shibuya along Inokashira Street. They have been in business for 14 years. My family has been going there since it was a new store, and today is probably our 50th visit. We came here today at the request of my child who is now a working adult. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, we relied on their takeout service a lot. Please continue to thrive in this area for a long time. The cheese naan here is amazing. I always end up ordering it reflexively along with a drink without even looking at the menu. I thought we had tried almost all the dishes on the menu, but it seems there are new ones? The "Malai Kebab" - chicken cooked in cream - was delicious. Along with the usual tandoori chicken and tom yum noodles, we were very satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

The curry was decently delicious. It was good that there were 2 pieces of mutton in it. Usually, in these kinds of restaurants, they only put in 1 piece. You can only get one serving of naan. I thought it was all-you-can-eat, so I wish they had mentioned that at the beginning. It was very delicious and fragrant, so I was a little disappointed.笑

I happened to pass by this shop and decided to go in. There were many interesting menu items, so I ordered 5 dishes. The portions were generous, and even sharing with another person, we were both full. Everything was delicious, and I found myself curious about other menu items. I especially liked the Malai Kebab. The atmosphere of the shop was comfortable with subtle attention to detail. Takeout seems like a good deal too, so I would like to visit again.

Located in Nishi-Eifuku, Tokyo. Working from home and exploring bento lunches. Despite the challenges of working from home, I have been enjoying trying out different local restaurants. This Nepalese restaurant is situated along Inokashira Street, between Eifukucho Station and Nishi-Eifuku Station. It may seem a bit out of the way, especially with a Honda dealership nearby, but it has managed to thrive. I'm not entirely sure of the difference between Nepalese and Indian cuisine, but I assume it's mostly about curry. I opted for the Curry Bento C for 680 yen. Dining in would cost around 1000 yen, but bento boxes typically range from 500 to 700 yen. I chose the mutton curry. I personally enjoy mutton, but my wife doesn't, so I rarely get to indulge in it. The staff, likely Nepalese, served authentic-tasting curry. You can also choose the level of spiciness. The naan was conveniently cut for the bento box and the tandoori chicken had a great flavor. It was a delicious meal. Thank you.

Before the stay-at-home order was issued, around spring this year, I used this restaurant for Saturday lunch. I had been curious about this place every time I passed by Inokashira Street. However, whether it was a weekday or weekend, there were many bicycles parked in front of the store, and the store was crowded all day, as you could see the hustle and bustle from outside. Knowing it was a popular place, I headed there 30 minutes before the lunch opening. Already, there were about five groups waiting in line. After the opening, we were able to enter all at once, but the three of us were guided to the second floor. There were four table seats and two sunken kotatsu tables. Since we were the only ones using them, the staff had a lot to do, from showing us the menu and serving water to taking our order, bringing the dishes, and asking if we wanted seconds. Now, about the taste, I ordered the butter chicken curry. It had a rich and mellow sauce with a proper amount of spices to taste. The naan was also surprisingly large, soft, satisfying to eat, and I even had seconds. When riding the Inokashira Line and in the mood for curry, be sure to enjoy a culinary delight.

This is a restaurant that suddenly appears about a 10-minute walk from Nishieifuku Station. This area is quite barren when it comes to curry shops, so there are not many specialized curry places around here. When you enter the restaurant, you'll find a slightly spacious interior with a few customers already seated. The menu offers Indian curry and Thai cuisine. I ordered the mutton curry lunch set. Upon tasting it, I found the flavor to be quite delicious. I wasn't expecting much since the menu clearly indicated it was a Nepalese-style restaurant, but the curry was surprisingly tasty. While there weren't any significant differences in flavor compared to other Nepalese-style curries, the seasoning was done well. I even started to imagine that maybe the taste had evolved slightly due to exposure to Japanese cuisine. The restaurant had a steady stream of customers coming in, so it seems like a well-known spot among the locals. A unexpectedly delicious curry. Thank you for the meal.

I visited for lunch on a regular day. I ordered the shrimp curry from the lunch set menu. The curry that came out was bland and unsatisfying. It felt like eating curry on a hangover morning. The naan was not very tasty either. The lassi that came with it didn't leave an impression. I will not be returning.

Introduced by a colleague at work, I have been enjoying Nepalese cuisine at this restaurant for 4 years now. Among all the Thai and Nepalese restaurants I have visited, this is my favorite!! The curry here is made to suit Japanese taste, rich and creamy, and you can choose the level of spiciness, so even those who are not good with spicy food can enjoy it. My favorites are butter chicken, chicken, keema, and mutton curry. I was surprised when I first tried the mutton curry here as it had no gamey taste at all!! The large naan bread is slightly sweet, and it goes well with slightly spicy curry (^o^)/* Also, the garlic tikka that comes with the evening set is really delicious and addictive (>_<)♡ Highly recommended!! Ordering the set with garlic tikka will give you a generous portion, so you will be full! Pad Thai, pho chicken, and basil fried rice are also delicious~♪ The owner is friendly and welcoming, always refilling your water with a smile. I haven't been able to go recently, but now I'm craving for Pad Thai...♡ It's a restaurant that will make you want to come back again and again. Lunch sets are a good deal~^ ^

This is one of the shops I can't live without. I go so often that I've become friends with the master brothers. I always park my car on Hanan-dori and go when the parking meter is finished at night. The location is across from Royal Host and Honda Cars, with a bright sign that stands out. The recommended point here is the delicious naan! The plain regular naan is served first and you eat it as is. It's sweet, fluffy, and chewy. The thin parts are crispy and fragrant! This alone is a delightful taste. In addition, there is a wide variety of naan options such as spinach naan and pumpkin naan. I personally like spinach naan, but it's a bit too much with sag curry, haha. The tandoori dishes are also delicious, and I always go for the B set with tandoori garlic chicken. However, if my husband and I both order the B set, it's quite a lot, so we order one A set and one B set, with 3 curries, 2 naans, 1 chicken dish, and a salad, and we're full! After trying various curries, I like keema, chicken masala, sag chicken, and my husband likes butter chicken and cashew nut curry, haha. By the way, the second floor is often visited by groups of moms with kids (especially during lunchtime), and it can get a bit noisy, so that's a bit of a downside, haha. But it's okay to be noisy, so it might be easy for moms to come. The staff are good at Japanese and very kind and helpful!

In the vicinity of Nishieifuku, several authentic curry restaurants have sprung up unnoticed. Feeling like having curry, we visited a restaurant that my wife had visited for lunch before. This restaurant specializes in authentic Nepalese curry, ranging from sweet curry that even children can enjoy to extremely spicy authentic ones. The first floor has table seating, while the second floor has both table and tatami seating, and since we had children with us, we were seated in the tatami area. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we could smell the spices. That's how authentic it should be. All the staff are from Nepal or India, and although there are no Japanese staff, they can communicate well in Japanese. For drinks, the children had orange juice, my wife had lassi, and I had a Nepalese beer called "Everest." We ordered the sweet "Butter Chicken" for the kids, "Navabi Gosht" for my wife, and I went for the spicy "Green Curry" with an extra kick. We also ordered rice, naan, spinach naan, tandoori chicken, and a churro salad. The Nepalese beer "Everest" tasted slightly sweet, similar to local beers from the South Pacific. The churro salad was a straightforward salad with lettuce, tomatoes, boiled eggs, and a dressing similar to aurora sauce. It didn't feel out of place at all, perhaps tailored for Japanese taste. The tandoori chicken was tender and had a flavorful curry aroma that whetted our appetites. It wasn't very spicy, just a flavorful chicken dish. The kids' butter chicken and rice were shared between my children because the portion was quite large for a small child. The rice was cooked soft and went well with the sweet butter chicken sauce, which was not overly sweet but had a hint of spiciness. The Green Curry, with an extra kick, was just right when paired with naan. The Navabi Gosht had a standard level of spiciness, but it seemed spicier than the Green Curry with added spice. It had a good balance of spiciness and flavor, making it delicious. The spinach naan, despite its intense green color, didn't taste overwhelmingly of spinach but was quite tasty. It went well with the Green Curry and Navabi Gosht. We ordered quite a lot, but we finished everything. The total bill came to 6200 yen, cash only with a smile. Considering the amount we ate, the price was reasonable. If we ever crave curry again, we'll definitely visit this place. Overall, I rate it 3.3 out of 5 for being a leading curry spot in Nishieifuku. The food and taste receive a 3.5 for being delicious, the service a 3.5 for attentive Nepalese staff, the atmosphere a 3.0 for a slightly subdued Nepalese restaurant vibe, and the value for money a 3.5 for being good. The drinks get a 3.0 for offering Nepalese alcohol in their lineup.

Nepalese traditional home-cooked food restaurant. Located along Inokashira Street, halfway between Keio Inokashira Line's Nishi Eifuku Station and Eifukucho Station. It takes about a 7-minute walk from both stations. The first time I visited was for lunch in June 2014. I ordered the green curry and spinach curry (both with naan). As you can see in the photos, the naan is huge! It's freshly baked and deliciously sweet. The green curry is a bit spicy and goes perfectly with the naan. Side dishes and appetizers are also provided within the price, so you'll be quite full. Ending with a drink and dessert, the taste is amazing yet affordable! It's a rare find in Tokyo! (laughs) For dinner, I only used takeout, which cost only ¥500 each time. There were coupon tickets displayed at the storefront, so it's worth using them. Sometimes the Nepalese staff speak in a language I don't understand, but they can also speak a little Japanese (although a bit hard to understand). If you ask about the dishes or ingredients, they will answer politely. They are very serious. Their occasional smiles are charming. They also refill water frequently. The nearby Eifukucho Daishoken also refills water frequently, right? The name of the place, Eifukucho, is wonderful, and this restaurant is also great (laughs). During the night, I sometimes worry if there are customers inside when passing by, but during lunchtime, Madams, mothers with children, and students visit. There seems to be a sister store in Tachikawa Tsutsujigaoka. It has a unique taste reminiscent of Southeast Asian street stalls, and though I am a man in my late 30s, I have to say, "This curry is seriously delicious." It's great value for money, and I feel like it deserves even higher ratings (3.7 is fine). If you have the chance to go to Eifuku, please try it. Writing this, I'm starting to crave it again (sweat). Thank you for the meal.

I have visited this place multiple times but always forget to write a review... I went with my husband and our 1-year-old daughter on a Sunday. The interior of the restaurant is warm and cozy with a white color scheme. It was lunchtime and the place was packed. They mentioned that there were some seats available on the 2nd floor, but since we had a stroller, we opted for the counter seats on the 1st floor. The staff were all friendly, although there were no Japanese employees. It took a bit of time to place our order due to the crowd, but sitting at the counter allowed us to see the naan being made and the tandoori chicken being cooked, which kept our daughter entertained. We ordered the Weekend Lunch Set (890 yen) and the Tandoori Chicken (420 yen). The restaurant was bustling with activity, with customers coming in for takeout as well. When a table became available and the staff invited us to move, we were able to enjoy our meal at a more leisurely pace. The curry-spiced potatoes and salad were served as appetizers. I chose the mutton curry from the options of chicken, keema, seafood, vegetables, mutton, and daily special. I love lamb, so I went with mutton. My husband chose chicken. The naan was freshly made and large! After about 20 minutes, our food arrived, and we started eating. The mutton curry had a sweet base with a lingering spicy kick, which was a bit mild for my taste as a fan of spicy food. The chicken curry had a sweet flavor with a hint of coconut milk, which I found delicious. The naan was also on the sweeter side, but still tasty. Our daughter loved the naan and couldn't stop eating it. The tandoori chicken was decent, but I wish it had a bit more spice and a crispier texture from being cooked in the tandoor. For dessert, we had a choice of vanilla ice cream and a drink (iced coffee, oolong tea, orange juice, iced tea, lassi, masala tea, pot, grapefruit juice), and I chose lassi, which was delicious. The tandoori chicken was an additional order, but for 890 yen, it was a great deal considering the generous portion of curry. I'm not sure why the ratings are relatively low, but I think maybe the clientele who frequent this place are not the type to post on review sites. I think the cost performance is great! It seems like they aim to be a small ethnic restaurant in the local area. I personally enjoy it. Thank you for the meal!

On the same day, after eating "Gabao stir-fry" at a Thai restaurant specializing in Thai cuisine in Hamamatsucho, I went to work in Nagafukucho in Suginami, the nearest station being Nishi-Nagafuku. On my way back, I passed by a restaurant named Nepari Churo, which was still open at 23:00, so I decided to stop by. The restaurant is located on the right side of Inogashira Street, a short walk from Nishi-Nagafuku station on the Keio Inokashira Line. The sign saying "Specializing in Nepalese traditional home cooking" caught my attention, and since I wasn't very hungry, I decided to visit while I had the chance, as I wasn't sure when I would be back in Nagafukucho. The restaurant has seating on the first and second floors, with the second floor hosting a lively party while the first floor was just me. The menu is divided into categories like salad, soup, snacks, and curry, similar to other Indian and Nepalese restaurants. The staff, two Nepalese men, were running the place. Since I was only 60% full, I thought curry might be too much, so I ordered Alcoa Chur and half rice, an odd combination. The Alcoa Chur was plentiful, with two types for 580 yen and half rice for 200 yen, totaling 780 yen. The staff asked me various questions about my unusual order, leading to a conversation about Nepalese home cooking. The conversation touched on how they initially wanted to serve various Nepalese dishes but ended up with a menu similar to typical Indian cuisine due to lack of orders. They also mentioned that the "Gundruk Curry" I had previously eaten at Namaste Kathmandu in Ikebukuro was also available for staff meals. The Alcoa Chur included okra with a mustard seed and sesame paste that blended well, giving it a somewhat Japanese flavor, except for the spiciness. Another dish they brought out as a small portion of Alcoa was a warm dish seasoned with turmeric and mustard seeds, while the okra version was a cold dish. Both dishes paired well with rice as a side dish. They seemed willing to make improvised dishes upon request, so I look forward to returning on an empty stomach next time. Thank you for the meal.

(I've been using this restaurant quite often, at least five times already. I went for lunch on a Tuesday recently. I usually have the lunch set for 850 yen. The set includes "main dish (free refill), one curry, salad, achar, drink, and dessert." On this day, I chose naan as the main dish, butter chicken as the curry of the day, and iced chai as the drink. The naan was slightly sweet, fluffy, and crispy, which I quite liked. The butter chicken curry had a strong tomato base with a hint of sweetness, a classic butter chicken. Personally, I prefer creamier and sweeter curries, but this one was not bad. I've tried various curries here, and so far, the mutton curry is the most delicious. It had a base of fresh tomatoes and onions with a light and non-overpowering curry sauce. The achar on this day was alu achar, which had a good sesame flavor and was delicious. The achar here is always tasty, and if they seriously made Nepalese cuisine, it would probably be delicious. The iced chai had a strong tea flavor and was a tasty chai. Overall, the restaurant has improved since my first visit, so I have raised the taste, value for money, and overall rating.) (I visited for lunch earlier this week. I arrived around 12 o'clock, and the restaurant was about 50% full. This restaurant mainly focuses on Indian cuisine with naan and curry, but they also have a selection of trendy Southeast Asian dishes. The staff are familiar Nepalese people. The lunch menu includes about 6 Southeast Asian dishes (I remember seeing dishes like gapao, chow mein, and tom yum ramen). These Southeast Asian dishes are quite pricey, around 950 yen each. I ordered the daily curry set (I think it was 750 yen). It came with the daily curry, main dish, salad, and soup. The main dish automatically came as naan. The daily curry of the day was eggplant keema. It took quite some time for the main dish to arrive, about 20 minutes. The naan was quite large, with a good balance of fluffiness and crispiness. It was slightly sweet and delicious on its own. The curry had a slight sourness and lacked a bit of richness. It seemed a bit watery, maybe due to the eggplant. I couldn't find whole spices, so it was a powder spice curry. The salad was a thick cabbage salad, and the soup was a tomato-based soup with a hint of spice and a slightly heavy creaminess. It was okay.)

We went as a family at night. The shady izakaya vibe has disappeared, and it seems to have returned to its original Nepalese cuisine. We ordered the Ladies Set (1380 yen with two small curries) and the Churos Special Set (1490 yen with chicken and sausage-like items) along with Tandoori Chicken 2 pieces and Samosa 2 pieces. We chose naan and rice as the main dish for the set. We were served a salad for three as a service. The samosas were spicy and delicious, with a hint of cumin flavor. The rice was generous, and we enjoyed three types of curry - chicken, keema, and spinach. The highlight was the naan, which was delicious. It had a chewy texture, was soft, and moist, making it enjoyable to eat on its own. It had a slight sweetness to it, and among all the naans I've had, I can say it's top-notch. One piece is enough to fill you up, but you can also get a refill. Definitely worth trying.

The restaurant has a good reputation and is located along Inokashira Street, a bit of a walk from Keio Inokashira Line Nishi-Eifuku Station. The prices are surprisingly affordable. They offer authentic curry, and lassi is available as well. The lunch set comes with a drink of your choice, salad, and ice cream. The naan is chewy and you can even choose options like cheese naan. The staff will ask if you want a refill when you're almost done eating. I usually order butter chicken curry, but the vegetable curry is also good. The staff often recommend spicy dishes. The dinner menu has more curry options. They also offer a 500 yen takeout bento during lunch. My favorite is the lunch set with cheese naan and butter chicken curry, followed by lassi and ice cream for dessert. It's very satisfying.

I wanted to try the naan here, so my husband and I visited on a weekday afternoon. We ordered the lunch set which included chicken curry pad Thai. Each set came with soup, salad, and a drink. We chose lassi for our drink. The chicken curry could be adjusted for spiciness, and we asked for it to be slightly spicy. The curry was creamy with chunks of chicken and very delicious. We started with naan but also got rice later on, and we were so full! My husband's pad Thai had a strong shrimp flavor and was tasty, although a bit salty for my taste. They also had Tom Yum Kung and pho on the menu, so I would like to come back to try other dishes. I also want to try the cheese naan next time.

I went for lunch at a place that was advertised as Nepalese cuisine, but the lunch set included a mix of Southeast Asian dishes like green curry, pad Thai, and basil chicken. Despite this, I decided to go for the curry set priced at 850 yen. Today's curry was a chicken and spinach curry. Usually, Indian or Nepalese curry restaurants only offer salads as side dishes, but here they served a potato and okra dish seasoned with curry flavor, along with a small portion of Nepalese-style pickles. A friend who is knowledgeable about Indian cuisine mentioned the name of the dish, but I can't recall it now. The curry was delicious, and without even asking, they offered us an extra piece of naan, which we shared. The set also came with a drink, making it a good value for the price. I wish the location was closer to the station.
