Today's review is about Urth Caffé Daikanyama. Located about a 5-minute walk from Daikanyama Station along Hachiman-dori, this café first opened in Japan in April 2013. Originally from the United States, the café started as a small coffee bar that only sold coffee and tea, with no chairs or tables. The goal was to heal the wounded earth and bring happiness to people through a cup of coffee. The café aims to create the most beautiful and delicious coffee in the world. I visited on a weekday for lunch, and the weather was gloomy. It looked like it might rain heavily, but at least it was cool. I decided to have Chinese food, but there was a long line at the restaurant. I waited for about 7 minutes, but the line didn't move, so I gave up and decided to try again another time. Instead, I visited Urth Caffé, a noticeable café on Hachiman-dori with a spacious outdoor terrace and indoor seating. The interior resembled a food court with long communal tables and large trees. The earth-themed decorations were prominent, and the atmosphere was comfortable. I ordered the Mexican Chicken Quesadilla Plate for 1,290 yen, which came with a drink. I chose orange juice. The plate arrived with a salad and a generous portion of quesadilla. The vegetables were scarce and quite hard, so I had to be careful while eating. The quesadilla itself was delicious, with a crispy tortilla and ample meat filling. The sauce was not too spicy, similar to kebab. As I was about to leave, a sudden downpour caught me off guard. I got drenched in the rain, and even my umbrella was useless. Lightning struck nearby, and I was soaked. Despite the unexpected weather, the meal was enjoyable. Goodbye, Urth Caffé Daikanyama!

It is a green tea boba smoothie with tapioca pearls. It costs around 800 yen, but it is large and has good value for the price. It might be difficult to finish alone within the time limit, so it's best to go when you're really thirsty. The interior of the store is cool with effective air conditioning.

About a 10-minute walk from Shibuya Station, I revisited "Earth Cafe Daikanyama" in May. I arrived at the restaurant at 10:00 am on a weekday and was the first customer. There are 6 types of morning sets to choose from, and this time I went with the Pancake Set, which includes 3 pancakes, iced coffee, and organic orange juice for an additional charge. I had previously tried the Bacon and Eggs set but got tired of it halfway through, so I decided to keep it simple this time. However, I realized that just having pancakes alone made me even more bored (laughs). The portion size was like a meal for both breakfast and lunch! The pancakes alone were not satisfying as they were not easy to swallow. During this season, it seems okay to sit on the terrace as long as the sun is not shining directly, but it can be hot since it's outdoors. Similar to my last visit, the indoor and terrace seats were empty in the morning.

The terrace seats were available, which was great. This cafe is baby-friendly with no steps, baby chairs, and diaper changing facilities. The coffee is plentiful and cheap. I want to go back again. It's always crowded.

Earth Cafe Daikanyama is a 5-minute walk from Daikanyama Station. It's a nice spot not far from the station, about a 10-minute walk from Shibuya Station. The weather was good, although a bit windy, and we enjoyed sitting on the spacious terrace. We arrived around 10 am and the place was about 30% full. I ordered the Bacon and Egg Pancake Set (with iced coffee) for around 1400 yen. The taste was neither good nor bad, and having three pancakes was a bit too much for me. The crowd seemed to be mostly young people, but I was pleasantly surprised when two older gentlemen came in. Overall, I think it's a nice place to visit.

I go to this spacious cafe when I want to relax, or when I want to have lunch with my dog. On this day, I had salad, a drink, and a sandwich. The weather was so nice that I started off inside the restaurant, but as it got crowded, I moved outside to the terrace and enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere. It's a comfortable place for a relaxing lunch break in between work.

On a regular night, I had dinner alone. I ordered a Caesar salad and almond milk latte. Mixing all the salad ingredients together and breaking the crispy tortilla while eating made it very satisfying. The regular size latte also had plenty of volume. I am full!

It's been a while since I went to Omotesando. The weather was nice, so I decided to drive there. I accompanied someone for shopping and now it's time for lunch. I wanted to avoid the crowds, so we headed to Daikanyama. I remembered a cafe I visited in America before, so we went there. Daikanyama is a place I've been to before as well. It was packed for Sunday lunch, so we sat on the terrace. I ordered a lunch set with a tuna sandwich, which came with a delicious side salad. The pickles were also good. It's a famous place, so if you haven't been, I recommend it.

Around 1:30 PM on Saturday, two of us visited for a late lunch. The restaurant had a terrace seating area and a good number of seats. It was a bit away from the station, so even on weekends, we were able to be seated right away and it didn't get crowded afterwards. A hidden gem, perhaps? I ordered the Mexican chicken quesadilla lunch set for 1300 yen, which came with a drink. I chose coffee as my drink. I was expecting a strong Mexican flavor, but it wasn't overpowering. It had a hint of chili but not too intense, which I liked. Squeezing lime on it added a refreshing touch. The tortilla was crispy and delicious. I also appreciated the side salad. Dogs are allowed on the terrace. The clientele seemed more mature than students, creating a relaxed atmosphere where we could leisurely enjoy our meal. The lunch set comes with coffee or tea, but they also offer a variety of dessert drinks. It's a cafe where you can have a leisurely chat. There were quite a few people working on their own as well.

I used to visit Earth Cafe often, but recently I've been wanting to go there on weekend mornings. My favorite is the Tostada for lunch. When I arrived around 10:30, they hadn't started serving Tostadas yet, so I had the pancakes. They looked good, but when I tried them, they didn't compare to specialty pancake shops... They were thin, but just thin, without much flavor. Not sweet or salty, I poured maple syrup over them and finished them. I might not order them again next time... I was planning to leave after eating the pancakes, but there were a lot of solo customers and families with young children in the morning, creating a calm atmosphere. It was perfect for reading, and before I knew it, it was already noon. The Tostada is consistently good! The best! The right way to eat it is still unclear no matter how many times I eat it... It's a tortilla that's been shaped into a bowl and deep-fried, filled with a generous amount of something like a Cobb salad. I tried breaking it into small pieces and eating it with the vegetables, or topping it with vegetables when it broke into larger pieces... The taste is excellent, but the cost performance is average, but I will definitely come back to eat it again! I hope it doesn't get too crowded!

Spicy fried potatoes! I bought them to go when I was strolling through Daikanyama. The outside is crispy and the inside is fluffy. Seasoned with rosemary and salt, this spicy dish has a wonderful aroma and should be eaten while hot. Delicious!

I visited during Sunday lunchtime and was happy to find plenty of available seats. I enjoyed my meal on the terrace. I used to visit this restaurant often in America, and it felt similar here in Japan. I ordered the salsa chicken sandwich set for lunch, but there was no hot tea option included in the set, so I ordered it separately.

The style was to reserve a seat first and then go to the counter with the number tag on the table to place an order. I ordered a matcha latte and a cheese croissant! The cheese croissant was warmed up, making it even more crispy and delicious. The matcha latte I ordered on a whim was served in a larger bowl than I expected, filled to the brim! The latte art was also lovely. The matcha latte had a stronger matcha flavor than milk, which I personally enjoyed. Thank you for the meal!

I ordered the granola drink set for less than 1000 yen, making it a stylish and affordable morning option. It's rare to find a cafe open in the morning in this area, especially at this price. -Iced Cafe Latte: 3.5 They only offer a large size of this ice cream with claims of being the most delicious in the world. It's quite a voluminous size, and I wonder if there are actually people who want to drink this much. I feel guilty for not being able to finish it, but the taste is good with a coffee flavor. I don't know if it's the best in the world, but it's delicious.

I made a reservation for lunch and went. The dishes were all generous and shareable. This time, I ordered the Tuna Melt Panini and Grilled Chicken Salad. The Panini was definitely delicious! The Grilled Chicken (Salad) was very tender and healthy. It was very pleasant to sit on the terrace on this day. I think the indoor seating would also be nice as the season with strong sunlight approaches.

In America, my favorite place is Earth Cafe. Today, I started my day with a Breakfast Burrito, a Spanish Latte, and decaf with soy milk. The Spanish Latte is really delicious and my absolute favorite! It has condensed milk in it, making it sweet and perfect for me. By the way, decaf and regular coffee taste completely different, so I recommend trying decaf. A friend who loves regular coffee even said that decaf is tastier!
