<Late August> My friend and I visited the Chinese restaurant "Hiryu" located about 3 minutes from the north exit of Tsutsujigaoka Station on the Keio Line on a Saturday around 4:30 pm. The cozy restaurant was almost full, but luckily there was one seat available. The menu was extensive, but I was in the mood for fried rice, so I decided to go with that. The dishes we ordered were: - Omelette Fried Rice (with soup) for 1000 yen - Mixed Vegetable Dish Set for around 1150 yen Soon after, my Omelette Fried Rice arrived. It looked delicious and the chili sauce-flavored sauce was just right, not too sweet, and paired well with the fluffy fried rice and thin omelette. It was just the way I like my fried rice. The staff was also very friendly. This Chinese restaurant, loved by the locals, is definitely a place I would like to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I felt like having Chinese food on a Sunday evening, so I decided to visit this restaurant. I ordered the Negi Tsukemen (2 servings) and half portion of fried rice set. The unique taste of this local Chinese restaurant is amazing! The noodles are thin and the soup has a special deliciousness to it. The combination of a little spice and green onions is perfect! The half portion of fried rice is also incredibly tasty! I look forward to trying their set menu Chinese dishes next time!

Chinese Cuisine Hiryu Tsutsujigaoka Branch @ Chofu City, Tokyo (Tsutsujigaoka) @ Located just before the intersection of Koshu Kaido on the northwest side of Tsutsujigaoka Station on the Keio Line, this Chinese restaurant has a seasoned appearance. They are known for serving rice and noodle sets in a gourd-shaped dish. Similar to Ooino in Futata, there are branches in Chofu (Futata) and Tsutsujigaoka. I stopped by for the first time in 4 and a half years since lunch on July 29, 2018. The counter has only 2-3 seats right by the entrance. The compact interior has tables for 2 and 4 people each. Various recommended items are posted on the walls and tables, enticing customers. The menu consists of over 80 items, including 8 combinations of noodles and rice. The set meals include thinly sliced pork, liver, fish, chicken, beef, squid, and other vegetables, totaling about 50 varieties. All are priced at 1,000 yen or less. ■ Liver and Garlic Sprout Stir-Fry Set 950 ■ Thinly Sliced Pork and Egg Set 1,000 ■ Shumai 500 Set meals come with bean sprouts topped cold tofu, pickled carrots and radishes, and egg soup, and the rice is shiny but slightly soft. The liver and garlic sprouts are well seasoned, but the garlic sprouts are soft like they have been boiled once, lacking a crunchy texture, and the liver is not plump, which was a bit different from my preference. The pork and egg dish had a gentle flavor and was delicious. The small shumai is a soft shumai with a gentle taste centered on vegetables. Quite tasty. There were three staff members, two men and two women, who seemed to be a family, working efficiently. The young man in charge of the hall had a loud voice and provided detailed service, earning a high level of favorability. As a result, local customers visited one after another, making it a thriving restaurant. It's a good place to enjoy a variety of Chinese dishes in a casual atmosphere. Recommended rating ★★★★☆ Parking: None, CP visit date: February 23, 2023, lunch hours: available, takeout: unknown, closed on Tuesdays, operating hours: 11:00-22:00, number of seats: 17, counter seats: available, smoking: completely non-smoking, credit cards: not accepted, electronic money: not accepted, PayPay not accepted, point cards: none, possibility of repeat visit: medium, note: ==========

I went for dinner on a holiday~ I was surprised when I walked in, it's cleaner and nicer than it looks from the outside. The menu is very extensive and I had a hard time deciding. There are so many options for yakisoba! I chose the unusual shrimp chili yakisoba. It's all shrimp chili. The noodles are thin. It's new. It's not crispy. It was delicious and piping hot. The dumplings were hot and juicy, with a meaty broth like xiaolongbao. The ratio of meat to vegetables is about half and half, not too meaty. It's not mostly vegetables either. The seasoning is strong. It's delicious. I had seconds! The cleanliness of the table, with soy sauce and vinegar provided, makes me think they clean it every day. It gives me peace of mind that the food is also carefully prepared. Next time, I want to try the yakisoba that says it's cooked on both sides. I'll definitely go again. Thank you for the meal! (^^)

Tsutsujigaoka Hiryu This restaurant is located a few minutes from Tsutsujigaoka Station North Exit on the Keio Line. It's hot outside, so let's go inside right away. "Hiryu" There was a similar Chinese restaurant with the same name along the Koshu Highway near Chofu Station. I love Chinese restaurants! Let's have a drink at a Chinese restaurant along the old Koshu Highway in Chofu|Looking for the remaining scent of Showa (ameblo.jp) When asked, the owner said that the Chofu restaurant is run by his uncle. Also, the owner is from the street Chinese restaurant "Daio" near Futata Station on the Keio Line local. Let's take a look at the menu. The menu is extensive and overwhelming. It's all Chinese food. Yakisoba is well represented. There are also plenty of cold dishes seasonally. Combo menus, just like at the Hiryu in Chofu. The difference between a combo menu and a set menu is that a combo menu comes in one container with noodles and rice dishes. Set meals are well represented. It's really hard to decide. For the companion, I chose the Cold Tantanmen for 850 yen. I went for noodles. The colorful combination of meat miso and green vegetables is nice. Since the companion went for noodles, let's go for a rice dish. The Yakiniku Donburi is 800 yen, and the Gyoza is 450 yen, but if you get the Yakiniku Donburi and Gyoza set, it's 1000 yen. It's definitely a good deal to get the set. I saved 250 yen. The rice dishes at this restaurant are recommended as the sauce goes well with the rice. The owner and his wife are in the kitchen. Please continue to do your best as a representative Chinese restaurant in Tsutsujigaoka. Below are the items I ordered when I visited in August 2018. Oh, I ordered Cold Tantanmen and Gyoza this time too. Some things never change when it comes to food preferences.

I decided to have Chinese food while waiting for my husband to come home, so I visited this restaurant for the first time, located a 3-minute walk from Tsutsujigaoka Station. I ordered a set of ramen and beef bowl! After waiting for about 10 minutes, the dishes arrived! The ramen had a light taste with chicken broth, very easy to eat and good! The beef bowl had a spicy flavor that went well with rice and was excellent! It was a very satisfying lunch!

The famous ramen shop in Tsutsujigaoka had a long line, so I came here instead. They serve a twin bowl dish that doesn't seem to be popular, maybe because it's difficult to eat. The Omelette Fried Rice is wrapped in fluffy egg and topped with sweet and sour Tianjin rice. It's covered generously with sauce, so it's best to start by eating the fried rice and egg separately to avoid getting tired of the taste halfway through.

"Let's have a drink at the local Chinese restaurant!" For tonight's dinner, we entered the restaurant at 6:00 pm and had a 60-minute one-on-one battle! We started with the "Drink Set" upgraded to a bottled beer version, and chose the "Egg Salad" and "Stir-fried Pork and Vegetables". The egg salad consisted of cabbage salad with a topping of fluffy egg and savory sauce, which paired well with the beer. The stir-fried pork and vegetables had crunchy vegetables and tender pork that surprisingly went well with the beer. We added another bottle of beer and ordered the popular "Double-sided Yakisoba". This dish featured half-cooked noodles with sauce, which served as a great beer snack and a satisfying end to the meal. The service from the female staff was excellent, leaving both our hearts and stomachs satisfied. (^^)

Chofu City, Nishi Tsutsujigaoka, Tokyo. A local Chinese restaurant that has been around for a long time. The menu is extensive and they are open all day, which is great. It seems like they recently renovated the place as it looks clean and nice inside. It is suitable for women and families. The nearest station is Tsutsujigaoka Station on the Keio Line. It's located just before Koshu Kaido on the north side. This is my first time posting a review, but I have definitely been there before. It was a while ago, around 11 AM on a weekday for lunch. There was one customer already there, and two customers getting takeout. There were three staff members. The restaurant has 17 seats in total - 7 two-seater tables and 3 counter seats. Today's order: Both sides fried noodles & half fried rice for 1100 yen. It's a bit pricey. The both sides fried noodles had a good balance of crispy and steamed sides. The sauce was generous with plenty of ingredients. The portion was satisfying. The fried rice was moist and I added some pepper and salt to adjust the flavor. I also got some Chinese soup on the side. The combo menu, which comes in a divided gourd-shaped plate, is popular too. It's a great local Chinese restaurant for everyday dining. They also have free Wi-Fi, another branch in Fuda, and a variety of dishes including ramen, yakisoba, and a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. Takeout is available and I will definitely be coming back.

Azalea's Om, Kawai, which runs vertically through Tsutsujigaoka Station, is Kurta-Ai on the north side closed? Ah, spinning wheels... Wandering around, a little backtracking, and heading towards Kurta-Ai, I came across a place that caught my interest. Three eateries lined up in a building with some history. Now, should I go for curry, Chinese food, or a sandwich... After much contemplation, I ended up walking towards Kawai at 14:05. Welcomed by the lady with a familiar voice saying "Welcome!" and "Please come this way," I was guided to a two-seater table near the entrance and looked through the menu. Hmm, quite a variety. It's a tough decision... After much consideration, I ordered the "popular" Beef Bowl (800 yen) and looked around the restaurant. The interior had a sense of history but was clean. Tables lined up along the left wall, with the kitchen on the right and a small counter with 2-3 seats in front. The restaurant was run by two women, and about 70% of the seats were occupied. Perhaps because it was a Sunday, most of the customers seemed to be locals. The dish was ready in 5 minutes. The garlic aroma was strong, making its presence felt (^_^;) Well then. The garlic flavor is strong, giving a hearty kick (^_^;) Amidst its dominance, the sesame flavor occasionally sparkled. The seasoning had a miso-like richness and saltiness as the main flavors. The rice was enjoyable. The ingredients included pork, onions, and komatsuna. The pork was belly meat, tender and with a decent thickness, a satisfying inclusion, which was nice. The onions were thick, with a sweet and savory flavor brought out by cooking. The rice was cooked well, an important aspect here (`・ω・´)キリッ The soup was not ramen soup, but a soup with beaten eggs and corn. It had a refreshing taste, perfect for cleansing the palate. Finished the meal. The portion was normal, but with plenty of meat and a strong garlic flavor, it was quite an interesting dish (^_-)-☆ The service was friendly with a bright smile. Their pleasant attitude even made me smile, which was much appreciated. Later, I found out that there was a menu item called "Omelet Fried Rice" on Hot Pepper... Did I miss it? (T ^ T) To be continued.

I visited this restaurant in Futa based on the reviews of Hiryu-san and his relatives. I like anko-based ramen, so I thought I would enjoy it here as well. I noticed that the unique bowl used for the set meal is the same as the one used at Oo-Okina in Futa. I wonder if there is any connection between the two places. When I arrived around 11:30 on a weekday, there were already two groups of customers eating. I sat at a two-person table near the entrance and ordered the moyashi soba for 700 yen. While waiting, more customers arrived, and all the tables were soon full. It's quite popular here! The moyashi soba was served, and it looked quite appealing. It had a slightly soy sauce-flavored anko topping with plenty of vegetables. When I tasted the soup without the anko, I could faintly sense a gentle Chinese soba flavor with a hint of seafood broth and ginger. The noodles were thin and straight with a good firmness. Overall, I felt it could use a bit more richness, but the balance between the anko and the soup was good and delicious. You can also add a half portion of fried rice with the noodles, which is perfect for those who want more. It's also nice that most of the time it's non-smoking, and it seems to be open all day according to the signs.

I went to Hiryu at Tsutsujigaoka. This time, I visited during a weekday for dinner. After returning home late, Wife: Huh!? You went all the way to Tsutsu to eat dinner? Me: Yeah! But you know, there aren't many places that really do this kind of thing... I showed her some photos I rarely take at the restaurant due to religious reasons. Me: See? Wife: ... "See?"... even if you say that with a smug face... Is it really that delicious? Me: The taste is okay... well, not really. No, no, no. It's not about that. It's about how they seriously do things like this ▽*. Wife: ... Hmm. I don't really get it. Me: That's why, it's about how they do something that seems meaningless but they do it seriously. Wife: Oh, I see, I see. Anyway, what's the souvenir? Me: Come on! Seriously... Thank you for the meal!

I hope Chofu becomes a livelier town!!! This time, I visited "Hiryu," a Chinese restaurant located just a 2-minute walk from Tsutsujigaoka Station on the Keio Line. The restaurant is small but bustling with local customers. The staff, particularly the older sister, was very attentive. The menu is very extensive, with various set meals ranging from 780 yen to 980 yen, as well as a special lunch deal for 750 yen that changes weekly. There is also a wide selection of noodle dishes and rice bowls. I ordered the Hoikoro Donburi with a half ramen set for 750 yen. The restaurant was almost full, but I was seated quickly at the counter. The unique-shaped bowl made it a bit difficult to eat, but the food was delicious. The ramen had a slightly light and refreshing flavor, while the Hoikoro Donburi was rich and flavorful with plenty of pork belly and vegetables. The combination of the two dishes created a nice balance of flavors. I tried eating the bowl both horizontally and vertically, but couldn't decide which way was better. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

This is Hiryu-san, located about a 10-minute walk from Tsutsujigaoka Station. I was wandering around looking for a delicious restaurant when I stumbled upon a Chinese restaurant where people were coming and going. Even though it was slightly off lunchtime, the place was bustling with customers. I decided to give it a try and ordered my favorite dish, Hoikoro. I asked for extra rice as well. However, when I tried the dish, I found it to be neither delicious nor terrible. It was just okay. I was surprised as the place was crowded, and I was expecting something more delicious. Oh well, that's disappointing.

I had the opportunity to go to Tsutsujigaoka Station for work and decided to have lunch. There weren't many options, but I found a crowded restaurant with a variety of menu items, including ramen sets. I ordered the liver miso stir-fry (830 yen). It was okay, not great but not bad either. What I really appreciated was the waiter offering to refill my water and asking if I wanted tea. I would definitely go back to this restaurant when I visit Tsutsujigaoka Station again.

This is a Chinese restaurant located in front of Tsutsujigaoka Station. The interior is very bright, the service is quick, and all the dishes are delicious. They have a great alcohol menu where you can get beer, salad, and dumplings for 1000 yen. The salad even comes with a thin omelette on top, which was surprisingly delicious. They also provide small bowls and plates for kids, and quickly clear away empty dishes. The menu is extensive and the staff is efficient. If this restaurant was in my neighborhood, I would definitely become a regular customer.

On Saturday, it was raining so I took a break from running and went to the gym instead. For lunch, I decided to visit Tsutsuji-ga-oka area after a long time. The options were "Shokudo Ikkyu" or "Beijing Kateisai" so I headed to the north exit of the station around 2:30 pm. Unfortunately, "Shokudo Ikkyu" was closed. Next, I tried "Beijing Kateisai" but the lights were dim, there were no customers, and the staff was eating, so I decided not to enter. I walked back towards the station and came across "Hiryu" so I went in. The interior was simple with mainly table seating. There were about 4 customers already. The menu included a set with noodles and rice in a container shaped like the number "8". It reminded me of a similar place in Fuda called "Taiou". After ordering, I received my Omurice Chahan for 880 yen. I enjoyed it with a beer while waiting. The Chahan was well-cooked and the fluffy egg on top was a nice touch. The chili sauce on top was not too spicy, with a light consistency and a balance of sweetness and slight acidity. The combination of the sauce and Chahan was surprisingly good. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, just like at "Taiou". The variety of the menu and the overall experience make me want to visit again.
