Visited the restaurant for dinner on a regular day. The place was crowded, with only 2 tables available, so we just made it in time. We were seated in the back room this time. Started with a beer for a toast. Here's what we ordered:
- Red Meat Trio: 3,780 yen
A set of Kalbi, Sirloin, and Harami for 4 people. Honestly, this was more than enough. The Kalbi was delicious with its fatty texture, the Harami was tender and satisfying, and the Sirloin was my favorite as it was thin and easy to eat. It might be a bit much for 2 people, but you can adjust with other menu items, so I recommend this set. You can be satisfied without adding anything on top.
- Grilled Shabu Sirloin: 1,980 yen
Ordered this again from last time. If you order the Red Meat Trio, you might not need this.
- Upper Tongue: 1,580 yen
The tongue was average as always. I like tongue, so I order it every time.
- Namul Assortment: 680 yen
Learned from last time and ordered a regular Namul assortment this time. However, it also had meat on top, and it felt like it was just mixed with the Kei Namul. It was a bit lacking in volume, so for this price, it seemed a bit expensive.
- Kimchi: 480 yen
Today, the taste and spiciness were overall mild. It didn't give me the feeling of eating Kimchi, which was a bit disappointing.
- Kei Soup: 880 yen
Ordered this again because it was delicious last time. However, this time, I skipped the rice, and just having the sweet and salty miso-based soup was tasty, but it was quite salty, so I recommend eating it with rice. It took quite a while for the food to arrive, probably due to the crowd. Also, it would have been better if they served the grilled Shabu Sirloin last, after the Tongue, so I could fully enjoy the Red Meat Trio. I should have ordered it later, but... If I feel like having grilled meat nearby, I might visit again.
