For lunch the other day, I had egg fried rice with plenty of eggs (served with soup) and pan-fried dumplings without garlic chives at Shibuya Gyoza. I had been curious about this place every time I passed by. The interior, which was stylish with a black color scheme, was bustling with foreign tourists and salarymen eating quietly. The fried rice I ordered had eggs, green onions, char siu, and naruto in it. It was cooked to a crispy finish, not too salty, and delicious. The thin-skinned dumplings were lightly seasoned, but the meat itself tasted good. And at only 250 yen per dish, it's quite a bargain. Next time, I'll order a bit more dumplings. Thank you for the meal.

For dinner, I ate 20 dumplings in a strict manner in preparation for the half marathon at the end of the month. In the end, I always come back to this type of dumplings that never get boring. #Dumplings #Pan-fried dumplings #Shibuya #Tabelog #simpleisbest #Delicious restaurant #food #foodie #delish

I entered the restaurant to escape the heat and satisfy my hunger. In the past, there was always a long line of people waiting to get in, so I had given up on entering before. But today, I was able to get in easily. The water dumplings were delicious. I cooled down with a big draft beer.

I had dumplings, mapo tofu set meal, and highball. It's a cheap and moderately delicious place where you can casually go. Among them, the mapo tofu was really delicious! It wasn't like the typical cheap places where they add thickening agent without spiciness, but it had a proper natural spiciness and numbing sensation that made the rice and highball go down smoothly. Thank you for the meal!

Located about a 5-minute walk from Shibuya Station, this restaurant is close to MEGA Don Quijote and Tenkaippin. It specializes in gyoza, so you can enjoy it even if you don't drink alcohol! They have branches in Ebisu and Shinjuku as well. The types of gyoza available here are pan-fried, boiled, and deep-fried. You can also choose options without garlic or chives! I personally recommend the Black Pepper Gyoza and Spicy Chive Gyoza. It offers good value for money!

Salad 350, 20 dumplings, 1160 without rice. Used for dinner. The salad came double the expected amount, which was a pleasant surprise. With this, maybe just 10 dumplings would be enough. This way, it's under 1000 yen. They were just regular dumplings, but I was satisfied and could enjoy them with a drink. There were no appetizers, despite expecting some. By the way, the small dishes had strong flavors, but I didn't try them today. There were salt, pepper, vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil available, so vinegar and pepper were possible. There were also table condiments, wet towels, and toothpicks. Payment was possible by card.

I came to Shibuya after a long time without researching anything beforehand. As I walked around, there were plenty of dining options but I couldn't decide which one to choose. After considering various options, I ended up at this restaurant. I climbed the stairs, opened the door to the second floor, and was seated at the counter. There was no physical menu, only a tablet with a blue screen that wasn't responding to touch. When I asked the staff, they mentioned that the screen needed to be activated, which they hadn't done. I ordered pan-fried dumplings for 290 yen, deep-fried dumplings for 290 yen, and rice for 200 yen. The atmosphere inside the restaurant felt like a casual drinking spot, with a few people having drinks even during lunchtime. The deep-fried dumplings came first with a side of mayonnaise, which added a nice touch of acidity. Next, I tried them with soy sauce, which I preferred. Overall, the dumplings didn't have a special flavor, and the garlic flavor I ordered wasn't very strong. The pan-fried dumplings were better than the deep-fried ones, but both seemed to be made with the same filling. If they are offering deep-fried dumplings, they should use dumplings specifically for that purpose. The price was reasonable, but this restaurant might not be worth a special trip for someone like me who rarely visits Shibuya. However, for those who frequent Shibuya, this place could be a decent option with its affordable price of 290 yen per plate. The name "Shibuya Dumplings" doesn't really reflect any Shibuya vibes, but it's one of the choices available in the area.

I arrived around 6:30 pm and waited outside the restaurant for about 10 minutes. I was seated at a table closest to the entrance, and every time the door opened, it was a bit cold. The prices were very reasonable, and the dumplings were delicious! I would like to visit again. Thank you very much.

First of all, the food was delicious. However, the restaurant was a bit crowded and our order was forgotten, which was a little surprising. If the food takes a while to arrive, it might be a good idea to confirm your order. Overall, I was satisfied with the service and the taste, so I would like to go back again!

Yesterday, three of us men used it. The place called Center Street is always crowded with young people, probably because you can drink cheaply there. The taste is decently delicious, with a Chinese image of fast, cheap, and tasty. Maybe because the order quantity is large, I have been there several times recently, but the dumplings are not well cooked every time. I understand the feeling because I used to run a dumpling shop, but the finishing touch should be a little longer (^^; But the mapo tofu is delicious with a strong flavor of Sichuan pepper!

Shibuya Gyoza
I visited Shibuya Gyoza after a long time, and the place was full of young people! It's located about 5 minutes into Center Gai. The restaurant was packed with young customers, showing a lot of energy and vitality. I quickly ordered gyoza - fried, steamed, soup, black, and other variations. I ordered the basic gyoza, soup, fried, and enjoyed the anticipation. The gyoza arrived in a neat row, in a small size that was easy to eat and delicious. I wanted more, so I ended up ordering about 20 pieces. It might be a good idea to order around 40 pieces from the start to enjoy the meal. The average customer spend was around 1500 yen per person. Thank you for the meal!

I indulged in stoic and orthodox but never boring dumplings. I had 20 of them. Basic is always good. I used to think it was unthinkable to use vinegar in dumpling sauce until a year ago, but in the past six months, I have suddenly come to like acidity, and now I must add vinegar. #ShibuyaDumplings #Shibuya #Dumplings #PanFriedDumplings #DumplingLover #WantToConnectWithDumplingLovers #Tabelog #Delicious #WantToConnectWithThoseWhoLoveDeliciousFood #DeliciousRestaurants #food #foodie #delish

Once a year, the day of the annual health check-up in Shibuya ends with a late lunch. I always struggle to decide where to eat, but today I felt like having some gyoza. Unfortunately, the mapo tofu that I always order at Chinese restaurants was sold out. Disappointed, but I had to make do and placed my order. Since it's post-check-up, of course, I had a drink. Starting with a draft beer. I ordered both pan-fried and boiled gyoza, both with garlic and chives. The dipping sauce for the pan-fried gyoza is a mix-your-own type, with a lot of vinegar and chili oil, and a little soy sauce. I like the tangy and spicy flavor. The pan-fried gyoza had a standard, classic taste. The boiled gyoza also had a well-seasoned filling, so they were good on their own. But they were also delicious with the leek salt. The grilled chicken skin skewers came with both sauce and salt. The crispy grilled chicken skin had all the fat rendered out. It tasted good with both sauce and salt, but the sauce might be more complementary. The fried chicken nuggets were tender, with a well-seasoned coating. Just a squeeze of lemon was all they needed. The crispy coating was quite nice. Next, I had fried skewers and ham cutlet. I was expecting to ask for sauce, but both the skewers and ham cutlet came already soaked in sauce. The coating soaked in sauce wasn't crispy, but it wasn't bad either. The meat in the skewers was tender. The ham cutlet was standard, nothing special. After the draft beer, I had Hoppy Black. The refills were average. Sometimes, there are places with very little shochu in the refills, but this place was standard. Overall, if you want to enjoy casual Chinese food, this place is a good choice.

I went to a nearby movie theater (Eurospace) and ended up missing dinner time until 9:30 pm, so I walked around Shibuya Center Street feeling a bit down. I felt like eating gyoza, so I entered this restaurant. The atmosphere inside was lively like an izakaya. I ordered using an iPad-like device. The taste was average. It's good for a quick bite. Thank you for the meal.

I came here because I saw good reviews saying that the food is delicious and they have a one-coin set meal for lunch. The gyoza comes in a set of 6 for 319 yen. The one-coin set meal includes rice, soup, and bean sprout namul for 500 yen including tax. The size of the gyoza is decent. The flavor of the filling is not very strong, so they recommend mixing soy sauce (5), chili oil (2), and vinegar (3) to enhance the taste. The skin is normal in texture and the taste is average. It reminded me of the deliciousness of Gyoza no Ohsho or Osaka Ohsho. However, the female floor staff was bright and left a good impression.

I was drawn in by the eye-catching sign of Shibuya Gyoza and decided to go there. It was on the second floor, so I hesitated a bit (because I didn't feel like climbing stairs), but since I really wanted to eat gyoza, I climbed the stairs. You can choose gyoza with or without garlic and chives. I chose the one with garlic and chives because it must be delicious! It's a great service to have during lunchtime. Besides gyoza, there are quite a few other menu items available, and they are also cheap. I also ordered the stir-fried chives with egg, and the egg was amazing. It wasn't like incredibly delicious, but it was just good. Every menu item is cheap, and the lunch menu is also a good deal. We went early for lunch, so we were able to relax by the window. At first, I thought climbing to the second floor was a hassle, but looking down from the window while eating gyoza and drinking beer in the daytime was great! And it's cheap too! It was awesome. Thank you for the meal.

We came here for a light meal around 9:30 pm on Wednesday. There was a table available and we were seated. We ordered 20 pieces of grilled dumplings, 2 plates of boiled dumplings, and a mapo tofu set with soup, rice, and bean sprout namul. The dumplings were delicious and easy to eat, with thin skins. We shared them among 4 people. The mapo tofu was spicy and not too sweet, which we liked. It's cheap, tasty, and great value for money.

We went with three people in the 4 o'clock hour and ordered 30 grilled dumplings. The restaurant is always busy, but we were able to get in quickly this time. It was like a pre-drinking party before the main event, so we also ordered lemon sour drinks. The alcohol was surprisingly strong, even after mixing it. The dumplings had thin skin and were easy to eat. The bill came out to only 810 yen per person, which was incredibly cheap! We want to go back for more dumplings and some fried food and drinks. We might get drunk quickly, but if you just want to enjoy the dumplings, this place is recommended.

I visited for lunch. I wanted to get the lunch set deal, but I also wanted to have both mapo tofu and gyoza, so I ordered them separately. Mapo tofu lovers tend to order it whenever they see it on the menu at any restaurant. The mapo tofu at this gyoza restaurant had a lot of meat and garlic shoots in it, making it a hearty dish. It was surprisingly delicious with a rich flavor. Also, the young female staff provided excellent service, which was a plus.

Shibuya Gyoza is a gyoza restaurant located in Center Gai in Shibuya, offering a one-coin gyoza set meal. It may be a bit hard to find since it's on the second floor of a building, but there is a sign so you should be able to spot it. The set meal includes 6 gyoza, rice, soup (with plenty of seaweed), and namul, all for just 500 yen which is surprisingly cheap! They also have other options like Luru rice that caught my eye. They have both counter and table seating, so it's easy to pop in and have a quick meal even if you're dining alone. You can choose between gyoza with chives and garlic, or without. Overall, the cost performance is great. If you're in Shibuya and looking for a good value meal when you're hungry, this is the place to go (gyoza is a complete meal after all)!
