Via Inn Higashi Ginza Breakfast Review Via Inn Group is a popular business hotel known for its breakfast offerings. Guests can choose between a set menu of Japanese or Western breakfast options, with a salad and freshly baked bread available in a half-buffet style. This time, I chose the Japanese breakfast option. - The rice is a blend of top-quality rice varieties from Yamagata, Iwate, and Miyagi prefectures. - The miso soup is a hearty vegetable miso soup with a generous amount of ingredients. - The side dishes are beautifully arranged in small plates divided into six sections. - The freshly baked bread in the half-buffet includes croissants, ham and cheese bread, with the croissant being a standout recommendation. While the rice, bakery items, and miso soup were excellent, the main dish seemed a bit lacking compared to the photos. Considering the breakfast price of 1200 yen, there are limitations, but improvements are desired. Breakfast Fee: 1,200 yen (tax included) Time: 6:30 am to 9:00 am Address: 2-15-13 Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 104-0045 Access: 3 minutes walk from Higashi Ginza Station Exit 5, 2 minutes walk from Tsukiji Station Exit 2 Parking: 1,500 yen per night in the multi-level parking lot Check-in: 3:00 pm to midnight Check-out: by 10:00 am Total Number of Rooms: 297 rooms #ViaInn #BusinessHotel #BreakfastBuffet #HotelBreakfast #Koshihikari #Sasanishiki #Hitomebore #Croissant

Breakfast. The breakfast at the second floor cafe terrace is available from 6:30 in the morning, which is convenient for business use. Due to the pandemic, all food items in the buffet are packed. The usual course is to start with Japanese side dishes along with rice, followed by bread. I begin by unpacking the items I brought to my seat on a tray. It's understandable as a measure against infection, but seeing the large amount of plastic and packaging makes me think about the environmental impact. Overall, I am satisfied with the meals at Vian.

【Introduction】A business hotel located near Tsukiji Station on the Hibiya Line. It was my first time staying here on a Sunday night. 【Taste】 - Breakfast: Free (included in the accommodation fee, I assume). It was a buffet-style breakfast with around 7-8 dishes. While the variety wasn't extensive, it was decent. I ended up switching from rice to bread on my plate to avoid it looking empty towards the end (haha). The taste was decent overall. I chose the beef consomme soup, which was flavorful with plenty of croutons. The yogurt and kiwi sauce were also delicious. 【Seating】 There were about 10 counter seats by the window, one large counter table for about 10 people facing each other, and around 10 table sets. The seating spacing was a bit narrow. The counter seats facing each other had small partitions, but they were ineffective as privacy screens. 【Cost-Performance】 While it wasn't exceptionally delicious, I was satisfied with the free breakfast considering the quantity and quality.

On a certain day in September 2019, I stayed at a hotel near Tsukiji Station, operated by JR West Japan. The price was 9,300 yen for the first night and 13,200 yen for the second night. I stayed in a Standard Single (smoking) room. Although I don't smoke, I feel that smoking rooms are quieter. The room did have a smell, but I got used to it. This plan includes breakfast. Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 9:30 in the cafeteria on the second floor, buffet style. They offer about 20 items including freshly baked bread, Japanese and Western dishes, and drinks. They also had a special dish of Yukari rice that day. I chose hamburger, omelet, simmered bamboo shoots, mountain vegetables, tofu, vegetables, natto, and miso soup. The Yukari rice was delicious, but I had regular rice for the natto. The coffee after the meal was from a machine and tasted good. I stayed for two nights, but only had breakfast here once. For the second night, I ate outside, but I think the breakfast here is of high quality. It was a long weekend, so the prices were a bit high, but normally it seems to be under 10,000 yen. Considering the location, I think it's a good deal. Thank you for the meal!

Convenient location within walking distance of Tsukiji Honganji Temple and Tsukiji Market. Breakfast is available on the 2nd floor. It is useful for both sightseeing and business purposes.

There are plenty of breakfast spots nearby because it's close to Tsukiji Market, but this hotel offers free breakfast. There are seats with a view from the window, making it bright and convenient to use. It's a great place for having coffee after a meal outside.

In December 2017, I stayed at this hotel in Tokyo for a business trip, which was free of charge. Following last month's stay, I decided to stay here again. According to the travel agency agent who arranged my ticket, the accommodation fee is cheaper until Monday, but it increases from Tuesday onwards. Luckily, my stay was on a Monday, so I chose this place. The location is near the Tsukiji 4-chome intersection on Harumi Street, with the nearest station being Tsukiji Station. The complimentary breakfast is available from 6:30 in the morning. I arrived at the breakfast venue at almost 6:30, and there were only a few customers, so I could choose my favorite table. This time, I had shredded cabbage, meatballs, omelet, okra and kelp stew, potato salad, four mini bread rolls, fruit punch, corn potage soup, and coffee. It was more than enough compared to my usual breakfast. One thing that caught my attention this time was that both pairs of disposable chopsticks were difficult to separate properly. I didn't try a third time, but it made it hard to eat. It seems like they have reduced the quality of the chopsticks to cut costs, so I hope they can improve that. Thank you for the meal.

During my November 2017 business trip to Tokyo, I stayed at Hotel Via Inn Higashi Ginza, located near Tsukiji Station. The hotel is part of the JR West Japan Group. It is conveniently close to Tsukiji Honganji Temple, Tsukiji Market, and Kabuki-za. My stay included a complimentary breakfast buffet, which I enjoyed at the second floor dining area from 6:30 am. The selection wasn't extensive, but the dishes were carefully chosen. I had curry and cheese mini breads, omelette, rolled kelp, meatballs, salad, mountain vegetables with shimeji mushrooms, potato salad, fruit punch, potage soup, and coffee. I arrived early and was able to secure a cozy table by the wall, allowing me to leisurely enjoy my breakfast. Thank you for the meal.

Opposite Tsukiji Honganji Temple, it takes less than 5 minutes from Higashi-Ginza Station. I stayed here because I had dinner plans nearby. There is a Lawson convenience store on the 1st floor of the hotel. The front desk is on the 2nd floor. Before getting on the elevator, there are tea, coffee, and newspapers available to take freely. The room has a compact business hotel feel. The TV is wall-mounted, there are outlets next to the bed, and there is wifi available. The bathroom is a bit small. The shampoo provided is Pola Shower Break. Breakfast is free and includes juice, soup, bread, onigiri, salad, and fruits. There are various flavors of onigiri and many different types of small bread.

The breakfast at this hotel, located a little over a 5-minute walk from Tsukiji Market, offers a choice between Japanese and Western cuisine. You can enjoy a buffet-style selection of salad, bread, rice, and miso soup. This time, I opted for the Western option, which was quite hearty and satisfying.

Today, I would like to introduce the hotel that I stayed at during my February business trip to Tokyo, the "Via Inn Higashi Ginza" located in Chuo Ward, Tokyo. The hotel is right in front of Tsukiji Market, and I was able to arrive there directly from Haneda Airport without any transfers. There is a convenience store right next to the hotel, which was very convenient. The room was very clean and had a luxurious feel to it. The hotel rates seem to range from around 10,000 to 12,000 yen per night. The hotel breakfast was included in the accommodation fee, so I decided to try it even though I usually prefer Japanese-style breakfast. It was a nice change to have such a stylish breakfast, although I felt a bit lonely as I am used to having a mix of Japanese and Western breakfast buffets in Sapporo where I often stay. The breakfast included freshly baked bread, salad, and even fruits, so I was satisfied. I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, and for the second breakfast, I purposely went to a famous "morning ramen" shop in Tsukiji Market. I hope to introduce it in a future blog post.
