I only had sashimi and yakitori on this day, but I have been here a couple of times before! I remember that the local chicken served in the course meal was delicious. The alcohol seems a bit weak, the soba is also delicious, and the sasami with mentaiko topping is incredibly tasty, so I recommend it. Update: I went again. It was very delicious!

I went on a Thursday around 1 o'clock with 2 people, without a reservation and no wait. I forgot what we ate, but it cost around 7000 yen for the two of us. There are smoking seats available. It's a izakaya that stays open late and I often go there. It can get crowded and you might not get a table, so it's better to call ahead to check. The dashi shabu broth was incredibly delicious and I finished it all in no time. It's great that you can order just one serving. All the other dishes were also delicious and the quality is high. Thank you for the meal!

A friend wanted to eat the soba here again, so I finished work early and went to Nipponichi for the second time. This time, we started with chicken karaage, two types of chicken skewers (plum and wasabi), and a Japanese-style potato salad with shiso and salted kelp. I forgot to take photos of everything except the karaage, but everything was delicious. The karaage was very juicy, but I especially liked the potato salad. It would go well with sake. Then we had the soba noodles. Last time we had two servings of soba with three dipping sauces, but this time we had three servings of soba with four dipping sauces. We also added the tofu sesame soup that we didn't try last time. The dipping sauces were all delicious. In the end, my friend concluded that the regular soba dipping sauce was the best, which makes sense as it really complements the delicious soba noodles. The restaurant was not as noisy as last time, and even though it was quite late, it was still busy. The manager seems to be from the Showa era, and there was J-POP music playing. The hospitality was a bit lacking, except for the sharp and attentive service from the older male staff member when we first arrived. Overall, the experience was good because the food was delicious.

Around 11:30 PM on Saturday, I initially tried to walk in but was told the restaurant was full. Five minutes later, I called and was informed that there was a table available. They have a wide selection of Japanese sake, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The recommended dish is the dashi shabu-shabu, but I was too full to try it. I will attempt it next time. The tempura was delicious.

I visited after a long time. The food was delicious as always. I had wine in the afternoon and enjoyed Satsuma-age (fried fish cake) and seared spicy cod roe. I forgot to take a picture of the Satsuma-age, I'm sorry. The soba I had was chicken dipping soba.

Before 6:00 PM, without a reservation. With a wide variety of seafood, yakitori, and shabu-shabu, it seems like a convenient place to visit. We ordered dishes that would go well with alcohol (Yahama wasabi pickles, mentaiko tempura, nagaimo pickles), yakitori, fresh oysters, and the restaurant's specialty Satsuma dashi shabu. The standout menu item is definitely the dashi shabu. I think anything would taste delicious with this broth. It was great that you could order just one serving. We added vegetables and meat a few times and enjoyed it.

I have visited this place several times, but I have yet to try the soba and dashi shabu (laughs). Every time I plan to have soba as a finish, but I always end up drinking plenty of sake and never make it there. On this day, I had some fresh oysters as my drink, and then just some yuba sashimi! I just kept drinking sake and the first round was over. There seems to be a lot of couples here. The staff are all young, but they work efficiently and provide friendly service. I definitely want to try the soba next time! Thank you for the meal.

I want to become a soba master around Shinjuku! I went to a new restaurant for the first time. It's a clean soba restaurant where even solo female customers can easily enter. The menu is very extensive at night, so I'd like to come back someday. The size of the parent and child bowl was just right and it was delicious.

In Kabukicho, they're open until 4 am. Instead of ramen, they serve soba noodles. The warm soba noodles are cooked perfectly al dente. The broth is delicious too. The tempura is also done by professionals. They have a wide selection of drinks, and the staff is efficient, so it's always full even late at night. Sorry for always taking side photos.

I visited this restaurant with the intention of trying their "pork shabu-shabu," which caught my attention since my last visit. It's not common to find a place that serves dishes like this around midnight, and the prices are reasonable too. This time, I enjoyed some lemon sour while eating dishes like grilled eggplant and fried taro before diving into the pork shabu-shabu. It was simple but delicious. Lastly, I mixed the dipping sauce with the soup from the pot to create a ramen-like broth, which was perfect after a night of drinking. The restaurant is bustling even late at night, with many people from the nearby nightlife scene. It's a very convenient izakaya.

On Sunday night, there aren't many places open at this time, but I decided to visit a popular spot that I had been wanting to try for a while. I managed to get in just in time and ordered the soba noodles, tempura, sake, yuba sashimi, and torotaku. The prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was decent, and the food was good. Overall, it was a satisfying experience and I will definitely consider visiting again, especially to try the pork shabu-shabu next time. Thank you for the meal.

This is a restaurant that stays open late and serves delicious food. I have been treated by someone twice, and I would love to visit this place again. The appetizers are perfect for those who love delicious food and alcohol, with seasonal items available. We opted for non-alcoholic beer, but if you drink alcohol, they have a great selection that goes well with it. The conger eel tempura and taro root tempura are exceptional dishes for the price. The local specialty called "ryukyu" involves marinating leftover sashimi of the day in soy sauce, mirin, sesame, and it is delicious. The beef harami steak is cooked perfectly and I would definitely come back for it. The kabosu soba has a refined broth, and you'll find yourself wanting to drink the soup endlessly. I also tried the grated radish soba on another day, but I prefer the kabosu soba. The buckwheat seeds are surprisingly addictive. When eaten with wasabi that comes with something, it gives the illusion of eating ochazuke. If you find yourself hungry late at night in Shinjuku, be sure to give this place a try.

There is a wide variety of soba noodles available, so I personally recommend trying something different like dipping soba instead of the usual cold noodles. They also have a great selection of appetizers and drinks, so it's a great place to just hang out. They even have shabu-shabu, which is a nice bonus! Everything I've ordered there has been delicious.

It's been a while since I last visited Nichinichi! Recently, when it comes to soba in Kabukicho, it's been all about extreme spiciness, but here is where it's at! I must have overlooked it before, but they have something called "Agedashi Natto Bomb." It's not what I expected – they place a natto bomb on top of the agedashi. It's amazing. Too good. Probably the best thing I've had this year (just a natto lover). And to finish off, soba! My companion tried the recommended "Tofu Tan Tan Soup," while I went for an adventurous choice, the "Tomato Cheese Soup." It was unexpectedly delicious. Overall, the soba itself here is delicious, so I highly recommend this place to everyone! Give it a try!笑

Last night's late-night food adventure took me to "Jiwatori Soba Dashi Shabu Nichinichi," a 24-hour soba restaurant in Kabukicho. I enjoyed duck broth soba and dashimaki tamago until 4 AM. I tried both thick and thin noodles, but the thick noodles had a better chew and overall satisfaction.

In mid-December 2021, I visited a gym in Kabukicho where I go, which finally reopened at the end of November. It had been two and a half years since I last went there. I heard that aerobic exercise is good for hearing loss and tinnitus, so this time I have been going quite frequently. And my post-exercise treat is a solo lunch. On this day, I chose a soba restaurant near the former "Tokyo Metropolitan Okubo Hospital," now called "Kousha Okubo Hospital." I had always been interested in this soba restaurant, but never had the chance to visit because they didn't serve lunch. I asked the staff and found out that they opened five years ago and have been offering lunch since the pandemic. It was a weekday afternoon around 1 pm with no other customers at first. Later, a few customers arrived. The restaurant had counter seats and table seats. I generally don't like sitting at the counter, so I enjoyed my meal alone at a table. I chose the 1300 yen "Tempura Soba" from the lunch menu. While sipping tea, I nibbled on the "Soba Seed Rice Crackers" placed on the table. After a while, the "Tempura Soba" arrived, looking elegant. It included tempura items like shrimp and about six others. I enjoyed it with salt and tempura dipping sauce. Both the soba and tempura were satisfying. Honestly, I have a bias that there are not many delicious restaurants in Kabukicho. However, this restaurant was really good.

I always have pork shabu-shabu for lunch and dinner, but this time I tried a course with all-you-can-drink option for the first time. For 5000 yen per person, we received so much food that we couldn't finish it all. Pork shabu-shabu is still the most delicious. Thank you for the meal! ◎

Tokyo Shinjuku. Near Kabukicho and Okubo Hospital. Entered during lunchtime. No guests. The staff greeted me with a cheerful voice, which was nice. The lunch menu had options other than soba, including rice dishes and set combinations with soba. I chose the walnut sauce lunch for 850 yen as the normal soba seemed plain. Since it was lunchtime, I got a free large portion. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm and seemed suitable for a relaxing evening drink. The dish arrived! It was beautifully presented. The rich walnut sauce was delicious. It was so rich that the dipping sauce ran out quickly. When I asked for a refill, I was told it would cost 450 yen, which I thought was too expensive for lunch. As I was preparing to leave, they kindly gave me a regular dipping sauce for free. I felt embarrassed. I need to be more careful about portion control next time. Thank you for the meal.

A delicious soba restaurant that is open from daytime. I haven't eaten soba much, but it's delicious here. Whenever I come here, I always have the pork shabu-shabu. It's full of vegetables and tastes great when dipped in the broth. It's not too crowded during the day to evening, which is nice. It's always busy at night.

I've been to this restaurant many times, but for some reason, I decided to try their shabu-shabu for the first time in the middle of summer, haha. Oh man, it was delicious! Shabu-shabu is always tasty, but this was exceptionally good. It's light and refreshing, perfect for summer. As always, this restaurant has a cozy atmosphere that I really like.
