During weekdays, it surprisingly wasn't crowded and I was able to enjoy a relaxing lunchtime. The terrace seats allowed smoking, so as a smoker, I could enjoy my meal while smoking. The lunch set was very filling and delicious. I will definitely go back again!

Exiting from Ochanomizu Station Seihashiguchi and walking down Awajizaka along the Chuo Line for 2 minutes, you will find Awajizaka Coffee, a hotel Juraku-san affiliated establishment, operating under the Chuo-Sobu Line viaduct from early morning at 7:30. The shop has seating on the 1st floor and basement. The 1st floor has three 4-person tables and terrace seating available. The terrace seating allows smoking and is located next to the Kanda River. The basement seating operates on a mobile ordering system. Upon my first visit at 10:30 am on a weekday, there was one customer seated on the 1st floor and another customer smoking on the terrace. While they offer a value breakfast set, I opted for the Pudding a la Mode for 900 yen and an Iced Coffee for 550 yen, bringing the total to 1450 yen. The dessert was beautifully presented with a firm pudding in the center, accompanied by vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, strawberries, kiwi, sliced apples on the right side, and whipped cream with a cherry, syrup-soaked orange, blueberries, and banana on the left side. The dessert was generously topped with whipped cream and assorted fruits, making it hard to believe it was only 900 yen. It was a delicious meal. The store is equipped with Wi-Fi and power outlets for customer convenience.

Located between Ochanomizu and Akihabara, this cafe allows for morning dining. The cafe is split into two floors and has a terrace seating area along the Kanda River. When I visited on a Sunday morning, there were people around but it wasn't too crowded, allowing for a relaxed atmosphere. The sandwiches were generous in size and made for a great start to the day!

After eating mutton curry at Eye Kitchen and feeling like having ice cream or gelato on the way back, I remembered that there was a place in front of Ochanomizu Station at the Seibashi intersection where I could eat it. But then I remembered that there was an unvisited shop down Awajizaka, one of the four Juraku-style shops called BRICK MALL. When I entered the shop, a staff member came and told me to go downstairs. Downstairs, I found out that water was self-service and orders were made through a mobile order system. I sat at a vacant counter seat and ordered an affogato (450 yen) on my smartphone. When I went to get water, I found a wet towel next to it. After a while, the affogato was brought to me. The affogato is an Italian dessert where you pour a drink over vanilla ice cream. The most popular style at this shop was pouring espresso over vanilla ice cream. The affogato is meant to be enjoyed as a dessert, so it's generally better not to pour too much of the drink, but the espresso at this shop was so delicious that I kept pouring it little by little while eating the vanilla ice cream. Even so, I still had about half of the espresso left when I finished. Ice cream after eating Indian curry spices is so delicious~♪ Now, since I made a detour to this shop, I should hurry back to the office. Payment can be made with PayPay. It was delicious, keep up the good work. Thank you for the meal.

Thanks to the points I received from Hot Pepper Gourmet, I had lunch at "Awajizaka Coffee," which became my favorite last time. I tried the morning menu Bacon Egg Sandwich Set, which I wanted to eat. I'm happy that the same menu and price are available on weekdays and weekends. My favorite lunch menu is the Shrimp, Salmon, and Avocado Sandwich, but I'll try a different menu because the bread is cold. The Thick Cut Pork Cutlet Sandwich for 1000 yen (tax included) comes with a drink. The cutlet was freshly fried, hot, juicy, and the toasted bread was incredibly delicious. The salad and fried potatoes were delicious with the perfect thickness. The Hot Lemonade had a mild flavor, so next time I want to try the Lemon Tea. The Coffee Jelly I received for following on Instagram is a genuine coffee jelly. Hot Pepper Gourmet, please give me points again.

The shop opens at 7:30 am. I stayed in the Kanda area the day before and was looking for a place to kill time in the morning. I found this shop and ordered the Morning Set (¥580). It came with hot coffee and a small red bean toast. The shop is located under the elevated train tracks, but you can't hear the train noise. The breakfast was elegant, and there weren't many people, so it was comfortable. The atmosphere is nice, with a cool vibe. I ended up staying for quite a while because it was so cozy. I saw a few foreign customers too. Maybe this place is in guidebooks or something.

I ordered the Egg Sandwich Lunch Set (850 yen). The sandwich was filled with plenty of eggs on toasted bread, making it very satisfying to eat. It also came with salad and potatoes, so just this alone was filling. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm, and the tables were equipped with power outlets. It seems like a good environment for working alone.

One day, I spent my morning at this café - "Awajizaka Coffee" located between Kanda Station and Ochanomizu Station, under the Chuo Line viaduct. The interior of the café has a cozy, semi-underground feel. There is also a terrace facing the Kanda River where smoking is allowed. Despite being under the viaduct, the noise of the trains is not bothersome. The morning menu includes toast, egg toast, French toast, bacon and egg sandwich, and rice flour pancakes, all served with a drink and salad. Orders can be placed through the table's QR code. I ordered the "Bacon and Egg Sandwich Set" for 680 yen, which includes bacon, egg, salad, and a drink. The sandwich was more substantial than expected, with crispy bacon, juicy egg, and just the right amount of Aurora sauce. The salad had a spicy dressing, and I chose a café latte as my drink, which was delicious. The café serves morning from 7:30 am on both weekdays and weekends, making it convenient. I am interested in trying their egg sandwich for lunch, so I hope to visit again when the timing is right.

I was torn between the pork cutlet sandwich and the shrimp sandwich, but I made the right choice with the pork cutlet sandwich. It was satisfying and delicious. The BLT was much lighter in flavor than I expected. The terrace seating provided a relaxing environment to take a break from the lively Akihabara area.

Thanks to Hot Pepper Gourmet, I received points and had lunch at "Awajisaka Coffee." It's been a while since I tried a new place. The store is very modern. I want to try the Morning Menu Bacon Egg Sandwich Set. The menu and prices are the same on weekdays and weekends, which is great. I had the Lunch Menu Shrimp Salmon Avocado Sandwich, priced at 1150 yen (tax included) with a drink. When I ate the Shrimp Salmon Avocado Sandwich, I was surprised by how cold it was. It was delicious with cream cheese in it. The salad and fries were also delicious. I chose hot tea, which was served in a pot with plenty to drink. I will definitely come back, and next time I want to try a hot sandwich.

On my day off, I sat on the terrace seat enjoying the refreshing breeze and morning sun. The sunlight was dazzling but the day was a bit chilly, making it pleasant. Beyond the Kanda River, I could see the Chuo Line elevated railway and Shohei Bridge. The gradually expanding hustle and bustle was just right for me. (For those who dislike sunburn or noise, the indoor seating may be better.) I ordered the egg toast set (630 yen) and the original blend coffee. The lightly toasted bread with egg and mayonnaise was perfect for my mood and delicious. The original blend coffee had a good balance of acidity and bitterness. I prefer a bit stronger flavor, but for a morning coffee, this was just right. Next time, I'll relax on the sofa inside the restaurant. I'm starting my day in a very good mood!

Originating from Japan, the ketchup-flavored Napolitan pasta is an interesting dish found on the menu of a cafe. The noodles are typically left overnight after being boiled, but in this case, they seem to be simply boiled and then sautéed with ketchup. The dish lacks the expected dry and junky texture, instead appearing somewhat soupy. It includes ingredients like sausages and green peppers, with a half-cooked sunny-side-up egg on top, which is personally preferred for its slightly runny yolk. The dish is served with powdered cheese and Tabasco sauce, with the cheese forming clumps due to the cold temperature of the dish. The Quattro Formaggi pizza is square-shaped and lacks distinctive features, with a thin crust and small portion size. Desserts like the custard pudding a la mode and coffee jelly parfait are also available, with the former being slightly firm and lacking bitterness in the caramel, while the latter features small ice cream portions but a good balance of sweetness and bitterness in the coffee jelly. Overall, the desserts are enjoyable, with the coffee jelly affogato being a favorite for its strong espresso flavor paired with sweet ice cream.

I came to the cafe for reading and coffee. The name of the cafe already sounds like they have delicious coffee. I was seated by the window overlooking the Kanda River, which was lovely. The interior had a beautiful design with arched steel beams. The unique scallop shape of the R was cool. I ordered a BLT egg sandwich with a hot coffee for 1,000 yen. The coffee was hot, not too acidic, and had a deep flavor, easy to drink. The sandwich with potatoes included was fresh and juicy with tomatoes. They also have wifi, so it seems like a great place to read a book in the morning. Thank you for the meal!

I discovered a stylish cafe near JR Ochanomizu Station, under the elevated tracks heading towards Akihabara. The underground space leading down to the Kanda River is quite charming. I ordered an 'Iced Cafe Latte' for 600 yen. I sat by the window, but unfortunately, the embankment was too high, so I couldn't see the flow of the Kanda River. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my Iced Cafe Latte while looking at the embankment. It's a calming space.

From the morning menu, I ordered a bacon and egg sandwich. For lunch, I usually go for something more filling, but in the morning, something light is the way to go. The salad consisted of sunny lettuce with red and yellow bell peppers. It was small but had a good taste and colorful appearance. The bacon lettuce sandwich was made with three thin slices of toast, each layered with fillings in between. It was held together with toothpicks, which I recommend leaving in to prevent it from falling apart. The bacon had a savory aroma and was generously fatty. The eggs were roughly mixed with both yolk and white, allowing for different textures to be enjoyed. The combination of eggs and bacon, with their sweetness and saltiness, naturally complemented each other. It was quite delicious, although towards the end, it did start to fall apart. I ended up pushing it together with my hands before finishing it off. Another item I tried was the rice flour pancake from the morning menu. The mini salad was the same as the other items. The pancake was simple, with just margarine and syrup. It had a strong salty taste, but when paired with syrup, the balance of sweetness and saltiness was just right. Comparing it to the bacon and egg sandwich at the same price, I felt more satisfied with the sandwich. During lunchtime, the set menu included sandwich options from the grand menu. I was interested in three items: the egg sandwich, the shrimp salmon avocado sandwich, and the thick pork cutlet sandwich. First, the egg sandwich was made with boiled eggs left whole without mashing them. The taste was similar to a regular egg sandwich, with the texture of the egg whites being enjoyable. The standout was the thick pork cutlet sandwich, which surprised me with its deliciousness. The freshly fried cutlet was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The purple cabbage added a nice crunch and visual appeal, with plenty of mayo sauce. It was a great value for lunch. However, the shrimp salmon avocado sandwich was disappointing. It was quite bland, lacking in flavor and overall satisfaction. The blend coffee had a bitter taste that was not unpleasant, with minimal acidity. It was brewed fresh to order in the morning. As the bitterness was strong, it seemed better as an iced coffee as time passed. A refill during the morning was only 250 yen. The cold brew iced coffee had a pleasant aroma and a rich taste. For lunch, you could also choose a soy latte, which had a hint of soy flavor but was not overpowering, with a mild coffee bitterness and no added sweetness. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

Before work, I wanted to go to a cafe I had never been to before, so I decided to check out a retro coffee shop that had caught my eye. However, it turned out that they closed at 4 pm that day. I searched for other options and found Awajizaka Coffee along the Kanda River under the JR elevated railway. I was surprised to find that it had two floors, and I chose to sit on the lower floor. I ordered a milk crepe (600 yen) and a cafe latte (600 yen). The crepe had kiwi, orange, whipped cream, and blueberries on top. There is also Wi-Fi available, and I noticed some people working on their laptops at the back tables. I preferred to relax and gaze out the window. The staff seemed to be managing both floors by themselves, which looked challenging. This place might be a hidden gem. I will definitely visit again.

The cafe has Wi-Fi and power outlets, making it convenient for meetings or work. I didn't plan on getting a set menu, but I was drawn to the picture of the egg sandwich and ended up ordering it. You can get a refill of coffee or tea for 250 yen. The egg sandwich didn't look as good as in the photo, and the taste was just average. Overall, it's a cafe that is easy to use for any purpose.

A hidden gem café in Ochanomizu where you can choose your seat freely. They offer a variety of morning sets that you can customize. If the weather is nice, the terrace seats are recommended. The toast is lightly toasted and simple, perfect for those who prefer a light meal.

The brick construction under the elevated structure gives the impression of Yurakucho and Shinbashi. However, Ochanomizu Awajizaka has a sense of openness as the buildings are not close by. In this area where about four eateries are lined up, there is a cafe called "Awajizaka Coffee." The seating is located underground, with a stylish and spacious layout. This time, I took a break from walking with a former colleague. We ordered a "Cafe Latte (600 yen)" and a "Blend (500 yen)" for drinks, along with a "Mille Crepe (600 yen)" and a "Tiramisu (650 yen)" for sweets. There are no set menus, so we ordered individual items. The fruit-filled Mille Crepe was delicious. The Tiramisu had a strong cream flavor and was a bit loose. Overall, the cafe had a very nice atmosphere. It also offers free Wi-Fi, which is a great service. I hope this becomes a standard practice in cafes.
