In July of the 23rd year, I visited a horumon (offal) yakiniku restaurant located a little over a 5-minute walk from the north exit of Chofu Station on the Keio Line. The restaurant is situated along a slightly spacious street where buses also pass by. After attending a small event nearby, I felt like having something to eat and searched for a place that was still open, which led me to this restaurant. Although it felt a bit far from the station when walking, I was able to find a seat without any issues. I sat at the counter seat for two in front of the kitchen by myself and ordered a horumon platter (1,440 yen), white senmai (thinly sliced beef intestine) sashimi (680 yen), and a glass of Hakushu whiskey (940 yen). The senmai sashimi was thinly sliced but had a good chewy texture and paired well with the alcohol. The horumon platter included a selection of four types of offal available that day: nodoshira (throat), guts core, chewy texture, and miso-flavored horumon. With just a short time on the grill, all the offal tasted fresh, but the chewy texture (I think) stood out the most. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was relatively calm, making it easy for even a solo diner to feel comfortable. It was a short yet enjoyable dining experience, and since this restaurant is affiliated with a well-known establishment in Chofu, I believe the taste is quite consistent. Thank you for the meal.

On a Sunday evening, the restaurant was packed with families, elderly couples, and various other customers. The two of us were seated at a counter seat in the back. We ordered the restaurant's specialties: "Negi Liver," "Samgyupsal," "P-tsuk," as well as "White Senmai Sashimi," "Garlic Harami," "Tare Harami," and "Spicy Cold Noodles." The "White Senmai Sashimi" that arrived first was firm and had a light salty flavor. It was delicious even without the vinegar miso. The "Negi Liver" was cooked thoroughly as recommended, and the liver was tender and juicy with a rich flavor enhanced by the green onion salt topping. The "Samgyupsal" was served in bite-sized pieces with sweet miso and spicy miso for wrapping in lettuce. It was tasty. The "P-tsuk" consisted of hot grilled meatballs sandwiched between cold raw green peppers, dipped in egg yolk. The experience of combining flavors at your own table was enjoyable. The "Garlic Harami" and "Tare Harami" were cooked perfectly, remaining tender and juicy despite our amateur grilling skills. The "Spicy Cold Noodles" had a refreshing Japanese taste with bonito broth and adjustable spiciness, making it a perfect ending dish. The only minor complaint was the lack of depth in the counter seat table, making it inconvenient for sharing dishes between two people. Overall, we were satisfied with the quality and seasoning of the dishes. It was a fun night slowly grilling and enjoying the hormone meats with a little bit of alcohol.

I stopped by here after finding out that the restaurant I was originally planning to visit was closed. It turns out this place is quite popular! I sat at the counter since I was dining alone. I had traveled far today, so I started with a beer to quench my thirst, and then I ordered hormone (offal) to boost my energy. The signature dish, Negi Liver, was truly amazing. The liver was lightly grilled and topped with a green onion sauce, creating a perfect combination of tender liver and crunchy green onions. I later found out that this place is part of the "Ishii" group, known for their delicious liver dishes. The energetic staff, including a cute new employee, were all working hard.

In Chofu, had a meal at a hormone restaurant where they don't provide sauce on the side. Everything is already seasoned and served, but it's delicious without feeling lacking in flavor!!! They have rare cuts that you don't see often elsewhere, and the boiled tongue was so good that I wanted seconds♪ The raw senmai was different from what I usually eat, more like a snack, but the seasoning was addictively tasty (*´∀`*) From the appetizers to the cold noodles at the end, everything was just delicious. If you love hormone dishes, this is the place to go. Thank you for the meal♪

I was passing by and was curious, so I came here. The atmosphere is relaxed with tables equipped with a stove. There is also a counter at the back. The ordering process is done at the table, no bill is given. The restaurant was about 90% full, with families, groups of friends, and couples. I arrived at 17:40, received the first dish at 17:53, the second at 17:56, and the third at 18:01. The service was a bit slow, with staff not responding immediately when called. The menu mainly consists of motsu-yaki (grilled offal). The sauce is chosen by the chef, but some meats are not clearly labeled with which sauce they come with. There is no parking available. The dishes were fresh, with items like liver being particularly good. The heat is strong, so it's best to grill one piece at a time. The soup was too salty, but overall, I would give it a 3.5 rating. The appetizers were not very impressive, but the tsukune, liver, and miso hormone were delicious.

I visited after 10 years! The leek liver, just like in the past, was exceptionally delicious. Personally, the raw egg over rice and grilled short ribs were the best! The inside of the restaurant was cold, and the salted hormone had a slightly strong odor. The restaurant is non-smoking, but having a smoking area outside is also appreciated!

Fresh Hormone Pork Style Chofu Chofu is said to be the place for hormone, and this shop from the Ishi Group handles fresh hormone. They offer fresh meat and affordable dishes, which is great. They even have a counter where you can enjoy grilling your own internal organ meats. It's a bit far from the station, but it's worth coming all the way here for the delicious food. Highly recommended are the tongue and sunazuri (tripe). The fresh ingredients provide a nice crunchy texture. I often visit this place alone. Arrival was around 18:30, no other customers... Oh no... Is everything okay... I thought. The staff were a young guy and a lady, but they seemed reliable. First, I ordered a draft beer and toasted by myself!! First, I ordered the green onion liver. The young guy seemed to be well-trained. Next, the crispy dish, the recommended menu here is the green onion liver!! The green onion liver is made from fresh pork liver. It's pork liver, but... it's a deadly dish! Eat at your own risk!! It's delicious!! I didn't feel sick the next day, I stayed healthy haha The crispy dish is, of course, crispy and tasty. It has fatty and non-fatty parts, so you can taste two different flavors at once. Next, I had thick-cut pork tongue. This is pork tongue, but honestly, it doesn't have to be thick-cut (laughs) It's thin, so it's good. Next, I had pork esophagus. Personally, this is also a highly recommended dish. It has a crispy texture with no fat, perfect for those who want to enjoy a crispy texture. And next, I had heart. Another dish to eat at your own risk!! It's delicious... I'm glad to be alive, that's how good it was. It's so fresh, it's pork!! After that, I was taking photos, and the lady seemed interested, so I showed them to her. She was happy to see them. It's a mirrorless camera, so the pictures turn out pretty good (laughs) She mentioned that the handsome boss from the past is now at the Sengawa branch. I might go visit him after a long time. Anyway, I recommend this place!! But since it's specialized in pork, it's recommended for pork lovers only haha.

I arrived at the restaurant at 9 pm on a Sunday, the last day of a 3-day weekend, and it was almost full. I was seated at a table and ordered a Kirin Ichiban Shibori draft beer, which was delicious and refreshing. Next, I tried the fresh liver sashimi, which had a firm texture and great flavor. I also ordered grilled liver with salt seasoning, which was amazing. I noticed that when ordering liver, the default is with sauce, but the staff kindly asked if I preferred it with salt instead. I also tried the throat meat, fatty tuna, heart, beef kalbi, and raw egg over rice, all of which were fresh and delicious. The heart was especially tasty. Overall, this is a top-notch yakiniku restaurant with a clean atmosphere, great service, high-quality meat, and good value for money. A must-visit in Chofu. Thank you for the wonderful meal. I would love to try their all-you-can-eat and drink option for 4 people with a reservation made 3 days in advance next time!

I am not a fan of "horumon" (offal), and I never actively seek out horumon dishes or order them at yakiniku restaurants. However, "Butafu" is an exception! My perception of horumon completely changed at this restaurant. I have loved it since the days when it was a run-down place before moving to its current location. The quality of the ingredients and the seasoning that brings out their flavors are outstanding. The absolute best dish is the "amireba." It is so delicious that anyone I bring there is always impressed. When making a reservation, I always make sure to secure the amireba so it doesn't run out! While I may not wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant, searing the surface and eating it rare in the center is the best way to enjoy it. I usually order the assorted platter to try different cuts, and if there is a specific flavor I want, I ask for it to be mixed in, like miso flavor. The negi liver is also highly recommended! The special negi sauce is just incredibly delicious and a favorite of mine. Apart from horumon, the sesame leaf onigiri and kimchi hot pot are recommended as a satisfying way to end the meal. The enoki mushrooms are especially tasty! You really can't go wrong with anything you order here! The manager and staff are also fantastic! Thank you always.

I entered Tonpukura as I had been curious about it for a while in order to have an early evening drink. As soon as it opened at 5:00, I went in. The menu for horumon (offal) was very extensive! I had a hard time deciding, but ended up ordering negi-reba (leek with liver), mino (rumen), harami (skirt meat), kalbi (short rib), thick-cut tongue, Korean seaweed, raw beef intestines, and Tokyo hayashi rice. Everything was delicious! Especially the negi-reba, tongue, and hayashi rice! The negi-reba, being the signature dish, was exquisite with the liver cooked thoroughly and topped with plenty of leeks. The thick-cut tongue was initially too thick, making it difficult to cook, but it was chewy and juicy. And to finish off, the Tokyo hayashi rice! The dark roux had a rich flavor, paired well with the rice, and I couldn't help but mix it all together. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I couldn't have alcohol because I was driving, but the non-alcoholic drink was still delicious. The tsukemen was especially tasty. I'll try the alcoholic drink next time!

The food is very delicious and satisfying, but even though it's all-you-can-eat, I always get told that the items I want are sold out and I can't eat them. Last time, they said they didn't have sashimi, cold noodles, oi kimchi, and the meat I wanted to eat. It feels like they are saying no to people who want to eat a lot! That's the only disappointing part!
