After finishing my business in Asakusa, I decided to stop by this restaurant for lunch, which seemed to be Instagram-worthy. The interior of the restaurant is small with two 4-person tables and four 2-person tables. I ordered the Upper Rare Steak Don for 3000 yen, with different cuts of meat available starting from 2000 yen. I chose the one that looked the most tender. There are also options for 5000 yen and 6000 yen. The steak that came out was as beautiful as in the picture. It was indeed tender and easy to eat. The recommended way to eat it is to eat 1/3 as is, dip 1/3 in egg, and mix the remaining 1/3 with beef dashi and condiments, like a Hitsu-mabushi style. I personally ate it in quarters and savored the last quarter as is.

On a regular day at noon, there are about 16 seats in the restaurant. I was able to get in without waiting, and the service was quick. I ordered the Upper Rare Steak Don for 3000 yen. It was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed it as is, then added a raw egg, and finished by making ochazuke with the broth. It was a luxurious lunch experience.

I went to Asakusa and tried the top-quality rare steak set that I wanted to eat! It was my first time in Asakusa in a while, and I was a little surprised by the crowds. There were many tourists from overseas, and lots of people dressed in yukata walking around taking pictures. We had to line up at the restaurant, and it was hot under the sun... It took 40 minutes, and we definitely needed a parasol... We lined up from around 1 pm and ended up having lunch after 2 pm. After waiting in the heat, when we finally entered the restaurant, I was impressed by how cool it was inside, almost like being in Disneyland. I quickly drank some cold tea and ordered the top-quality rare steak set that I had decided on. Meat is the source of energy!! I glanced at the blackboard next to me and saw where the meat was from all over the country. It was the carefully selected meat recommended for that day. The top-quality rare steak set arrived without much wait, and the meat was beautiful, tender, and delicious! I divided it into three parts, first eating it as it is, then with the egg, and the rest with hittsumabushi. You can enjoy three different delicious ways in one meal. Personally, I preferred eating it with the egg, but the hittsumabushi with the beef broth was also good! It was a lunch that I truly felt was worth eating! Thank you for the meal! Next time I go, I'll make sure to be prepared for lining up and go when it's not too hot or cold.

My wife mentioned she had never been to Asakusa, so today we visited Asakusa Temple. For lunch, we tried the Instagrammable "Rare Steak Don" at this place for the first time. After waiting in line for an hour under the glaring sun, we finally got in. We had the Rare Steak Don with "Black Wagyu Rib Eye & Rump" (3,000 yen). First, we tried the meat as it is. Then we broke the yolk over it. Lastly, we enjoyed it as a rice bowl with beef soup. The meat was not too fatty, light, and made you feel like you were really eating meat. It was delicious when paired with the yolk for richness. The rice bowl was refreshing, and we enjoyed the various flavors until the last bite. It was so tasty! Thank you for the meal!

Recently, I went to a restaurant in Asakusa that I had been eyeing on TikTok for a while. I arrived around 2 pm, which is considered an off-peak time, so I was able to get in quickly. The restaurant had four tables for four people and one table for two, and it was small but clean. The staff, especially the female server, were very friendly. When I asked for recommendations, she suggested trying the "Rare" (2,000 yen) and "Extra Rare" (3,000 yen) steaks for two people. However, I decided to splurge and ordered the Melt-in-Your-Mouth Fillet Steak (5,000 yen) and the Extra Rare steak to compare. The server provided a guide on how to eat the steak, and I followed it step by step. The steak was delicious whether eaten as is, with egg, or with beef bone soup poured over it. Both the Melt-in-Your-Mouth Fillet and Extra Rare steaks were so tasty that I couldn't really tell the 2,000 yen price difference. I will definitely revisit this restaurant in the future. This time, the bill came to 8,000 yen for two people, so I would rate it 3.7 out of 5 in terms of cost-effectiveness.

Last year, a steak bowl specialty shop opened in Asakusa. It is a sister store of the popular Doll-cho shop that went viral on social media a while back, located near Senso-ji Temple, making it perfect for tourists! When I visited on a rainy weekday at 4:00 PM, it was calm, but I heard that there can be long lines during weekends at lunchtime. Menu consists of steak bowls and grilled meat bowls (domestic beef ribs) only. There are several types of steak depending on the cut, and on this day, I had the ribeye and rump steak ✨ It comes with egg, pickles, miso soup, condiments, and broth, which can be enjoyed as is, mixed with egg yolk, or made into a broth-soaked rice dish with condiments and broth! Using the egg yolk with a special utensil was a bit fun♡ The broth is made from domestic beef and is rich and delicious! If you love meat and bold flavors, you will definitely like it. My favorite way to eat it is like a broth-soaked rice dish♡♡

There was a shop quietly tucked away behind the main street of Asakusa. Inside the shop, there were four two-seater tables and two sunken hearths, making it a cozy space. The Wagyu beef bowl in the center costs about 2000 yen. It is delicious on its own, and even better with wasabi as a condiment. Adding a raw egg yolk enhances the flavor, as it is rich and tasty. Finally, adding beef dashi turns it into a tea rice-like dish. The beef dashi is so delicious that you can even enjoy it as a soup on its own.

The meat was very tender, but I didn't feel the full flavor of the meat, so it left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. Next, I tried eating it with an egg on top, and the rich yolk balanced out the flavors very well, making it delicious. I thought I should have eaten it this way from the beginning. Lastly, I made it into a tea rice bowl. The soup was made from beef broth, so I could taste the umami of the beef, but towards the end, it felt a bit heavy.

Visited with a friend. A restaurant that uses Japanese beef. Ordered the middle cut of meat with three different dishes. The rare meat was of high quality, tender, and incredibly delicious.
