★4.0 [FILE 4063] On May 12, 2023 (Friday) at 12:15, I visited a dining establishment that opened three months ago on February 8, 2023, in a quiet residential area behind the 7th block of the First Keihin Road in Takanawa. I made a reservation four days ago and visited the place. The interior of the restaurant has a calm atmosphere with a white and wood theme. One unique feature is that you ring a chime at the entrance to call the staff, then change into slippers at the entrance before entering. There are table seats in the room to the left upon entering, as well as table and sofa seats in the room at the back, totaling 18 seats, providing a spacious and relaxed environment. There were no other customers when I visited. Later, only two groups of three people each arrived, so it was relatively quiet. The customer base consisted of 70% women and 30% men. The service was provided by one male staff member and one female staff member, who were both polite and gentle. The lunch menu includes: Japanese cuisine - Daily Japanese set meal for 2,200 yen (tax included) - Pork shoulder loin in Saikyo style for 1,760 yen (tax included) - Seasonal mixed rice for 1,540 yen (tax included) - Lunch drink for an additional 200 yen (tax included) Western cuisine - Daily Western set meal for 1,760 yen (tax included) - Hamburger steak for 1,980 yen (tax included) - Seafood curry rice for 1,320 yen (tax included) - Clam chowder for 1,200 yen (tax included) - Lunch drink for an additional 200 yen (tax included) Limited to 10 meals lunch - Japanese cuisine for 1,100 yen (tax included) - Western cuisine for 1,100 yen (tax included) - Lunch drink for an additional 100 yen (tax included) Course meals (reservation required, for 2 people or more) - Lunch course for 3,000 yen (tax included) The daily Japanese set meal for 2,200 yen was ordered, and it was served 18 minutes after ordering. The meal included mixed rice, side dishes, a 2-piece sashimi platter, grilled fish, steamed egg custard, miso soup, and pickles. The mixed rice was delicious with edamame, corn, and whitebait. The side dish was a light and tasty simmered dish of taro, burdock, carrot, konjac, and lotus root. The sashimi platter featured squid and mackerel sashimi served with shredded purple cabbage and was refreshing and tasty. The grilled fish was salmon in Saikyo style, accompanied by a tamagoyaki with whitebait, spinach, shiitake mushrooms, and carrots. The salmon was moist and flavorful, with a rich Saikyo miso taste. The steamed egg custard contained crab, shrimp, clams, and shiitake mushrooms, which was very delicious. The miso soup had meatballs and tofu, and the pickles were a simple pickled dish of carrots, cucumbers, and radishes. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere with a white and wood theme. Various cashless payment options were available for settling the bill. The daily Japanese set meal for 2,200 yen includes grilled fish, a 2-piece sashimi platter, steamed egg custard, side dishes, rice, miso soup, and pickles. This time, I requested to change the rice to mixed rice. The room I was guided to was spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful service, providing a pleasant dining experience with satisfying dishes.
