It seems that a specialty shop for Tantanmen has started serving Beef Bone Ramen. Is it a recent trend? I ordered the Salt flavor. The smell was unique. Maybe because of the salt, it tasted a bit strong and salty. I think Tantanmen was better. But next time, I'll try the Soy Sauce flavor.

I was only able to enter on my third visit, as they only accepted cash and were closed when I went at night. I thought it was just a counter, but there were seats in the back as well, so I had a solo lunch there. The noodles were thin and had a good chew, which I enjoyed as a fan of thin noodles. I chose the rich tantanmen with a strong shrimp flavor. There were condiments on the table, so I could make it milder with black vinegar, spicier with Sichuan pepper, or add heat with chili oil, allowing me to finish the bowl without getting tired of it. I even felt like I could have eaten a bit more. The restaurant suggested ordering rice for those who feel that way, but if they had small portions of rice available, I would have liked to order some.

I visited the restaurant "Men-dokoro Ichiryu" in Niifumachi. On this day, I visited the shop directly with 2 people at 13:30. We sat at the seat at the back of the counter and bought food tickets at the ticket machine. First, we had a small bottle of beer (450 yen), shrimp wonton (300 yen), chewy dumplings (300 yen), and chashu (200 yen). The dumplings had a chewy texture and were delicious. The shrimp wonton had a strong shrimp flavor. The chashu was very tender and tasty. After drinking and eating a bit, we had the special rich tantanmen (1,100 yen). The soup was very rich and had a strong shrimp flavor, which was delicious. The noodles were thin and had a good chewy texture, but personally, I didn't quite like them. The soup was delicious though. Thank you for the meal. [Food Received] - Shrimp Wonton (300 yen) - Chewy Dumplings (300 yen) - Chashu (200 yen) - Special Rich Tantanmen (1,100 yen) [Drinks Received] - Small Bottle of Beer (450 yen) x3 Price: 4 Taste: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Cleanliness: 5 Seat Space: 3 Service Speed: 4 Service: 4 Customer Service: 4 Menu Variety: 4 Date-Friendly: 4/5 points [Personal Memo] Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes (2 people) Total Cost: 2,500 yen

I stopped by on a whim and decided to try this place today because I was in the mood for tantanmen. I found this place by searching on a food app. The noodles were quite original and looked very healthy, resembling konjac noodles. They had a nice chewy texture.

Here at the back of the shop, there is a ticket vending machine, but I didn't realize it at first and ended up sitting at the counter to order. The staff recommended the tantanmen, but I decided to go with the beef bone miso ramen today. I was expecting a rich ramen, but it turned out to be quite light and elegant in flavor. I thought it would be a good ramen for a drinking party finale.

"Menjo Ichiryu" is a specialty restaurant in Shin-Tomi Town that serves tantan-men noodles. It has a main store in Asakusa and a total of 13 branches nationwide, including Sapporo, Morioka, Utsunomiya, Shinbashi, and Akasaka. The owner and chef, Kei Yagita, trained in Beijing before working as head chef at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. He is also the owner of a high-end Chinese restaurant called "Shin Kanton Cai Kashin." The extremely thin noodles paired with a rich sesame shrimp tantan soup are delicious, although there is room for improvement in the operation. #Ramen #Tantanmen #RamenShop #RamenTour #Lunch #Shin-Tomi Town #Shin-Tomi Town Lunch #Shin-Tomi Town Gourmet #Tsukiji #Tsukiji Lunch #Tsukiji Gourmet #TopRestaurant #Gourmet #TokyoGourmet #TokyoGourmetTrip #GourmetTour #GourmetReview #Gurufuk Ambassador #TokyoGourmet #TokyoGourmetReport #f4f #Ramen #Lunch #Noodle #Shrimp #RamenNoodles #Tokyo #Gourmet"

Ah, I had been passing by this ramen shop and was curious about it. So, I went to Men Dokoro Ichiryu Shintomi-cho for dinner. There was one group of customers inside. There is a ticket machine at the back of the counter, where you insert cash and press the button to order. I ordered a small bottle of beer (Super Dry) for 450 yen, Special Rich Tan Tan Men for 1100 yen, and Chewy Water Dumplings for 300 yen. First, I poured the beer and made a toast to myself. It's always a pleasant moment when I start drinking beer every day. After a while, the Tan Tan Men and water dumplings arrived. The Tan Tan Men had a creamy sesame soup with a beautiful contrast of green chives and red chili oil, creating a festive Christmas color scheme. The noodles were very thin and delicate. When mixed with the rich sesame soup, the intense aroma of sesame spread throughout my mouth, making it very delicious. The water dumplings were indeed chewy and had a delightful texture. The beer went well with the food. As I ate, more customers came in, and the restaurant quickly became full. It seems to be quite a popular place. The staff were friendly, and I definitely want to come back again. Thank you for the meal. I will be back!

<Visit Time> Around 1 pm on a holiday. There were 3 empty seats at the counter. <Order> Rich and creamy tantanmen (1,100 yen) with rice (100 yen). The order arrived in about 5 minutes. The noodles were very thin. The soup was quite thick and creamy. The dish had a stylish presentation. Not only the appearance, but the taste was also delicious, which explains why the place is always crowded. The rich and creamy soup made it a perfect dish that went well with rice. Thank you for the meal.

I revisited the restaurant because I had a delicious experience with their rich tantanmen before. This time, I tried their new menu item, miso ramen, after debating between that and the beef bone salt ramen. It was surprisingly delicious, with a concentrated umami flavor that sets it apart from other ramen I've had. I'll definitely be going back to try the salt ramen next time!

When it's cold, I always go for hot ramen, so I decided to visit this shop I haven't tried yet. The sign outside only had dan dan noodle menu, but when I looked at the ticket machine inside, there were also "Beef Bone Salt Ramen" and "Beef Bone Miso Ramen", as well as tsukemen menu. Since I'm not a fan of spicy chili oil, I chose the Beef Bone Salt Ramen for ¥1,000. The amount of soup was decent and it was a comforting bowl on a chilly day. However, the saltiness of the soup and the low cost performance for ¥1,000 made me think that maybe getting a set meal at a diner would be better.

Located a 2-minute walk from exit 3 of Shinbashi Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line, a 5-minute walk from exit A2 of Hatchobori Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, and a 6-minute walk from exit 4 of Tsukiji Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, this popular restaurant is known for its tantanmen noodles. Particularly popular is the soupless tantanmen, as two groups of customers were seen enjoying it. Due to the cold weather, I ordered the Special Tantanmen for 1100 yen. The rich sesame flavor is outstanding, and I was surprised by the thinness of the noodles. The ultra-thin noodles allow the sesame soup to cling to them perfectly. The soup contains dozens of Chinese medicinal herbs, adding depth to the flavor, with a hint of dried shrimp. The chili oil also adds a nice kick. Delicious. Instagram ID: kuidaore.8.

Today, I went to work in Shin-Tomicho with a girl from my favorite company. It was almost noon, so I introduced her to a place that serves my favorite dish, tantanmen. We were the first customers since the restaurant had just opened. I ordered the "Special Rich Tantanmen" with an extra serving of noodles, while the girl ordered the "Special Soupless Tantanmen." We sat at the counter seats at the back of the restaurant, handed our meal tickets to the staff, and waited for our orders. My "Special Rich Tantanmen" arrived first, and the aroma of sesame and shrimp chili oil surprised the girl. I mixed the dish and lifted the ultra-thin noodles for her to see, which surprised her even more. Next, her "Special Soupless Tantanmen" arrived, emitting a scent of "Sichuan pepper" that seemed numbing. I added chili oil and Sichuan pepper to my dish midway through, got an extra serving of noodles before finishing the first one, added vinegar for another flavor change, and completed my meal, including finishing the soup. The girl also added more chili oil and finished her meal. As we left the restaurant, she exclaimed, "It was delicious!" I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Tsukemen without soup for 950 yen. I usually line up on weekdays, so I tried going on a holiday and there was no one ahead of me! Hmm... I prefer the chewy noodles over the thin, crunchy ones. Also, the spiciness and numbness were completely lacking! I ended up putting too much sansho pepper and chili oil from the table condiments. Maybe the recommended soup version would have been better?

I love mild Chinese restaurants' dan dan noodles, so I finally went to try it out. I went on Saturday at 12pm, there were seats in the back and no line. I bought the meal tickets and my husband and I ordered the standard dan dan noodles, one without soup and one with soup. It took about 10 minutes for our food to arrive. The water had lemongrass in it, which was a nice touch. The soup in the dan dan noodles was very mild, almost no spiciness at all. The noodles were very thin and the soup coated them well. The texture of the noodles was good, but I felt like the flavor of the dan dan noodles was lacking. The soup had a strong sesame flavor, which made it taste like it could be used for hot pot broth. The noodles without soup were slightly thicker, but still on the thin side. As someone who enjoys dry noodles, I felt like there were not enough toppings, so it felt more like "abura soba" (oil noodles) to me. There was almost no spiciness, just a lot of chili oil, so as I continued eating, it felt like I was just eating oil noodles. It was tasty, but lacked a punch and was forgettable in terms of flavor. I don't think I will be coming back. Thank you for the meal.

Upon entering the store, the first thing I noticed was how incredibly clean and well-maintained the interior was. It's a bit disappointing that the ticket machine is all the way at the back, but I suppose it can't be helped due to the layout. I ordered the rich shrimp tantanmen for 950 yen and the gyoza rice set for 280 yen. The noodles in the tantanmen were very thin and delicious, coated in a thick soup that wasn't too salty but just right. The addition of leeks added a nice touch as well. As for the gyoza, I was expecting it to be very flavorful since there was no soy sauce or mustard provided, but it turned out to be quite ordinary. I would have liked at least some soy sauce. I heard that the cold tantanmen is a specialty here, so I'll try that next time. They also have new menu items like salt ramen and miso ramen, so I'll have to try the salt ramen next time since it's located at the top left of the ticket machine. Thank you for the meal!

I visited "Tantanmen Ichiryu Shintomicho" for lunch for the first time. Since the restaurant I was planning to visit was closed, I decided to try this place nearby. There are a total of 11 locations, and it seems like they are expanding rapidly. The interior of the restaurant is long and narrow, with a counter at the front and seating at the back, totaling 11 seats. It was crowded during lunchtime, but I was able to find a seat within 5 minutes. I ordered the rich shrimp tantanmen and onion shumai with rice. The soup had a strong sesame flavor but was very mild. It was a creamy and rich sesame soup. Mixing in the minced shrimp added depth to the flavor, and the thin Hong Kong noodles paired well with it. I chose the numbing chili oil, which wasn't too spicy but had a refreshing kick. They mentioned that they do not use artificial seasonings, so it's a healthy tantanmen. The onion shumai had a seasoned taste, so I personally felt it needed a bit of soy sauce. It seems like cold tantanmen would be great during this season. Thank you for the meal!

On a hot day, cold noodles are the best, so I visited Ichiryu for the first time in a while. I ordered the chilled tantanmen. I chose the numbing spicy oil, but I don't think the spiciness is too strong. The noodles are slightly thicker than regular tantanmen, but they are firm and refreshing, perfect for summer. Thank you for the meal.

I visited for lunch on a regular day. It was hot, so I ordered the cold tantanmen. You can choose between regular and spicy. Even with the spicy option, it wasn't too spicy, but added a nice accent, so I recommend it. The noodles are relatively thin and they go well with the creamy soup, making it very delicious. The crunchy texture of the green onions goes well with the noodles, making it a perfect dish for summer. There were many customers at the counter seats, but I was able to eat after about a 10-minute wait.

It's been a while since I had such a good meal! The tantanmen here is incredibly delicious! I can't understand why the rating is so low, considering the attention to detail in this dish. The noodles are thin and firm, and the soup has a sesame flavor with finely chopped green onions, along with a spicy kick. Adding black vinegar gives it a sweet touch, making it even better. The restaurant is clean and the staff provide excellent service. The only flaw, if any, is that the ticket machine is placed at the back, which seems a bit odd in an otherwise perfect setting!
