Ozaki-san's dishes were carefully prepared and very delicious! The charcoal-grilled turtle was especially surprising and tasty, it was my first time trying it and it had a nice chewy texture. The sushi portion was quite small, more like a course in a Japanese restaurant rather than a sushi place. I would love to go back if I have the chance!

We were able to enjoy delicious food in a private room without feeling awkward even with children! My little one kept asking for more of the lean tuna sushi and ended up eating all 21 pieces! It's rare to find a place where you can eat delicious sushi with children, so it was a valuable experience!

I visited this restaurant for a lunch gathering. The atmosphere was calm and we were able to relax comfortably. It seemed like we were the only ones there for lunch that day. The course meals were all delicious and satisfying in portion size! The chawanmushi (savory steamed egg custard) was amazing! I love chawanmushi so much that I could have eaten more. The sushi was fresh and had a great texture. The most impressive dish was the grilled softshell turtle! I tried it for the first time and I definitely want to have it again! The ending dessert was refreshing and a perfect palate cleanser! I would like to visit again for dinner next time!

When it comes to sushi in Tokyo, this is the place to go! I was taken here by a friend, just a short walk from Azabu-Juban Station, tucked away in a quiet alley but with a striking presence. We were seated at the counter on the first floor. The interior is sophisticated yet warm. Here is what we ate: - Snow crab with meat and innards, the rich crab miso perfectly complemented the dish, delicious and perfect for pairing with sake. - Oma tuna, the fatty tuna was a first for me. It had a sweet flavor without being too heavy, and the more you chew, the more depth of flavor you experience. It had a slight aged taste, although it was not intentionally aged but left to breathe a bit before serving. It melted in the mouth with an excellent aftertaste. - Crab hot pot, the meat was sweet with concentrated umami. After eating, we poured hot sake into the pot, creating a delicious crab sake. It was so good that we had another serving! - Sashimi, the fugu had a satisfying texture and the addition of karasumi instead of shrimp was elegant and enhanced the sake experience. - Eel, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the contrast in texture was amazing. - Softshell turtle, the meat and liver were grilled. The turtle liver was surprisingly rich, without any bitterness or unpleasant taste. It might be the best liver I have ever had. - Nigiri, each piece had a perfect balance of topping and rice, creating a harmonious blend that was hard to describe but incredibly satisfying. The uni gunkan and toro roll were also delicious, with crispy nori adding to the flavor. - Soup, a clear and refreshing softshell turtle soup packed with umami. Despite drinking quite a bit (we even went to a second place), I woke up feeling great the next morning. Maybe it was the softshell turtle effect?! The head chef's warm hospitality in such a high-class establishment allowed us to relax and enjoy the fantastic food and sake. Thank you.

Lunch reservations are recommended to ensure availability! The recommended course starts with a truffle chawanmushi with finely chopped truffles, the aroma of the broth is amazing. The medium fatty tuna (chutoro) nigiri was perfect. The abalone and kelp sauce with citrus fragrance was light and delicious. The sashimi plate with blowfish, flounder, and sea urchin was excellent, especially the blowfish skin stew. The fried tilefish was perfect. The blowfish milt sauce with rice was like a risotto and delicious. The grilled blackthroat seaperch was incredibly tasty. The nigiri and rolls were spot-on with fluffy rice. The finale, softshell turtle soup, had a delicate taste that can only be experienced here. Dining at the counter allows for a fun meal with the friendly chef. Private rooms are also available. I will definitely be coming back again!

It was my first visit to a sushi kappo restaurant. It felt like a Japanese restaurant with a sushi bar vibe. Inside, there were 6 counter seats and private rooms. Although there is a completely private room, I couldn't see it this time. The chef was kind and his sushi-making had a rhythmic flow, making it enjoyable to watch. The menu included: - Chawanmushi with softshell turtle meat - Seiko crab sashimi topped with caviar - Two pieces of Oma tuna sushi - Hairy crab - Fugu, flounder, and botan shrimp sashimi - Eel sushi - Grilled golden eye snapper - Mandarin orange rice cooked in a pot - Squid, thread-sail filefish, horse mackerel, shrimp, yellowtail, and amberjack - Mackerel, tuna, simmered clams - Red sea urchin sushi roll - Two types of conger eel - Tekka maki, dried gourd roll - Softshell turtle soup - Dessert: almond tofu with strawberry sauce. The alcohol was quite expensive, which was surprising when looking at the menu. I had the omakase course. The impact of the Oma tuna was so strong that the following sushi felt a bit less impressive, but the mackerel was perfectly balanced and delicious. The soup was a rare softshell turtle soup, rich and tasty. I would like to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

I used the restaurant for a banquet. The private room was located on the second floor, accessed by stairs outside the building. The dishes in the course menu were delicately seasoned and to my liking. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm, and I appreciated the hard work of the staff. The portion sizes seemed large, but they settled easily in my stomach. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I made a reservation four days before on a regular Monday night for 30,800 yen including tax. The snow crab, blowfish, white fish, shrimp, sea urchin, and horse meat were all delicious. I forgot to take notes from here on, but the crab was especially delicious. Also, the shirako (milt) was amazing when eaten in a soup made with three kinds of citrus fruits. The chef's sushi-making technique is incredibly cool, so I recommend sitting at the counter.

Today I had sushi with a senior colleague! It's been a while since I posted about sushi! I'm super excited! We went to Ozaki in Azabu-Juban! They have a Michelin star for 9 years... they must be continuously evolving! Can't wait! What we had: - Seko crab, only available this season - Oma nigiri, amazing sushi! - Kegani crab, so delicious - Assorted sashimi: botan shrimp, saury, fugu - White fish roe with kabosu citrus, with white fish roe inside! - Sushi: ikura, cured mackerel, sea urchin, marinated tuna, shrimp, conger eel, flounder - Soup: a perfect finish, truly deserving of their Michelin star! It was a blissful time!

Located in Azabu-Juban, this sushi restaurant has earned one Michelin star. The dishes we tried included: sea urchin jelly-like dish, two pieces of lean tuna sushi, grilled hairy crab shell, assorted sashimi (using the same tuna as the sushi), about eight pieces of sushi, sirloin, tekka maki, and a soup-like dish. It was surprising to see meat being served at a sushi restaurant, but it was surprisingly tender and delicious. The sake we had was a rare Shizuoka "Kame" junmai daiginjo and, surprisingly, a recommended sake by the chef, Shinsei. According to him, a fresh and light sake like Shinsei pairs well with sushi. As a sushi enthusiast, I was extremely satisfied to be able to eat high-quality sushi to my heart's content. (Ate too much)

We used a private room on the second floor for a banquet. The restaurant is located just off Azabu Street and has a traditional Japanese house atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the pace of serving the dishes was comfortable. The way they mix sushi and other dishes was exquisite, creating a unique dining experience that feels like a sushi restaurant and a traditional Japanese restaurant at the same time. The atmosphere, course menu, and overall experience would definitely impress any female companion. However, the portion sizes are generous, so male guests should also feel satisfied (especially with the satisfying sushi at the end). This is a memorable restaurant that I would love to visit again in the future.

I was invited for the first time and visited this famous restaurant with high expectations. It did not disappoint, as it was a wonderful place. Starting with the snow crab, it was a refined dish with a perfect balance of flavors. The aroma was great, and you could truly savor the crab's umami. The following dishes were all exceptional. In particular, the two pieces of tuna nigiri served in the first half were outstanding, or rather, exquisite, or rather, just delicious. The moist texture, the subtle taste of the shari... the finish was just perfect. Everything else was also very delicious. The dishes were a bit small in size, so I felt a bit unsatisfied at times, but by the end, I was full. The closing nigiri dishes were also fantastic. They were all delicious, but if I had to pick one, it would be the conger eel. The tenderness goes without saying, but the precision in seasoning, temperature, and overall execution was flawless. Truly impressive! Overall, the meal was impeccable with no room for improvement. If I had to nitpick, I would say that the tea at the end was too strong (too bitter). Since the meal wasn't heavy on fats, a softer green tea might have been better. It's a restaurant that may be a bit pricey for a regular visit, but I definitely want to go back again.

I visited after a long time. The first dish was a melting uni and ikura jelly. I felt that I could enjoy delicious food tonight! The second dish was medium fatty tuna sushi. The shiny tuna with a hidden knife was full of acidity and richness. I quickly switched to sake. The sashimi was flounder, cutlassfish, and horse mackerel, with fresh ingredients that provided a reliable deliciousness. The conger eel sushi melted in my mouth without needing to chew, a new experience for me, and the white grilled caviar topping was exquisite. Next time, I would like to pair it with champagne. For dessert, I enjoyed a combination of chopped muscat grapes, almond tofu, and white wine jelly until the very end. I felt motivated to work hard so I can visit again.

Overall rating: 5.0 - Heavenly. Happy. Surprisingly affordable. Hats off. 4.5 - Very pleasant. Very reasonable price. 4.0 - Pleasant. Reasonable price. 3.5 - Pleasant. Fair price. 3.0 - Honest establishment. Fair price. 2.5 - Average. 2.0 - Slight improvement needed. 1.5 - Improvement needed. 1.0 - Will not go again. 0.5 - The worst. Absolutely will not go.
