There was still plenty of time until check-in, so I wandered around the area and came across this place. When I checked on Tabelog and Google, it seemed to have good reviews. When I saw it, there were few customers even on a holiday in Asakusa, so it seemed like a hidden gem. After checking in, I came back and found that it was quite crowded. The staff were sitting with customers? The lady at the shop was holding a dog, which was cute, but it's a food and drink establishment after all. Also, there was a TV and some regular customers seemed to be engrossed in horse racing with the lady. I looked through the menu but ended up ordering the braised pork rice. The menu was a bit chaotic with udon and other Japanese items mixed in. The menu mentioned that all rice dishes come with small side dishes and soup, but they weren't provided. I'm not sure if they stopped serving them or if they were just distracted by the horse racing. According to reviews, the soup was supposed to be included, so I was disappointed. The rice was a bit bland but the toppings were tasty. The lady, who spoke broken Japanese, seemed like a nice person, but hmm... On my way out, she commented on the nice weather to me, a solo customer.

Visited "Shinrakuen Taiwan Bishokubo" near Sensoji Temple for the third time. - Lurou Fan (Taiwanese braised pork on rice) 600 yen - Mapo Tofu 700 yen - Bottle of beer 500 yen - Lime Shochu Highball 400 yen x 2 I knew the Lurou Fan was delicious, but the Mapo Tofu was also good with a gentle flavor. This is a hidden gem in Asakusa on busy holidays with many crowded restaurants.

I went to "Shinrakuen Taiwanese Gourmet" near Asakusa Temple for the second time. The Lu Rou Fan (minced pork rice) was 600 yen and a bottle of beer was 500 yen. The Lu Rou Fan was delicious. It's simple, but the flavor is outstanding. The Chinese soup was also good. The portion was small, but it was just right for me since I wasn't very hungry.

I visited a shop called "Shin Rakuen Taiwan Bishoku Bo" along the Asakusa Hanayashiki street in early January. It was around 10:20 in the morning when I arrived, thinking the shop opened at 10 based on information I saw online. However, the shop was still being cleaned by the friendly lady inside. She told me they actually open at 11, but she let me in anyway. The shop seemed to be run by a couple, with about 10 tables neatly arranged inside. I ordered the "Lu Rou Fan" (660 yen including tax) with soup, which is a dish of pork cooked in a sweet and savory broth poured over rice. It was served quickly, with pork, pickled mustard greens, and boiled egg as toppings. The portion was a bit small for me, but the sweet and savory pork paired well with the rice, and the unique aroma of spices like star anise added to the deliciousness. I finished every last grain of rice in no time. It was a satisfying meal.

I went to "Shinrakuen Taiwan Bishoku-bo" near Asakusa Temple to try their Lu Rou Fan. The staff were from Taiwan. I ordered two Lu Rou Fan for 600 yen each and two bottles of beer for 500 yen each. The Lu Rou Fan was delicious. It's simple but the flavor is outstanding. It was so good that I ended up ordering a second serving (although I was already full). The Chinese soup was also very tasty. Despite the decent location, the restaurant had few customers. I actually passed by a few days ago and it was also empty. I'm not sure about the other items on the menu, but the Lu Rou Fan is really delicious, so I recommend trying it.

I felt like eating Lu Rou Fan (Taiwanese Braised Pork Rice), so I searched in Asakusa and found a place near Hanayashiki. It's run by Chinese people and opens at 10 am, which is convenient. I ordered the Lu Rou Fan and Xiao Long Bao. The dishes arrived after a short wait. Personally, I found the Lu Rou Fan delicious, but the Xiao Long Bao was just okay. I plan to get the Lu Rou Fan to go next time.

I stopped by on my way to Matsuya after passing through Hanayashiki Street. It's a shame I can't go on a trip to Taiwan. ■What I had ◇(Name forgotten) for around 700 yen A dish with minced pork, egg, and pickled mustard greens. This combination isn't bad at all, and the rice was delicious. ◇Shrimp Tempura

I was drawn to the restaurant by the sign advertising Lu Rou Fan for 600 yen. It seems to be a Chinese restaurant, but they also offer eel and udon, so the menu is quite diverse. There are also dishes like Taiwanese Yakisoba and Taiwanese Fried Rice, which makes me think that the chef may be from Taiwan. I ordered the Lu Rou Fan for 660 yen. It was served promptly with soup. The soup was a Chinese-style soup. The Lu Rou Fan contained pickled vegetables, pork, and a boiled egg. It had a strong star anise aroma and tasted quite authentic. It was served in a slightly larger teacup rather than a bowl, so I was worried about the portion size, but it turned out to be just right at about 80% full.

The correct answer is Lu Rou Fan. It seems to be a representative dish of Taipei. While walking near Hanayashiki, I was drawn into the restaurant by the first dish name I had ever seen on the menu. The food was served quickly. Of course, it's easy to prepare. It's just a matter of putting everything on top. In a small bowl, there is rice, pickled vegetables, seasoned pork, boiled egg, and sauce. It's a very simple dish. First, it has a nice aroma. When it was brought to me, I immediately smelled the good smell of spices. It's the unique aroma often found in Taiwan or Singapore. I quite like that smell. When I took a bite, it tasted exactly as I had imagined - delicious. It's a simple dish that doesn't allow for any tricks. It may feel a bit lacking, but that's just the way it is. Thank you for the meal.

The cherry blossoms have fallen... the weather has become hot, then cold... it's easy to get sick, isn't it? Today, I was in Asakusa at lunchtime. Feeling hungry, I spotted a dish called "Rou Rou Fan" and couldn't resist trying it. I was seated at a table and checked the menu. I ordered the "Rou Rou Fan" and some pan-fried dumplings. The delivery was quick. The dumplings were plump with a nice crispy exterior and thick, chewy skin. The filling had a generous amount of meat. The "Rou Rou Fan" had pickled mustard greens, seasoned egg, and juicy meat on top. It was soaked in sauce and the rice disappeared quickly. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I used delivery service. The flavor is based on Taiwanese cuisine. I wish the fried chicken was crispier and more flavorful with five-spice seasoning. The Lu Rou Fan (minced pork rice) could be a bit lighter, but the seasoning is good.

Fully open entrance for excellent ventilation. This makes me feel safe. However, the taste is strange. The white rice had lumps in it? I had to give up halfway.

The food at Rurouhan tasted the same as what I had in Taiwan.
