Carriage Bekkan in Shinjuku used to have its main store in Kabukicho until last year. That's why this place was called the "Bekkan" (branch). Now the main store is located in Fujisawa, in a beautiful mansion with a garden. Carriage Bekkan offers a variety of dining options: teppanyaki on the first floor, Japanese cuisine on the upper floors, and yakitori in the basement. I had lunch there and ordered the 1900 yen sirloin steak set cooked medium rare. The salad and side dishes were served before the steak was cooked. The steak was tender and juicy, cooked just right. The bean sprouts were crunchy and perfectly seasoned. It was entertaining to watch the teppanyaki chef cook the meal right in front of me. I look forward to returning for dinner next time to fully enjoy the experience!

I was taken to lunch at this establishment, which seems to be a long-established one. The staff and customers were mostly elderly. Despite the casual location, the atmosphere of the restaurant was quite upscale, with the staff wearing aprons. I love Japanese beef, and I was pleased to find out that they serve domestic beef here. I had the fillet and Chateaubriand steak. The fillet was incredibly tender and delicious, with no toughness at all. Then I tried the Chateaubriand, which had a different aroma from the fillet even while cooking. It was even more tender, with sweet and delicious meat fat. The domestic beef was also very tasty! I also had salad and garlic rice. The garlic rice was served in a neat square shape, which was interesting. The taste was as expected, in a good way. For dessert, I had mango juice, which was rich and tasted like freshly squeezed mango, making it the best mango juice I've ever had. They seem to have reasonably priced lunch menus as well, so I would like to visit again.

The quality of the meat is worth the price, the supermarket's delicious meat. It's near Shinjuku Station and the price is reasonable for all-you-can-eat rice, salad, and miso soup. The restaurant seems to have a long history with a wide variety of menu options, so I'd like to try something other than sukiyaki.

I visited on Sunday for lunch. I ordered the Nishikyo-yaki set meal and changed the rice to mixed grain rice (with the option for seconds). In addition to the side dishes and soup, it also came with sashimi, all of which were delicious and well-prepared. It was a satisfying lunch experience.

While there was also a sukiyaki course available, I was in the mood for shabu-shabu, and it was fantastic. The kishimen served at the end with the broth and condiments were outstandingly delicious! I wanted to eat more of it, haha. Apart from the shabu-shabu and kishimen, everything else was pretty average, but the staff were very attentive and helpful, which was much appreciated. I have been here for lunch a few times before, and in Shinjuku where it's hard to find a satisfying restaurant, this place was very convenient for both group meals and solo dining. I visited for lunch. The age group is older. The seats are spacious. I had the Inaniwa udon tempura set! It was delicious and slurpy. A menu that would be popular with foreigners. There were many local customers. It's recommended to make a reservation even on weekdays.

The staff provided excellent service at the car dealership teppanyaki restaurant. The food was delicious, and we went there to celebrate a birthday. It had been a while since we last visited due to COVID, so it was a nice treat. We were able to customize our seafood dish and requested garlic rice, which was also very tasty. For dessert, we had sherbet, which was delicious. The only downside was that the interior of the restaurant was a bit old and the aisles were narrow.

I had a live Ise eel prepared in front of me, and the abalone was delicious grilled on an iron plate. The Chateaubriand was also very tasty after being boiled. To finish, the garlic rice and Ise eel miso soup were amazing. I would love to go back if there are any events in the future.

I was originally thinking of just ordering sukiyaki, but when I looked at the menu, I discovered that there was a course with matsutake mushrooms as the main dish! They provided a mini cassette stove to cook the meat. The meat, which was tender and had a good marbling, tasted delicious. The sukiyaki pot already had tofu, shirataki noodles, and other ingredients in it. The amount of rice seemed a bit small, so it might not be enough for some men. The staff were very friendly and offered to add more tea. You can also add dessert or drinks for an additional charge. I ordered coffee. The seating arrangement was good, with tables right next to each other but back to back, so it didn't bother me at all. It was a nice place to have a relaxing lunch.
