The light flavors are similar to Hong Kong cuisine. I think it's a good value for the money. There are many choices, and I went twice for lunch. There are so many menu items that caught my eye, so I plan to go again. The char siu is Hong Kong style, and the set meals are also Hong Kong style. For dessert, I had mango pudding both times.

While watching Egachannel on YouTube, I found out that Kanbanfuku, where Kinmanboku-san works, has a branch in Akasaka. I decided to visit for lunch and was not disappointed. The menu offers a variety of options from noodles to set meals, and the prices are quite reasonable for the Akasaka area. My favorite dish is the Shrimp Wonton Noodles, with its thin, chewy noodles and deliciously plump wontons. It's the perfect meal to boost your energy for the rest of the day. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

You can place your order using the touch panel, and with the product images, it's easy to imagine what you're getting. The lunch set was a good deal, and the à la carte menu is reasonably priced, making it easy to order. They also have a good selection for drinks. I tried the Shrimp Wonton Noodle Lunch Set this time. The shrimp wontons were large and had a nice peppery flavor without any fishy taste. The noodles were Hong Kong style, with a springy texture and a light soup that balanced well with the dish. The fried rice in the set was a good portion size and had a nice seasoning. The seating arrangement was spacious, with terrace, table, and counter seats, making it easy for both individuals and groups to dine comfortably.

Formerly, Chef Kanbanfuku, who used to appear on the TV show "En no Ryorinin" (The Fiery Chef), is now serving as the head chef at this restaurant. As a fan of the show, I was thrilled to hear this news! Today, I had the shrimp wonton noodle lunch set, which came with shrimp wonton noodles, half a serving of fried rice, and a coconut milk pudding for only 900 yen. The portion size was generous, and the cost performance was excellent, especially for being under 1,000 yen in Akasaka. The ingredients are carefully selected, and no additives or artificial seasonings are used. The shrimp wonton noodles had a light saltiness with thin noodles, making it easy to eat. The wontons were filled with plump shrimp and had a peppery kick. The wonton wrappers were soft and delicious. The soup was also tasty, and I almost wanted to drink it all up. The coconut milk pudding had a chewy texture similar to mochi. The restaurant is conveniently located near the station and is highly recommended.

While taking a walk with the kids in Akasaka during lunchtime, we randomly entered a Hong Kong cuisine restaurant specializing in dim sum. They had a wide variety of lunch set menus that were quite cost-effective. I decided to try the Beef and Egg Stir-Fry Set and the Shrimp Wonton Noodle Set. The Beef and Egg Stir-Fry had a unique and addictive flavor. The slightly sweet sauce of the beef stir-fry paired with the fluffy eggs created a harmonious combination. The white rice was incredibly smooth and complemented the delicious main dish. On the other hand, the Shrimp Wonton Noodle soup was light yet packed with flavor, with thin curly noodles that paired well with the broth. Considering the price and quality, I would definitely love to visit this restaurant again.

A Hong Kong restaurant located on the ground floor of a hotel. The lunch menu offers great value for money and is available even on Sundays, which is convenient for residents of Akasaka. The menu includes a variety of dishes that evoke the flavors of Hong Kong. Today, I ordered the roast duck for 1,000 yen. It was delicious with the bone-in chicken and authentic Hong Kong seasoning. It's a casual restaurant that serves authentic cuisine, making it easy to drop by.

Ace card players, it's time for a hangover meal. I was wandering around the Akasaka area looking for lunch, hoping to find a new restaurant that I haven't been to before. While strolling around, I stumbled upon a Hong Kong cuisine restaurant! The chef seemed familiar, like I've seen him somewhere before. He might be famous. So, I decided to go in and check it out.
Menu:
Shrimp Wonton Noodles - 900 yen
Roast Duck - 1000 yen
Vegetable and Meat Wonton Noodles - 900 yen
XO Sauce Fried Rice - 900 yen
After looking at the menu, I decided to go with the XO Sauce Fried Rice. The ordering process was done through a touch panel.
After a while, the fried rice arrived. It looked delicious and tasted amazing. The rice was fluffy and had a strong aroma of shrimp and XO sauce. The portion was quite generous, but it was so tasty that I finished it quickly. There were two shrimp on top, maybe added as a garnish. The color was rich, but the flavor was not overpowering, making it easy to eat. The set also came with soup, so for 900 yen, it was a good deal.
Overall, the fried rice was delicious, and I would love to come back again. Next time, I want to try something that truly represents Hong Kong cuisine, like roast duck or Hong Kong-style BBQ pork. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

I went to this restaurant recommended by a reliable colleague to enjoy the taste of Hong Kong casually. I chose to use it for lunch. The outdoor terrace seats at the entrance seemed cold, so I went inside. There was a long narrow counter seat in the back, and it felt easy to go alone. The monitor ordering system at the table was efficient, and it was nice to be able to choose calmly. I ordered the shrimp wonton noodle set. It was fun to choose from 3 types of noodles. Warm tea was also nice on a cold day. I chose the Hong Kong noodles for the texture I like. The soup was delicious too. The fried rice was a bit greasy, and personally, I thought it could do without it. The dessert was jelly with tapioca, refreshing and nostalgic taste. With a 20% discount from the PayPay campaign, it was a great deal.

I visited the restaurant alone around 12:30. The place was about 60-70% full, and I was seated at the counter where I ordered using a tablet. I had my heart set on the shrimp wonton noodles, but the screen also showed options for noodles, rice sticks, and vermicelli. I chose the most mysterious option, rice sticks. It arrived in about 5 minutes. The rice sticks were wide like flat rice noodles with a chewy texture. The soup was really to my liking. The fried rice was pretty standard, and for dessert, I had a coconut pudding with a chewy texture. If it's under 1000 yen, I'm satisfied. It would be great if we could choose whether to have fried rice when ordering on the tablet.

I wanted to eat Korean food for lunch and was wandering around this area, unsure of where to eat. Suddenly, I was stopped by the staff of a restaurant that serves authentic Hong Kong cuisine and they explained the menu to me. The prices were reasonable and the restaurant looked inviting from the outside, so I decided to give it a try.
I ordered the following:
- Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup for 900 yen
- Beef Belly Stew Ramen for 900 yen
I chose to dine inside the restaurant, although they also had terrace seating available. What surprised me was that I could choose the type of noodles when I ordered using a tablet. I opted for the Hong Kong noodles for my Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup and rice noodles for the Beef Belly Stew Ramen. I also ordered 4 pieces of shrimp wontons.
The Hong Kong noodles were my favorite - they were smooth and had a great chewy texture. The soup was also amazing. Unfortunately, the fried rice that came with the set was a bit disappointing, but the dessert, a soft almond tofu-like pudding, was too sweet for my liking. The cold drink served was tea, not lemon water, which I found to be a nice touch.
The kitchen staff seemed to be from Hong Kong, so I assume the flavors were authentic. I was intrigued by the other items on the menu, especially the duck dish. Overall, I enjoyed the meal, although I still prefer the noodles at another restaurant for lunch.

I went for a late lunch on a regular day. I carefully examined the outdoor menu before entering the restaurant. I ordered the daily set meal of char siu and steamed chicken (1000 yen) using the tablet on the table. Despite there not being many customers and the dishes not requiring much cooking time, I waited for over 3 minutes. The char siu had a unique flavor, while the steamed chicken had a typical taste but was very delicious. The rice was a blend of fragrant rice and Japanese rice, giving it a substantial feel. The soup seemed to have offal and vegetables in it. I found out that you could get a free rice refill, so I asked for half a portion verbally and they brought me an additional serving on a plate. The dessert also had a unique flavor which I enjoyed. The restaurant's name didn't seem to have a Cantonese pronunciation, and there were simplified Chinese characters on the touch panel, so it didn't seem to be operated by Hong Kong people, but I had no complaints. I would like to try their noodles next time.

A Chinese restaurant opened on the first floor of the Centurion Hotel on Espalande Street. I visited for lunch at 2 pm on a weekday. The entrance has a sunroom-like terrace seating area, with a long and narrow kitchen and counter in the back. Orders are placed through a tablet on the table, but the staff kindly inputted it for us. I ordered the beef belly noodles and fried rice set. The beef belly had a good balance of fat and meat, very satisfying. The flavor was similar to Japanese yamato-ni, very delicious. The noodles were extremely thin, like Hong Kong style, with a local Hong Kong flavor. The fried rice came in a small bowl with egg and diced char siu as ingredients. It tasted like Cantonese rice you would eat at a Chinese restaurant overseas. It was a lightly seasoned, fluffy type, although it was a bit cold due to being pre-made. It came with a rich sesame tofu, and at 900 yen, it was great value. Akasaka is known for Sichuan cuisine and also has Hong Kong-style restaurants, making it a highly competitive area for Chinese food. Because of this, the restaurant was always full even during lunchtime! I hope they continue to do well. Thank you for the meal.

As I was wandering around Akasaka as usual, I stumbled upon a certain restaurant. It seems to be a newly opened Hong Kong cuisine restaurant in September 2022. I often eat Chinese food, but I don't have many opportunities to try "Hong Kong cuisine," so I decided to give it a try! The interior of the restaurant is very bright! It is located on the first floor of the Centurion Hotel. The staff welcomed me warmly in the bright and friendly atmosphere. I sat down and ordered a drink first. I ordered a Harbin beer (550 yen) to try a Chinese-style beer. With that, I was all set. Now, it's time to order some dishes. First, I ordered the fluffy scrambled eggs with char siu pork (1,280 yen). The fluffy eggs combined well with the rich flavor of char siu pork, making it very delicious. It's the kind of dish that you can't stop eating. Next, I ordered the sweet and sour pork with pineapple (1,080 yen). The sweet and sour flavor of the vinegar was prominent, and the addition of pineapple added a nice touch. It was easy to eat and absolutely delicious. Lastly, I ordered the stir-fried vermicelli noodles (1,100 yen). The aroma of the noodles was appetizing, and the flavor was rich, making it a perfect accompaniment to beer. It was really delicious. Overall, the restaurant left a good impression on me. All the dishes were very tasty, and the prices were not too high. It's a casual place where you can easily go and enjoy a meal. The location on the first floor of the Centurion Hotel is very easy to find, and they also offer lunch specials during the day. If you're interested, I recommend checking it out.

Today's Akasaka lunch was here, which has opened on the first floor of the Century Hotel on the Esplanade Street. It's one of the places that has opened and closed several times. I ordered the roast duck set meal for 1,000 yen, which caught my eye on the A-board on the street. The wait was just under 10 minutes. The roast duck set meal arrived with a mountain of roast duck, rice, soup, and dessert, all very simple. The duck consisted of breast meat and rib meat. I started with the breast meat, which had a firm texture but was light, with a delicious sauce of Chinese soy sauce and spices. When I nibbled around the ribs, it became even more delicious. The rice was cooked just right, with fragrant long-grain rice that wasn't dry. The chicken bone soup in between was a perfect balance. This duck was a healthier type with less fat, so even though it was a generous portion, I stopped at about 80% full. It seems like they also have appetizers and grilled dishes at night, so it would be nice to enjoy those too. I wonder if I'll come back next time.
