It was a long-awaited revisit, last Sunday. I arrived almost at the same time as the opening time at 5 pm, with the strong sunlight still lingering like daytime. My companions were all women, a total of four people besides me. Wait, didn't I write in a previous diary entry that "I don't bring female companions to this restaurant"? But at the same time, in the same diary entry, I wrote, "I am confident that women who understand the unique charm of this restaurant will enjoy it." Yes. Among the women I brought to this restaurant for the first time the night before, I was sure that they were women who could "enjoy the restaurant with me." Why? Because the "event" we had just before visiting the restaurant that day proved it. Actually, earlier that day, I was with these three women at the same movie theater in Shibuya, watching the movie "Tenacious D. in the Pick of Destiny" together. For those who know, this is a super silly and outrageous rock opera (?) movie. We had been excitedly talking about wanting to watch it together ever since the trailer was released about a month ago, as we all share a love for "movies ❤" and "Rock ❤." So, we quickly agreed to go watch it together, and after coordinating everyone's schedules, we went to see it together. (And actually, that movie was soooo hilarious!!!) Come to think of it, the same group of us watched "QUEEN Rock Montreal" and shed tears together at Shinjuku Balt 9 the night before. That's right. What I wanted to say is that these women are hardcore "Rock ❤ Lovers" and "Live ❤ Lovers" just like me. And especially, their favorite music is mainly from the 70s and 80s, which is a perfect match. So, I was absolutely certain that they would instantly love this restaurant too. That's why, without hesitation, after the movie, I invited the three women straight to this restaurant. And indeed, my confidence was right on the money. All three of them instantly fell in love with the place. Just like always, we enjoyed the nostalgic and junky German potatoes and pizzas while laughing and talking about the movie we had just seen, and taking turns requesting "oldies Rock" songs that we love. It was delicious and fun. Afterwards, we moved to My Back Pages, a Yoyogi skewer restaurant loved by the same "Rock and Live music enthusiasts" as this restaurant, for a second round. Despite having to work early the next Monday, we ended up getting drunk and having a blast until late at night. Thank you for another great night, B.Y.G. P.S. I have added four new photos.
