This week, I had a business trip to Tokyo. I arrived at the hotel around 10 pm after traveling in the evening, and had to start work at 9 am the next morning. I had to take the Shinkansen back home around 7 pm. Since it was a tough job, I decided to treat myself to some soba noodles. I went to a soba restaurant called "SOBA DINING Rin'ya" located inside the Seibu station in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. I arrived at the restaurant around 8 pm and purchased a meal ticket from the vending machine outside. Unfortunately, they didn't have my favorite "zaru soba" on the menu, so I ordered "hiyashi nukki" instead. The broth was slightly sweet with a hint of kelp, typical of Kanto region style. The cold soba noodles were fragrant and delicious. I finished my meal quickly and realized once again that Kanto has a strong soba culture.

At SOBA DINING Rin located inside Ikebukuro Station on the Seibu Line, I tried the seafood tempura soba with croquettes. I was curious about it for a while, so I decided to give it a try. Honestly, the menu is a bit pricey. It has a trendy atmosphere, so it might be easy for women to enter. The seafood tempura was quite good. Croquette soba is the best! Justice! The soba itself was also pretty good. However, it feels like typical station soba in a way.

It was a hot day, so I visited this place to replenish my salt intake. It's a convenient place when you want to sit down and eat quickly. I usually go for the "Tempura Soba" for ¥610. I bought the ticket and the place was not crowded since it was late lunchtime. It's self-service, so I handed my ticket to the staff at the counter, got my water, and by the time I returned, my soba was ready. The flavor was typical for station soba with a hint of bonito. The tempura was on the softer side, but I don't mind since I like to soak it in the broth. I enjoy watching the hustle and bustle of people rushing from the ticket gate to the platform while eating. I remember there used to be a standing eating corner next to this place where I used to enjoy their yakisoba. I looked for it when buying my ticket, but it was gone. Instead, they had croquettes as a topping, which made me realize how times have changed. Thank you for the meal.

My favorite station udon restaurant, Rin-ya. The great thing about this place is that they use C&C curry, and you can choose the broth for the udon from Kansai or Kanto styles. I wonder if the curry in the curry bowl is also C&C... Either way, it's delicious with plenty of curry sauce. I asked for half noodles for the udon, but they gave me a lot. The tempura on top of the udon is doing an excellent job. I tried my best, but couldn't finish it... I'm really sorry for having a small stomach.

Ikebukuroen was the first amusement park I visited with my wife before we got married. It was a time when roller coasters were still relatively tame, with the Corkscrew being the latest attraction back then. Fast forward about 40 years, and it seems like things have changed a lot. Our family really enjoyed the Harry Potter novels and movies, especially the third and fourth installments. We visited the theme park in Ikebukuro station for a bit of fun, and then headed to "Rinya" to have some delicious "kakesoba" noodles. In the past, we used to always have tempura soba, but nowadays we prefer the simpler kakesoba. The broth was flavorful and the noodles had a nice texture. Just like the "kishimen" we had last time, it had a refined taste. It was light and delicious. Thank you for the meal. Now, let's explore Ikebukuro station together! 😄😄

As declared, this time I went for the extra-large portion. It's delicious, just as I expected. But even with the extra-large portion, I still didn't feel full. Maybe next time I'll try adding a mini curry bowl. Prices have gone up everywhere, making it tough.

Around 11 o'clock in the afternoon. The restaurant was not crowded at first, but gradually became busier. However, the turnover rate is good, so it is easy to use. I had the curry set with cold soba noodles for ¥690. The dipping sauce was on the spicier side. The curry, which I always end up ordering, was consistently delicious.

I often come here when I'm in the mood for soba noodles before taking the train. On this day, I had the curry set with warm soba noodles for ¥690. I opted for the large serving for an additional ¥110 since there was plenty of noodles. I ate it before they got too soft. The curry was slightly spicy and easy for anyone to enjoy.

A long time ago, there used to be a B-grade gourmet wonderland called "Snack Land" inside the underground ticket gate at Ikebukuro Station on the Seibu Line. Among the various menu items like yakisoba, Chinese food, udon, soba, and rice bowls, there was "kishimen." While reminiscing about that kishimen, I decided to try the kishimen at Rin's. I ordered the tororo kombu and kitsune kishimen for 650 yen. I waited at the stylish counter table for a while. When my order was ready, I eagerly went to pick it up at the counter. The white dashi broth had a lovely aroma. There was plenty of green onions, bonito flakes, tororo kombu, and the addition of kitsune (fried tofu) was a nice touch. It was a very luxurious dish. The broth had a refined taste, and I could enjoy the unique characteristics of each condiment (green onions, bonito flakes, tororo) as I ate. The kishimen noodles were chewy, which I love. It was very delicious. I hope they start serving kishimen instead of udon at chain restaurants. However, to be honest, I prefer more casual eateries in station premises. I like simple yet carefully made standing gourmet dishes that are affordable, like something you could eat for a small price. I enjoyed the meal and was satisfied, but it was slightly different from what I expect from a station restaurant. I miss the old "Snack Land." (Just an old man's grumbling)

On the previous night, the writer surprised his girlfriend by getting a Katsudon takeout from Katsuya in response to her LINE request. The next morning, he surprised her again by suggesting they go out together even though she was getting ready for work. They ended up having breakfast at a standing soba shop in Ikebukuro, which made her happy. However, their plans to go to work together were disrupted by a train delay on her usual Seibu Line route, so they decided to have a morning date instead. They visited a soba restaurant called "SOBA DINING Rin'ya" inside Ikebukuro Station, where they enjoyed a delicious bowl of soba together. The writer appreciated the quality of the soba and the relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant, making it a valuable experience for them both. After the meal, the writer went back home to enjoy his day off, feeling satisfied with the unexpected morning adventure.

I visited SOBADINING Rin-ya for the first time in a while and tried their spring chrysanthemum tempura soba. This restaurant is known for its kishimen noodles, but this time I opted for the classic spring chrysanthemum tempura, which was delicious with its fragrant tempura and thick soba noodles.

"Rapper Roppu Karma vs Gravure Idol Fuusui Kei" https://youtu.be/jSIAQGNlSKM [SOBA DINING Rinya] A sudden work-related accident occurred, and this week is going to be a crazy overtime week... After a drink with hard-working subordinates in Shinjuku, on the way back, I decided to stop by here inside Ikebukuro Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. "I wish when I get home, Fuusui Kei would come to greet me in a sexy outfit." I indulged in fantasies about a gravure idol I became a fan of last year while slurping down the curry somen and pouring sake. Received items: Curry Somen (with egg, regular size) ¥710, Sake ¥420, Total ¥1130.

Seibu Ikebukuro Station's Ekimae is a place located inside the ticket gates, so it is limited to people getting on and off the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. I finally had the chance to visit a shop that had caught my attention before when I was feeling hungry and happened to be taking the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. I bought a 500 yen ticket for the Kakiage Tempura Soba at the ticket machine, and inside the shop, there is a kitchen on the left side of the entrance, counter seats facing away from the kitchen on the right side, and two-person table seats in the back. The bright atmosphere is very similar to Doutor. The customers were a mix of male and female university students and a solo woman, similar to those having lunch at Doutor. As for the soba itself... there is nothing particularly special to note... if anything, the broth is on the sweeter and saltier side. Seeing the plastic case stacked with fried food inside the kitchen, it seems like the fried food is delivered from a central kitchen. It is convenient when using the Seibu Ikebukuro Line, but the prices are a bit high, and there is not much value in making a special trip to visit the Ekimae. Overall, it was a decent meal.

A fast-paced soba restaurant in the bustling Ikebukuro Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. Prices range from 550 to 680 yen, a bit on the higher side but reasonable for a station eatery. The atmosphere is welcoming to female customers. They offer rice dishes as well as hearty soba, udon, and kishimen noodles, including dipping style. There are standing counters and table seating available. The staff efficiently manage seating and orders, ensuring smooth operation. The curry dipping noodles are interesting, with a curry flavor blended into the dipping broth. The noodles portion is generous, which may be a matter of personal preference. Overall, a satisfying dining experience.

A friend's husband said, "It's delicious (^ ^)" "I like it because the broth is delicious," so I came to try it out. It is indeed delicious. However, when you slurp the soba, the smell of tobacco comes in. I wonder why that is. At first, I thought it was just my imagination. But it's definitely happening! This place is inside the underground passage of the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. Maybe the air conditioning is bad here. I felt a bit disappointed. But since it was delicious, I'll try again next time at the table in the back for a rematch. (˘̩̩̩ε˘̩̩̩) (˘̩̩̩ε˘̩̩̩)

I visited SOBA DINING Rin located inside Ikebukuro Station, within the Seibu Ikebukuro Line ticket gates. This restaurant had high ratings among station soba shops, so I was curious to try it out. I purchased a meal ticket from the machine outside the shop and entered. I handed over the ticket and received my meal within 30 seconds. Fast service! I personally love curry soba, and I was thrilled to find it on the menu. The curry was slightly soupy and paired well with the soba. It was delicious! I would definitely love to visit again if I have the chance.

On a Saturday afternoon, after finishing some errands elsewhere, I decided to have a meal in Ikebukuro. However, all the restaurants were full, probably due to the start of December or the slightly relaxed atmosphere around the terminal station. I finally found a place that was not crowded and bought a meal ticket at the entrance. I chose the curry tsukemen, a curry-flavored dipping noodle, because I love curry. The portion was large, and the presentation was appealing. However, when I tasted it, I found the curry to be too salty. I had to dilute it with water to make it more palatable. Unfortunately, this distracted me from fully enjoying the overall taste of the dish. I hope that this type of restaurant pays more attention to the details of each dish they serve.

I purchased tororo soba from the vending machine, handed it to the staff, and waited for a while. It was served in about 3 minutes, and I sat at a table. It was around 10 o'clock, so the restaurant was empty. The soba was average. The dipping sauce had a strong soy sauce flavor. It's a convenient place to go when you're short on time.

It's morning. I had udon noodles for breakfast. When I bought the meal ticket and handed it over, I was asked if I preferred Kansai-style or Kanto-style broth for the udon. I chose Kansai-style. The udon that came out was very soft, to the point where I couldn't pick it up with chopsticks. It wasn't Sanuki udon, but Haka... The broth was light. It seemed good for the body. The standout feature was the green onions! The thickly cut green onions were so crunchy that it felt like I was gnawing on them! It was beyond being a garnish. Even though I love green onions, I stopped eating them halfway through because they completely overpowered the taste of the udon. It was quite a green onion soup. Thank you for the meal.

When I stopped by Ikebukuro Station, I visited this restaurant "SOBA DINING Rin'ya" for the first time. It was a Friday around noon and the restaurant was quite crowded, but I was able to enter smoothly without much of a wait. I ordered the Kakiage Tendon Soba Set, which cost ¥670 including tax. The kakiage tempura in the tendon was not freshly fried, but it was delicious with the sauce soaked in. The zaru soba was just average. Thank you for the meal! I will visit again if I have the chance!
