While waiting for a movie, I got hungry and was drawn to a restaurant by a friendly staff member. I ordered the sea bream soba because it looked delicious, while my partner ordered the Mazuko tsukemen because they wanted to try it. We waited for about 5 minutes, feeling a bit impatient. Finally, the sea bream soba arrived and it was delicious! The soup was light and tasty, and the noodles were not thin as I expected, but still very good. I thought the chashu was chicken, but it turned out to be sea bream, which was also delicious. I enjoyed adding wasabi for extra flavor. However, the only downside was the large spoon for the last part, the ochazuke, which made it difficult to eat quickly. I wish they had provided a smaller spoon. Overall, I would like to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal!

Red snapper ramen? Thin straight noodles with a strong red snapper broth. In the photo at the storefront, there are two slices of what looks like raw red snapper. In reality, there are two slices of slightly fishy red snapper that I didn't enjoy. It might depend on the day. The service seemed a bit slow, and it took a while to be served. Next time, I'll try the dipping noodles instead.

I had chicken ramen here before, but this time I wanted to try tsukemen, so I had the Chicken and Niboshi Dried Sardine Tsukemen. There are also tetsu and Take-chan nearby, so I usually go there, but today I wanted to try something new. It turned out to be a great choice, as the level of the tsukemen here is quite high. The Chicken and Niboshi Dried Sardine Tsukemen is definitely recommended over the chicken ramen. The noodles and soup are well done, with no complaints. The thickness, elasticity, and aroma of the noodles are textbook perfect, not very unique but impressively well-done. The soup has a good balance of dried sardine and chicken flavors, with the added richness of chicken enhancing the overall taste, making it very delicious and appealing to everyone. The soup also contains a generous amount of large-cut yuzu, which adds a strong citrus flavor that complements the rich base soup, earning more points for its excellence. Now, what I really want to highlight this time is the deliciousness of the flavored egg. The flavored egg alone is already very tasty, but the combination of the rich chicken-based dipping sauce and the flavored egg is outstanding. The synergy between chicken and egg is remarkable, and I highly recommend everyone to try it. The bamboo shoots are firm and thick, providing a good texture and taste, while the watercress is surprisingly abundant, adding a healthy touch but not particularly memorable. The chicken chashu, on the other hand, is the least impressive, lacking in presence compared to pork chashu. It tastes good when dipped in the soup but doesn't stand out much on its own. Overall, the tsukemen here is well-executed, and I ordered the upgraded version with extra seaweed and flavored egg, which not only looked visually appealing but also felt like a treat. It's refreshing to see sea bream fillets instead of chashu. The soup, as expected, has a strong sea bream flavor that leaves a lasting impression. As you continue eating, you can still taste the rich broth, so it's quite intense. Eating the tea pickles at the end allows you to fully savor the sea bream broth. I might like this ramen more than the chicken soba.

Since it wasn't raining, I decided to eat outside. The taste was stronger than I expected, but had a refreshing aftertaste. The toppings were also very delicious. I particularly liked the unique Menma. The Aosa (seaweed) matched really well. The portion might be more suitable for women rather than big eaters. I tried the optional dish, the meat miso bowl, and I think it would be great to eat it with the ramen. The egg yolk was really good. I will definitely come back again.

Today's weather is bad. On days with bad weather, I wanted to just go to a station building and get it over with... so I came here. I had the "chicken soba". The creamy soup is not bad, but the noodles are thin and have a somewhat rough texture. When I try to pick them up with chopsticks, they tend to stick together, which makes it feel a bit different from ramen you would get at a specialty shop. Still, they have terrace seating and regular tables, so the layout and menu selection of the restaurant may be good for families. Not everyone wants to climb up to the counter to get their hands on a specialty dish; maybe the real deliciousness of ramen is seen in the faces of children enjoying it. It might be a nice place for families to visit...

I stopped by for a quick lunch on a regular day. The interior of the restaurant is like a café, with a terrace and table seats, creating a welcoming atmosphere for women. Although it's a chicken soba shop, I was curious about the sea bream soba and decided to order it. It looked refreshing with cherry blossoms and citrus on top, giving a spring-like feel. The soup had a delicious sea bream flavor that paired well with the thin noodles. However, the thin noodles were a bit soft for my liking, I prefer them to have more firmness. I was happy that you could also make it into a soup rice dish, but the rice was a bit mushy, which was a bit disappointing. Since it was an easy-to-enter restaurant, I would like to try the chicken soba next time!

There is a ramen restaurant in the Triec Building. I wonder if this is a branch of another main store somewhere else? On this day, I had the basic chicken ramen. It's a chicken broth ramen dyed in white as you can see. The taste is quite rich and truly tastes like chicken ramen. I feel that the quality is quite high, but at the same time, it feels somewhat conventional. Evaluating ramen can be difficult. However, personally, I like the taste. The light chicken chashu and rich flavored egg are also available, so you can enjoy it until the end without getting tired.

The movie theater is upstairs, so we went before the movie. The food is delicious, but some items take time to prepare, so it's recommended to ask about the preparation time before ordering if you plan to eat before the movie. Next time, I'd like to try a different ramen when I have more time. ^_^

Tokyo, Chofu City, Kojima-cho. This is the Chofu branch of a popular chicken white broth ramen restaurant located in the adult town of Azabu-Juban. The nearest station is Chofu Station on the Keio Line. It is located on the 1st floor of "Tri-kyo Chofu" C building, which houses Aeon Cinema "Theater Chofu". Tri-kyo Chofu branch opened in September 2017. The main store in Azabu-Juban opened in May 2014. Currently, there are only two stores. It seems to be a capital-related establishment based on the vibe. The chicken white broth here is delicious. It's been a while since visiting Ichikoro-san. Checking the history, it's been about five years since the last visit, which is quite an achievement for a ramen shop. The Chofu branch seems to have won in terms of location. It was a weekend lunch. The stylish interior gives off a vibe similar to cafes and bars at airports. There are counter seats, table seats, and pet-friendly outdoor terrace seats. There are three staff members, all wearing uniforms similar to moe characters. Payment is made after placing an oral order. Cashless payment is possible. Today's order: Pure Chicken Aosa Soba for 1078 yen. The most popular Aosa Soba comes with the default chicken white broth, Aosa topping, and a half to one boiled egg, making it a luxurious version. The domestically produced chicken bone-based soup, simmered with several types of vegetables for a long time, is rich and mellow. It's almost like potage. The thin and chewy noodles have a good firmness and go well with this rich soup. The toppings include mizuna, chicken chashu, boiled egg, thick bamboo shoots, chopped green onions, and Aosa topping. An interesting aspect is the bowl, which is concave on one side, making it easier to drink and eat the soup. From the middle onwards, adding lemon vinegar and sansho pepper from the table gives a refreshing touch. In addition to chicken soba, they also offer tsukemen, tantanmen, ramen, sea bream soba, rice bowls, and gyoza, so there are plenty of options to enjoy. Potage Ramen I stopped by after work to have a meal before heading home, first visit. Ordered the Pure Chicken Soba for 880 yen (excluding tax), with the option to add extra noodles for around 162 yen. The appearance is completely white. The soup... oh, it's like a chicken potage! The noodles are made of whole wheat and are very thin. The toppings include thick sliced bamboo shoots, a soft-boiled egg, and sous-vide cooked chicken breast chashu. The potage ramen was delicious. The interior of the restaurant is clean and has a feminine touch. The menu items that are under 1000 yen including tax are limited, so the cost performance may not be the best. Located on the first floor of the commercial facility Triet C-kan in Chofu, "Tori Soba Jyuban 156" is a recommended restaurant. Facing the newly created free space (known as "Tetsu Michi") due to the underground construction of the Keio Line, it is a great place to enjoy a meal on the terrace on sunny days. My favorite is the pure chicken soba. It comes with chicken chashu, mizuna, green onions, soft-boiled egg, and thick menma, all in a rich and creamy chicken broth that is so delicious you'll want to drink it all up. Even my wife, who isn't a big fan of ramen, enjoys it, and we come here regularly as a family. The gyoza dish is served in a dramatic way that adds a touch of humor. This trendy ramen shop is popular among female customers.

I ordered the special grade tsukemen with extra noodles, chicken drumstick, 2 bamboo shoots, 3 seaweed sheets, and flavored egg. It cost around 1600 yen, a bit pricey. The tsukemen had a thick dipping sauce that coated the noodles well and tasted delicious. However, I wished they had given more soup as I had a lot of leftover noodles without enough broth. The simmered chicken drumstick was tender and tasty but a bit bland. There are many other menu options, so I would like to try something different next time.

I went to this restaurant because it always seemed empty, possibly due to the impact of the coronavirus. The chicken broth soup had a nice thickness and depth of flavor, not too heavy and quite delicious. However, I felt like it was missing something in terms of taste. The balance of thickness, depth, and saltiness was good, but it left me wanting more. I'm not a culinary expert, so I can't pinpoint exactly what it needs, but my girlfriend also enjoyed it.

At first glance, it resembles carbonara, chicken and cheese mixed noodles. On this day, after watching a movie at the Ion Cinema in Chofu, I saw a young woman with a look similar to Mone Kamishiraishi eating the same chicken and cheese mixed noodles at a fairly fast pace at the neighboring seat. She had an Aflac employee ID, so she seemed to be an employee of an insurance company. The restaurant, known for its chicken noodles, seems to be popular among women, as I always end up sitting next to female customers. The mixed noodles, despite its appearance, change color when mixed, revealing that it is soy sauce-based. Nevertheless, the cheese does a good job and it tastes refreshing and delicious. It's a bit of an unusual cheese version for mixed noodles. A taste that makes you want to come back occasionally.

Today, after many years, I went to Chicken Soba Juuban 156 after watching a movie. I always order the Black Pork Grilled Dumplings (12 pieces) and the Spicy Shrimp Tantanmen. Lately, I have been trying out various restaurants focusing on Tantanmen and Abura Soba, but when I think about it, the Spicy Shrimp Tantanmen here that I have been coming to since a long time ago contains elements of both Tantanmen and Abura Soba. As for the taste after a long time, it was consistently delicious. When you mix the noodles, it looks similar to nostalgic Napolitan, but the texture is actually quite close to it. There is almost no broth, and if you leave it for a while, the noodles become sticky like a lump, making it difficult to eat with chopsticks. However, based on my experience of trying high-quality Tantanmen, if asked if this is Tantanmen, it's not quite accurate, it's more like a different genre imitating Tantanmen. On the other hand, the flavor of the shrimp is strong and likable. In terms of satisfaction, this Spicy Shrimp Tantanmen here, which is thicker than Abura Soba, has a good balance with the refreshing Ponzu soy sauce that I always pair with the dumplings. It's a pass for an occasional meal.

A valuable ramen restaurant where you can bring your baby stroller. There are terrace seats outside and 4-person table seats facing the aisle, which is great for families with children! Since my child was asleep, I wanted to try some noodles that I don't usually eat! I wasn't expecting much from the chicken-based ramen, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. I ordered the tsukemen (with seaweed and flavored egg set). The dipping sauce was rich and not fishy, so it didn't get boring. The chewy noodles paired well with it! I usually don't like meat in my ramen, but the chicken was so tender and tasty! The only thing that bothered me was that I felt the dipping sauce was a bit too little. Normally, I would leave about 30% when eating tsukemen, but this time I finished it all and couldn't even dilute it (I'm not sure if there is hot water to dilute it in the first place). The staff were friendly as well.
