I drank from a bottle for the first time here, haha. Since I'll finish it anyway, I decided to order a bottle with some snacks. It's self-service, so it's easier than ordering drinks one by one. The food was decent for the price, and the staff was friendly. This place is a good spot for casual drinking and enjoying some grilled offal dishes. Thanks for the meal!

At Sanroku Asakusa, try the "Sanroku Special Chilled Tantanmen" for 1,300 yen, with free extra noodles and unlimited highball rice! The sesame sauce has a gentle flavor with a perfect balance of spicy and fragrant Sichuan pepper. It will definitely stimulate your appetite! You can skip the highball rice and still feel satisfied. I had the limited lunch special of cold tantan noodles. Although it's a restaurant known for its grilled offal dishes, they also offer lunch sets like ginger pork and harami steak. The cold tantan noodles were topped with a spicy sesame sauce and green onions. The noodles were thin and nicely chilled. The fragrance of Sichuan peppercorns was strong, making it very delicious.

On the final day of Obon, I had lunch at Sanroku Azabujuban, where they were still open. I ordered the "Motsu no Akadashi Doden Nikomi Teishoku" for 1,100 yen and the "Buta Harami Sumibi Yaki Teishoku" for 1,200 yen. The stew was cooked tenderly in red miso, with tofu and simmered egg added - I was very satisfied! The grilled pork belly is also popular, using Harumi from Joushu pork marinated in sauce and grilled slowly over charcoal. The meat portion was 180g and you can have unlimited refills of rice and miso soup - it was filling enough even without refills.

I forgot to take photos with my friend at Sanroku in Azabu-Juban, but we managed to finish all the yakitori dishes!! They were delicious!! The chef adjusted the cooking to match our eating pace, which was great. The skewers came out at just the right time. I would like to use this place again for work in the future.

I had lunch at Sanroku at 12:15. I was seated at the counter without any issues. However, the seat was right in front of where the staff was grilling meat, so I had smoke coming towards me. I was debating between ordering the popular tripe red miso stew set or the homemade hamburger and large shrimp fry set for 1300 yen. I ended up ordering the latter, and it was delicious! Next time, I think I'll go for the popular menu item. If you're interested, be sure to check it out!

I went around 1 pm. I ordered the limited-time hamburger and shrimp fry set. It was mistakenly taken to someone else's table, but I didn't say anything and just left it there. The hamburger tasted like Ishii's hamburger, with a certain toughness. The shrimp fry looked big but was not that large. I wanted to have it with sauce, but when I asked for it, the person didn't seem to know what sauce was. Even though the person who cooks said they understood, they didn't bring the sauce. I thought maybe they were busy getting it, but the staff remained the same. When I asked for more rice, I only got a response. I asked for half a serving more, and they said, "Half, right?" but they brought a full serving. Is it a service? If they're not motivated, they should quit! I won't go there again!

I had a lunch at a restaurant and ordered the ginger pork set with extra large portion of 240 grams for 1300 yen. It was very filling and satisfying. The rice and miso soup were refillable, making it a great value for the price. (The regular portion of 160g is 1100 yen, which was enough for my girlfriend.) The pork was incredibly tender and the ginger sauce was delicious. The homemade cabbage dressing was surprisingly tasty! The restaurant was busy during lunchtime, but the tables were well spaced out and the staff were friendly and provided excellent service, creating a pleasant atmosphere. I definitely want to come back again. Next time, I want to try the grilled fish that someone else was eating, as it looked delicious! ^_^

I went to a year-end party at Sanroku in Azabu-Juban, 098/200. The restaurant is a 3-minute walk from Azabu-Juban Station, with a spacious space of about 50 seats on two floors. We started with a platter of three appetizers. We immediately started drinking sake. Next, we had a platter of two types of famous motsu sashimi. It was served with red miso stewed giblets and garlic toast. The tender meat stewed in rich red miso and the spiciness of garlic surprisingly went well together! Next, we had grilled motsu. It was simply grilled and really delicious. Then, we had motsu hot pot as the main dish. Once the vegetables and motsu were cooked, it was ready to eat. The soup was refreshing and filled with plenty of motsu! Of course, we couldn't forget the garlic chives. Finally, we had champon noodles as the finishing touch. We drank a lot during the all-you-can-drink session, so the last photo is a bit blurry haha. The dishes were satisfying and filling, making it perfect for a year-end party. Thank you for the meal!

I had the simmered tripe set meal! I had some errands nearby so I stopped by "Sanroku" restaurant. I ordered the simmered tripe in red miso stew set meal for ¥1100 from the lunch menu. During lunch time, you can have extra rice and miso soup. It arrived in just a few minutes. It's quite a generous portion with plenty of tripe, so it's satisfying to eat! You can't have extra rice, but I had a refill of miso soup. The staff were very friendly and even saw me off until the end. They wished me good luck with my work. It was a delightful experience. My stomach and heart are now full. Thank you for the meal.

After a long time, I had a meal inside the restaurant! We started with a appetizer of simmered turnip and burdock with vinegar, served with yuzu pepper. We also had simmered eggplant and shishito peppers, and a platter of two types of sashimi which included liver and tongue. The liver was creamy and the tongue was firm, with different seasonings that paired well together. We also had simmered tripe in red miso broth, simmered egg, and garlic toast. The grilled tripe was served in four pieces each, with a variety of textures and flavors. We also added honeycomb tripe, which was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Homemade hand-kneaded tsukune was also delicious. For dessert, we had a clear soup with seaweed and clams, along with soy sauce-flavored grilled rice balls. The grilled rice balls were savory, and there was also a sweet dish with simmered lion's head mushrooms. It was my first time dining inside a restaurant since before the pandemic, and although the menu seemed slightly different, the staff's service was excellent.

I went to Sanroku, a cost-effective motsu (offal) izakaya in Azabu-Juban with a rating of 3.41 on Tabelog as of June 4, 2022. You can easily pop in and enjoy the liveliest atmosphere in Azabu-Juban (according to my research). The female staff members always seem lively and hardworking. I recommend the grilled pork belly set meal. The rice portion is huge! When you want a hearty lunch, this is the place to go. They also offer grilled fish, but it takes a bit longer to come out.

Located close to Nippombashi Patio, only a 2-minute walk from the station, this street-level restaurant has a fantastic location. Along the street, you'll find popular spots like Yakiniku Sono, Strada, and the supermarket Naniwaya, making it a lively area. The order included: ✴︎Doteni (simmered beef tripe) with boiled egg topping - The tripe still had a slight odor, but the miso flavor helped mask it. However, the boiled egg was not properly prepared, which was disappointing. ✴︎Moyashi (bean sprouts) salad, vinegar-flavored motsu (offal), and lotus root tempura - Each dish was standard izakaya fare with nothing particularly noteworthy. ✴︎Motsuyaki (grilled offal) - The sauce had a strong flavor, and the service from the staff was excellent, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Despite the disappointment with the boiled egg, this place is recommended for larger groups or casual company gatherings due to its good value for money.

In the winter, I crave "Oyster Fry" ❤️ A set of three large "Oyster Fries and Chicken Nanban" ❤️ The oysters on this day were from Okayama prefecture, but they were big and plump ❤️ Milky and crispy with sauce on top, it was irresistible ❤️ The menu said "3 pieces" but when I looked closely, there were actually "4 oyster fries" haha 😄 Another lucky thing that day was the combo partner, "Chicken Nanban" ❤️ Sweet and savory fried chicken with plenty of tartar sauce ❤️ It was delicious on its own, but the excess tartar sauce could also be used for the oyster fries (haha) ❤️ The oyster fries could be enjoyed in two different flavors, which was great ❤️ The set meal also had a variety of side dishes, including pickles, shredded dried fish, and macaroni salad ❤️ I topped my rice with spicy cod roe and enjoyed it ❤️

It suddenly got chilly, autumn is definitely here (lol). And as usual every year! I didn't know about it, but they have a great deal - "3 large oyster fry" and a half size of the "Grand Menu" as the "Gourmet Combo"! Couldn't resist ordering such a good set, so I got the "3 large oyster fry and ginger pork combo" ❤️ The oysters from Hiroshima are literally large and impressive ❤️ Squeezing lemon, pouring sauce, and eating it makes me feel like "Ah, it's autumn" Oysters are definitely a must in the month with an "R", right? (lol) The "3 oyster fry" and "ginger pork" ❤️ The pork seasoned with "ginger sauce" goes so well with rice ❤️ And yet, I couldn't resist adding "mentaiko" as a topping, my weak spot ❤️ This set meal also includes pickles and side dishes, it was delicious ❤️

Had dinner at a grilled offal restaurant. It has a lively atmosphere like a bustling izakaya. The staff are also very energetic. There are not many places where you can order Hoppy, but here you can enjoy ice-cold Hoppy. The inside is frozen, and even the glass is ice-cold. It's perfect with offal.
