At noon on the day of the Sumida River Fireworks Festival, I went to the Champloo House in the 3rd block, where the walls were covered with curtains made of bitter gourd. The restaurant was bustling with locals, tourists, and people from overseas. I ordered the Champloo set meal and was seated at a table in the back of the restaurant. The food arrived quickly, with sides like mozuku vinegar, salad, pickles, and soup. The meal was delicious, especially the bitter gourd which was packed with nutrients. I left feeling energized for the night ahead. Later, I heard about a new business venture and got excited. I'm now considering starting a gallery space and hosting small exhibitions. Reflecting on my own experience of exhibiting in Ginza, I understand the challenges and the allure of such a venture. I hope to support others in their endeavors while crafting my own story. Little Ginza may just be the perfect place for this vision. Where will tomorrow take me?

Cheers with a Seaweed Mango Guava drink, priced at 420 yen per household. The appetizer is spicy konjac and green beans. The konjac is good, and the sea grapes are priced at 820 yen. They are recommended for those who like a crunchy texture. The tofu for 620 yen is a favorite of children. Carrot stir-fry for 880 yen is soft and has a gentle flavor. The Fukuchan pudding for 880 yen has a nice texture that is enjoyable. The salted Nanboku pork cartilage for 1000 yen is delicious, but some may prefer to remove the cartilage. The service is surprisingly normal, unlike the lively Okinawan restaurants we have encountered before.

Lunch at an Okinawan restaurant. I ordered the daily special Okinawa soba and goya champuru set. The daily special had a topping of aosa seaweed, giving it a strong ocean flavor, yet the taste was gentle and calming. The goya was plentiful, ensuring a good dose of vitamins. Okinawan cuisine really makes you feel energized. Thank you for the meal!

I visited this place for the first time in about 15 years. The food and ingredients still have a strong Okinawan feel. The slightly bitter taste of the goya champuru, the sourness of the shikwasa, and the fluffy sweetness of the jimami tofu were all delicious as ever. Despite the changes over the past 15 years, this place has remained the same and it made me feel warm and nostalgic.

There is a restaurant in the basement of a building in the third block of Ginza where you can enjoy Okinawan cuisine. It's called "Chanpuruu-ya," which means "mix" in Okinawan dialect. The spacious interior is filled with the sound of the sanshin, Orion Beer lanterns catch your eye, and the water glasses are made of Ryukyu glass. The table condiments are also typically Okinawan, with island chili peppers. The Chanpuruu-ya set meal costs 1580 yen. This lunch set offers a variety of Okinawan dishes, including Goya Chanpuru, purple sweet potato croquettes, mozuku tempura, three-layered pork simmered dish, jushi, sea grapes, jimaami tofu, and Soki soba. Overall, the dishes are savory and go well with rice. The jushi rice ensures that there's no escaping the flavors. Enjoying it as a side dish with alcohol at this rare restaurant in Ginza where you can experience the Okinawan atmosphere is the way to go. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Visited an Okinawan restaurant in Ginza with colleagues and old friends. They served a variety of dishes from Rafute to Goya Champuru. We enjoyed bottomless Orion beer, Shikwasa Sour, and Shikwasa Sour. The bill was clear and the cost performance was good. The staff's service was also excellent. I would love to visit this place again.

At night, I went with my former colleagues. We had all-you-can-drink, started with Orion beer, and then drank a lot of awamori and other drinks. Awamori is definitely a must for Okinawan cuisine. It was amazing. When the time was up, we were reminded to pay the bill and it was like saying "thank you for the meal." I wanted to drink more. I was reluctant to leave, so I want to go again.

I had passed by this restaurant many times before finally being able to visit. It's a dining place in Ginza, but quite affordable. I had a half set of Goya Champuru and Okinawa Soba for 1000 yen. It came with rice, and the Champuru was decent and the taste was average. The Soba was also... well, just okay. For 1000 yen, the set was satisfying enough and it felt like a typical lunch. It's like a set meal that I would come back for if the taste was a bit better. Thank you for the meal!

I've been really into Okinawa soba lately and my journey continues! This time I visited Chanpuruuya in Ginza. It's located right near Ginza-itchome station, just behind Muji. The interior of the restaurant is filled with Okinawan atmosphere, and I thought it would be nice to come back at night for drinks. I was a little hungry, so I ordered the Soki soba set which came with mozuku vinegar and salad, and I changed the rice to jushi. The soup of the Soki soba had a strong umami flavor and was delicious! This time, the red pickled ginger was already included in the dish, and when I tried it, it was delicious and I understood why it was included! The Soki was mostly made up of cartilage meat, which I thought might be a miss, but it was incredibly tasty. Honestly, I'm not a fan of greasy food, but this was light yet satisfying, and I really liked it! I was very satisfied with the delicious meal. However, I ended up feeling full, so I thought it would have been fine to just order the dish on its own. Haha.

I chose the course with all-you-can-drink for 5000 yen (*^^*) I was especially impressed by the tofu in the appetizers! The Jimami Tofu was so chewy and really delicious. The course was packed with dishes from the classic Goya Champuru, sea grapes, soba, to Blue Seal ice cream for dessert. I was very satisfied with the generous course (*˘︶˘*).:*♡ The price is reasonable, so it's great for company gatherings. The atmosphere in the restaurant is a bit lively, but if that doesn't bother you, it's a place I'd like to visit again!

I happened to find this restaurant while in the Ginza area on a holiday. I ordered the Chanpuru set meal, which had a variety of dishes to try. It seemed to be a popular place as more customers kept coming in, and it was soon full. The set meal came with so much food that I couldn't finish it all. The Goya Chanpuru was especially good with plenty of bitter melon. The soba noodles were different from what I usually have, but they were satisfying and filling. With all the dishes included, I left feeling very full. It seemed like many people were ordering either the Goya Chanpuru set meal or the half-size set meal.

Visited on December 8, 2022. I had a morning meeting, followed by a meeting in Kyobashi in the afternoon, and a conference in Hibiya in the evening. I had some time to spare between the morning meeting and the Kyobashi meeting, so I decided to look for a place to eat lunch. I stumbled upon this Okinawan restaurant while wandering around without a specific destination in mind. The interior had dim lighting and I chose to sit at the empty counter seats. The menu had a variety of options, but their specialty seemed to be set meals. As a beginner to Okinawan cuisine, I thought of ordering Goya Champuru and Soki Soba. There was a "Half Set" on the menu which included half portions of Goya Champuru, half rice, and half Soki Soba. I decided to order that for exactly 1000 yen. The food arrived relatively quickly and was quite generous in portion size. The rice was more like a full portion, and the Soki Soba was more than I expected. The salad in the bowl was a nice addition. The taste of Goya Champuru and Soki Soba was exactly what I expected, a home-cooked flavor. They also accepted orders over the phone. As I was eating, more customers started to come in and many of them ordered the Half Set as well. Considering the price, it was a decent lunch option. The restaurant seemed popular among locals. I enjoyed a satisfying lunch. Thank you for the meal.

A Okinawan restaurant located right in the heart of Ginza. It was underground. During lunchtime, there were many menu options. I had the Goya Champuru set meal with half soba. It came with side dishes, a generous portion of Goya Champuru, and the Okinawan soba was delicious. Above all, the female staff's service was friendly and very pleasant, so I will definitely go back! Despite being in Ginza, the cost performance was also good!

The toilet was a bit dirty. The food came out really quickly, probably because they weren't busy. The Goya Champuru and Yakisoba were both delicious. It would have been even better if the glasses were cleaner and if the service was less sloppy.

If you go behind Ginza Washinokouji, you will find Chanpuruu-ya, an Okinawan cuisine restaurant. Today, I wanted to enjoy Ryukyu cuisine in a luxurious way, so I ordered the Chanpuruu-ya set meal✨. Wow! It's like a royal dish with dishes such as goya, sea grapes, mozuku tempura, Rafute, Jimami tofu, Soki soba, juicy, purple sweet potato croquette. I felt like a king. Tokyo is experiencing scorching heat these days. In this season, Okinawan cuisine is perfect! A red signboard stands out on Ginza's Brick Street. The dancing white letters of "Chanpuruu-ya" create a tropical atmosphere. Descend the stairs to the B1 floor of the store. The interior is flashy and Okinawan-style, with lanterns creating a nice ambiance. Cheers with an Orion beer! The appetizer is simmered taro. Ah, a chilled beer on a hot day is exceptional! Order the classics like sea grapes, goya champuru, and Rafute. Wait, what is "Gurukun no karaage"? When asked, the staff recommended it as "a delicious white fish from Okinawa." Let's try it then. Continuing with a second Orion beer, enjoying conversation with companions, sea grapes and Gurukun karaage are served. Sea grapes have a fun texture. Pop, pop, pop. Gurukun has a thick, satisfying flesh. The fried white fish with a touch of fat pairs well with Orion beer. Let's try some awamori now. Just in time, Rafute is also served. The pork belly is delicious! And it goes well with awamori! Goya champuru. A staple dish in izakayas now. Pickled shallots. Ordered as a palate cleanser. The pleasant acidity is a nice break between the rich flavors of Okinawan cuisine. Pochigi sausage. Not sure what Pochigi is, but it tastes like red octopus Vienna sausage. It's delicious. It was a fun banquet with a pleasant buzz from the awamori. Thank you for the meal!

I went down the stairs to the basement of a Okinawan restaurant called "Chanpururu-ya" in Ginza. I ordered the Soki soba set meal for 900 yen, with an extra 100 yen for a large portion. It came with rice and side dishes like mozuku vinegar. The portion of noodles was quite generous. They also had the usual island chili peppers available, so I used them for a change in flavor.

On Friday night, I visited with two colleagues. Since it gets crowded on weekends, making a reservation might be necessary. We ordered sea grapes, goya champuru, and Rafute. And of course, we had Orion beer! The food was served very quickly. If you want to chat and enjoy the food slowly, it's better to order little by little. Some places make sea grapes too salty, but here it was just right for my taste. The Om Tacorice for the finale! I want to come back for this. All the dishes were satisfying and filling. We ended up spending around 6,000 yen per person (since we drank a lot), so the cost performance was average. The interior had a cozy atmosphere, making it a comfortable place to stay. It gets busy, and they may ask you to leave in 2-3 hours, so it's a short time battle!

Champloo House @ Ginza 3-chome - Orion beer and Okinawan dishes in a cozy atmosphere. Wandering around the Ginza area in search of seasonal drinks that hit the spot, I stumbled upon this place with no plan in mind. Orion beer is a favorite of mine, and I haven't had it in a while, so I decided to give it a try. Cheers to that! I didn't realize that Orion is now under an investment fund, not Asahi Beer. The stir-fried offal was lightly seasoned, making it a perfect accompaniment to the beer. I remember the rich and delicious Nakami Irichi I had in Okinawa. The Rafute (pork belly) had a nice glaze and was full of collagen-rich fatty goodness. It was so tasty that I couldn't resist ordering another round of awamori, my favorite Yae Izumi brand. The tempura platter was a generous mix of spam, white fish, and more, served with a flavorful dipping sauce. The pre-seasoned tempura was a delight to munch on. It was a great experience enjoying Okinawan cuisine after a long time. I can't wait to try their Fu Champloo dish next time!

If you're looking for a good value Okinawan restaurant in Ginza, this is the place to go! Despite feeling a bit nervous about meeting in the upscale Ginza area, I found a great authentic Okinawan restaurant with reasonable prices. The interior had a Okinawan vibe with Orion beer lanterns. I tried their Champuru dish, which was delicious. The purple sweet potato croquette was amazing!
