A few days ago, I noticed a long line outside a ramen shop next door, so I decided to try the restaurant that caught my attention. I went in around 9 PM without having to wait. I ordered the chicken tenderloin cutlet set. When it comes to chicken cutlets, people usually think of breaded chicken thigh with skin. It's crispy, crunchy, affordable, and filling, and it's delicious in its own way like tonkatsu. But what about tenderloin cutlets? I sprinkled a little salt and took a bite. What is this?! The breading is crispy, the meat is juicy, and the broth is fragrant, tender, and full of flavor that spreads in your mouth. The concept of tenderloin being dry diet food is completely overturned. To fully enjoy this tenderloin cutlet, a little salt is definitely the way to go. There was ground mustard on the side, so I tried it with mustard and tonkatsu sauce, but that way, the delicate flavor of the tenderloin gets hidden by the strong taste, which is a shame. The rice supporting the main tenderloin cutlet, the miso soup, the cabbage with sesame dressing, the pickled bamboo shoots, and the shredded radish with katsuobushi were all delicious. I had seconds of rice and cabbage, and I felt satisfied both physically and mentally. It's a bit pricey, but it's definitely worth it. I don't like waiting in line, but if I have the chance, I would love to visit again.

I had a late lunch at Imakatsu! Today, I had some errands to run so my lunch was a bit late. I arrived around 3:15 PM, just in time for the last order at 3:30 PM. During the pandemic, the restaurant was relatively empty, but lately, there has been a long line even before opening, so I hadn't been able to go. When I visited, the restaurant was still crowded with customers, but I was seated at a table without waiting. I ordered the Imakatsu meal for 1700 yen. The chicken breast, pork fillet, minced meat, cream croquette, and eggplant were all delicious, but I especially loved the chicken breast and pork fillet for being tender and juicy. Based on a friend's recommendation, my partner and I went for lunch on a weekday and there was still a line. There were also many foreigners! The recommended chicken tenderloin cutlet was amazing! It was fried lightly so it wasn't heavy at all. Truly deserving of its Michelin star for tonkatsu.

Today, I wanted to enjoy the chicken tenderloin cutlet, so I ordered the "Imakatsu Set" for ¥1,700 and added an additional chicken tenderloin cutlet for ¥500. First, they brought the refillable cabbage with sesame dressing while we waited for the cutlets to arrive. After a while, the set meal with rice (you can choose from five-grain rice or white rice), miso soup, pickles, and the awaited cutlets were served. The minced cutlet was incredibly juicy, with meat juice dripping when picked up with chopsticks. The chicken tenderloin cutlet had the usual tender texture, with a thin coating that didn't overpower the meat. Ah, I'm so full.

When I visited around 11:40 on a weekday, there was already a line... The first round of customers had just entered. But since it's not often that I get the chance, I decided to wait in line. After about a 30-minute wait, I was able to get in. I ordered the Assorted Cutlet Set which included chicken tenderloin cutlet, scallop, large shrimp, and chicken tenderloin cutlet✨✨ It also came with eggplant cutlet(^_^) The chicken tenderloin cutlet was indeed amazing in tenderness and deliciousness✨✨ What's great is that the fried food is quite healthy as well✨✨ The batter is thin, bringing out the maximum flavor of the ingredients(๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و The large shrimp and scallop were also of high quality and substantial! I chose mixed grain rice over white rice. I visited for lunch and ordered the Imakatsu set because I wanted to enjoy various types of katsu. Each katsu was delicious, but the juicy texture of the chicken tenderloin katsu was exceptional. Even though it's fried, since it's made with tenderloin, I feel like I could eat many pieces. The menchi katsu was also meaty and to my liking.

Imakatsu meal for 1700 yen included Nasukatsu, Sasami Katsu, Menchikatsu, Cream Croquette, and a bite-sized Hire cutlet. The Menchikatsu was delicious with juicy meat. The Sasami Katsu was incredibly tender and tasty, unlike any I've had before. The Hire cutlet was also tender and delicious! The Crab Cream Croquette was rich and satisfying. Rice, cabbage, and seconds were free. I was extremely satisfied!

Before the holiday, I arrived at the restaurant around 11:30, but there was already a long line and I couldn't get in on the first round. I finally got in around 12:15 after waiting for 1 hour. It had been 5 years since my last visit, when I used to come twice a week. I wanted to order the mixed cutlet set, but it was no longer on the menu. Instead, I ordered the "Imakatsu Zen" which comes with crab cream croquette, one-bite cutlet, chicken fillet cutlet, and minced cutlet, and I added 2 extra chicken fillet cutlets. I also ordered a beer. The chicken fillet cutlet was delicious as always, tender and juicy. The minced cutlet melted in my mouth and was very tasty, and the one-bite cutlet was refreshing. The crab croquette was okay, but the quality of the cutlets was still high. The salad with sesame dressing was delicious, and you could have unlimited refills of rice and cabbage. The prices had gone up significantly since my last visit, now costing 3400 yen. The seating at the counter was still cramped and close to other customers, and the wait was long, but the satisfaction from the food was definitely worth it. I recommend ordering the dish with chicken fillet cutlet or ordering individual items if you visit.

I had some business in Roppongi, so I checked out Tabelog and found this place! It was incredibly delicious! I had to wait in line for a bit, but it was worth it. The breading was crispy and white, and the meat was tender! I ordered the special loin cutlet and the famous chicken tender cutlet. The chicken tender was so soft and moist, it was really delicious! The loin cutlet was also incredibly tasty! They offered unlimited cabbage and rice, so as usual, I ate a lot!

The chicken cutlet is incredibly tender and delicious! The minced cutlet is also amazing, the best I've ever had. And of course, the pork cutlet is soft and tasty! I highly recommend trying the chicken cutlet. It can get quite crowded, sometimes with a wait of about an hour, but going later in the evening may allow you to get in without waiting. Overall, it's a great value for the quality.

Rosukatsu set meal for 1450 yen. I had the chicken tenderloin before, but the breading has a unique flavor that overpowers the meat. Some parts were easy to bite into, while others were not. The taste is okay for the price. The rice was a bit hard, which I liked. Free refills for cabbage and rice were a nice touch. The multigrain rice is only available for the first serving. There was a wait of about 10 people, mostly foreigners. Depending on the timing, you may be able to get in without waiting. The staff seemed busy, and getting refills could be a bit awkward. I probably won't visit again. For this price, I would expect better taste. Maybe they could learn from Shimizuya in Ikebukuro.

Cabbage was served first, which was delicious with the sesame dressing provided on the table. The Sasami Katsu arrived 3 minutes later. It was incredibly tender and juicy! It was surprisingly light as well. The sauce seemed to overpower the taste of the meat for me personally. I preferred the salt option. The eggplant katsu that came with it was also delicious. I couldn't resist and got a refill of rice and cabbage, which arrived promptly. I think the other tonkatsu dishes would also be delicious. I would definitely want to go back to try more.
