It's a shop located in a building a few minutes from Shinagawa Station Konan Exit. The shop itself is quite small. It was quite crowded on Friday night. As the situation with COVID-19 has calmed down quite a bit, I used it for the first time in a while with colleagues. As expected, yakiniku is incredibly delicious. I prefer eating over drinking, so yakiniku is the best.

When I arrived at the restaurant with my child at opening time, there were already many customers and we were told to finish in 30 minutes. It was tough to have a 30-minute time limit at a yakiniku restaurant.

I used it on Saturday at 18:30. I had made a reservation so I was able to get in smoothly, but without a reservation, you would have to wait for about 30 minutes. The store itself is small and the distance between seats is wide, so the seating capacity is small. Thanks to this, the atmosphere inside the store doesn't feel too noisy, which is nice. The heat is strong, and if it weakens, you can ask the staff to replace it, which is a good point. The all-you-can-eat dishes also arrive quickly after ordering, so it may be good for those who want to eat a lot with a large group.

We visited the restaurant with a foreigner for dinner. We made a reservation over the phone and arrived around 6:30 PM, and the restaurant was almost full. We ordered 6 bottles of The Premium Malt (515 yen each), Gyu-kaku Mori Big 500 (3,129 yen), Gyujo Tan Shio (620 yen), Kimchi Mori (620 yen), King Yacco Regular (515 yen), 10 pieces of Sanchu (473 yen), addictive salted cabbage large (515 yen), collagen kiwi makgeolli (410 yen), Wagyu Geta Kalbi (620 yen), Tsurami salt sauce (410 yen), vegetable platter (515 yen), chicken suki-miso sauce (410 yen), beef hormone miso sauce (515 yen), Gyu-kaku cold noodles half (473 yen), stone pot sesame onion ramen half (473 yen), Kalbi rice medium (368 yen), and soft drinks like cola (305 yen each) x 6. We received a 1,000 yen discount with a coupon. Surprisingly, the foreigner liked the King Yacco and the magic salt on the table. The magic salt tasted like garlic sauce. However, despite ordering the Sanchu with the Gyu-kaku Mori Big 500 at the beginning, it arrived when we had almost finished eating the meat, and the timing of the dishes coming out was inconsistent, possibly due to being busy. Additionally, the seats were cramped, and we couldn't relax due to the 2-hour time limit. Overall, if you're looking for cheap yakiniku, this place is worth considering.

If you're looking to eat yakiniku in Shinagawa, this is the place to go. However, it's always crowded, so it's better to make a reservation if possible. If you don't mind waiting for an hour, then it's not a problem. The restaurant isn't very spacious, but since there are many office workers, it's common to eat at the counter, and people have good manners, so it's not too bothersome. Everything you order is delicious, but be careful with dishes like the Negi Shio Tan, where the toppings are only on one side of the meat, so you don't need to flip it over to eat.

I visited Gyu-Kaku for the first time many years ago. Back then, I had the impression that it was cheap but not the best, probably because I used to work at a high-end yakiniku restaurant. The Gyu-Kaku at Shinagawa Konan Exit is always packed, probably because there are not many izakayas in the area. However, I have noticed that the taste has improved significantly over time. When it comes to yakiniku, beer is a must, and Premium Malt is a good choice. The fruity taste of Premium Malt goes well with yakiniku. Here are my thoughts on some of the cuts: Tongue - needs improvement, a bit tough. Kalbi - delicious, especially the regular one is value for money. Loin - I recommend the premium loin, as the regular one can be too tough. Hormone - great with miso sauce, perfect as a snack. Salted cabbage - I usually order two plates. King Harami - I thought it was discontinued, but it seems to be back. It has a good texture. The prices are a bit high, but there are rumors of a Twitter discount by the company president.

It was a Saturday night, I think... and the restaurant was really crowded, noisy, and it was hard to get the attention of the staff. My friend and I were seated at the counter, which felt a bit strange for a yakiniku place. We didn't plan on drinking alcohol, so we didn't stay long, but even so, sitting at the counter felt awkward. Maybe it's just the location near Shinagawa Station? I was impressed by how the staff kindly answered my silly question about why it's called "Pietro" (apparently, it comes from "pig" in Italian). The Pietro meat was too fatty and heavy, so I ended up leaving some uneaten. You can choose between sauce and salt for the flavor, but they taste pretty similar. And they serve the sauce in small dishes, so dipping the meat in the sauce just makes everything taste the same, so be careful.

I have been here several times, mostly on Fridays and Saturdays, so I always end up waiting for a few groups. At first, I would just leave if there was a wait, but lately I have been willing to wait. It's always crowded wherever you go, but even when it's busy, the turnover is good, so if you wait for about 30 minutes, you can get a table. I think Gyu-Kaku is delicious and reasonably priced, so I feel safe eating yakiniku here. The meat is delicious, but I also like the refreshing salt-based Chorogi salad (515 yen) and the addictive salted cabbage (305 yen)!!

If you want to eat yakiniku, going to Gyu-Kaku is the most reliable option. I am satisfied with the price and taste. However, when I went to the Gyu-Kaku near Shinagawa Station for the first time, it was crowded with families on a Sunday and they had a two-hour time limit, so I couldn't relax. But if you are going with just adults, it shouldn't be a problem. There may be a bit of a wait, but I think it's worth it. The seared Taiyaki-kun is small, so it's a good choice for dessert.

The Gyu-Kaku restaurant in front of Shinagawa Station is always crowded. It seems that the busiest time is when people want to go the most, such as salarymen, students, and couples. I finally got in on my fourth attempt, but Gyu-Kaku is still cheap and good. Since it's a chain restaurant, I feel like the taste is the same at any location, but the Shinagawa store is always crowded, so the staff are running around the store and were able to assist us quickly.
