Three of us visited the restaurant for a light drink and dinner. The place had a fish tank at the west entrance, which we had visited many times in the past. Since it was a weekday, the restaurant was not crowded. I ordered a non-alcoholic beer. The menu had a wide variety of dishes. We enjoyed delicious large oysters, conger eel tempura, and the first matsutake mushrooms of the season. We appreciated that they adjusted the portion sizes to accommodate three people. The rice portion in the set meal was surprisingly generous. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

We used it for a family dinner. We went early, so there were few customers and we were able to eat calmly. However, when we left, the restaurant was full, so it is indeed a popular place. The appetizers, fish, and grilled dishes were all delicious, and it was a very satisfying meal.

Tokyo had a heavy snowfall for the first time in four years, so I took the bus back home from work. While on the bus, an old colleague from my previous workplace invited me to drink in Ayase, Adachi Ward via LINE. We decided to have a New Year's gathering at "Akahyoe" near Ayase Station's east exit. "Akahyoe" used to have a branch at the west exit, but now only the east exit store remains. It's a rare calm atmosphere in Ayase, and the staff's service is excellent. Yesterday, we started with yellowtail daikon, and the fatty tuna was incredibly delicious! We finished with soba and drank plenty of beer, then switched to sake (from Yamagata) like Bakuren and got pleasantly tipsy. It was a great meal. We went to our usual spot in the west exit for the second round and ended up staying until the early hours. I wonder if my senior colleague made it home safely.

I used to frequent this place often. It seems to have become an old-fashioned type of izakaya. I imagine they have struggled during the pandemic. In February 2021, they reopened amidst the excitement. I remember the staff being busy and bustling as they got back into the swing of things after a long break.

Located near Ayase Station East Exit, Red Hyoei on the 2nd floor of Cafe Velocce. We visited for izakaya dining today, although we were originally planning to try their dinner set. The interior of the restaurant had a folk art style and was quite spacious with a nice atmosphere. We ordered the following four dishes for two people: - Amberjack sashimi - Beef tripe hot pot - Pork kimchi pancake - Monja croquette The amberjack sashimi was fresh and delicious. The restaurant's specialty beef tripe hot pot had larger cuts of tripe than expected. As a native of Hakata, I may be a bit picky about tripe hot pot. The pork kimchi pancake and monja croquette were interesting and creative dishes. Next time, I would like to come back for the fried horse mackerel set for dinner.

Due to various circumstances, I was in Ayase from early afternoon, and by chance, a friend was nearby, so we met up! We stopped by this restaurant right near Ayase station. The interior of the restaurant is very clean, and despite initially thinking it was more of a casual place from the outside, it actually has a calm atmosphere. We started with a toast with beer! I later noticed that there were two types of beer, Sapporo and Ebisu. Recently, I was asked to be more specific in my reviews, so I'll try to be as detailed as I can remember. We had garlic sprout and bean sprout namul, octopus tempura, pork yakiniku, and cucumber pickles. I remember these dishes, but I tend to forget to take photos of the food when I'm drinking... so I'll leave it to your imagination for the dishes without names! Everything was delicious, and there were no disappointments. Among the four dishes, I personally liked the cucumber pickles the best! It goes well with alcohol. The seating was comfortable and suitable for various occasions, which I think is what defines a good restaurant. I'll definitely visit again next time.

This is an izakaya in Ayase that I have visited several times. The prices and taste are different from chain stores, and I enjoy delicious sake and snacks that go well with it. This time, I visited as the second stop of the night and ordered a 300ml bottle of junmai ginjo sake for 1350 yen, firefly squid marinated in seaweed for 450 yen, horse mackerel namero for 480 yen, and tuna sashimi for 1000 yen. It's rare for my wife and I to dine out without the kids, so today was a perfect opportunity. I always drink this sake, I think it's called Somurie? I like that it doesn't make me feel tired. The appetizer was garlic simmered chicken in a clear broth with a strong garlic flavor, which was delicious. The marinated squid, namero, and tuna sashimi were all delicious. It was a moment where I was grateful to be Japanese. I will definitely go back again. Thank you.

Actually, I've been going to this restaurant for many years. Although I'm now reducing the frequency due to considering my budget, there was a time when I would eat and drink there three days in a row. Tonight, I returned from a year-end party and arrived at the station around 10 pm. I wanted to go to a reasonable place for a second round alone, but after 10 pm, the staff would be reduced. Out of consideration for the fatigue of the staff and also out of gratitude for this place... as I was thinking, I remembered this place. Come to think of it, they have a late-night set meal after 10 pm. For less than 2000 yen, you get sashimi, grilled fish, a plate of 6 side dishes, seasonal rice or soba. This is the best deal here. Plus, tomorrow is a day off, so I ordered sake in a tokkuri and ochoko. Even with that, it was still in the 2000 yen range. It goes without saying for those who know this place, but the food here is much tastier than a mediocre high-class Japanese restaurant. Thank you for the meal. Actually, I'm not good at office drinking parties. I've always tried to avoid them as much as possible, but this time, my department was in charge of organizing the year-end party. And to top it off, I was assigned the role of vice MC for the first time in my life. I tried to liven up the atmosphere by doing impersonations that didn't really resemble the main MC. Instead of getting everyone excited, I think I ended up bringing the mood down. Well, it's all a learning experience. Tomorrow, I think I'll go for an original set meal at a reasonable place. No, maybe I'll go for a pot and rice porridge set? Hmm...

Recently, I haven't been drinking much in Ayase. When I went there after a long time, I felt a bit lonely as it seemed like there were fewer stores in Ayase. In the midst of that, I visited Akabouei, which I have been using for a while. Despite it being a weekday with few customers, the staff's energetic and polite service always leaves a good impression. We toasted with ice-cold beer, then ordered tuna, mackerel, and fresh oysters multiple times. The service and the freshness of the fish made me think that this is a beloved izakaya that never cuts corners.

On 6/3 (Friday), you can enjoy delicious sashimi at this izakaya that I occasionally visit. The place is always lively and even though it's spacious, it's always crowded! I really like their soba noodles as a finishing touch, but strangely enough, I've become fond of their grilled sea urchin rice balls even though I don't like sea urchin (*^-^*) I end up ordering it every time because it's so delicious! I thought the appearance was like a typical izakaya. The name of the restaurant also seemed that way. However, once inside, it was quite spacious and stylish. The food was also pretty good. We ordered a hot pot, which was shabu-shabu. The meat was delicious. There were 10 of us, but we were able to relax and enjoy our drinks together. This time, I just had regular shochu, but I noticed they had premium shochu displayed on the wall. Well, after the third drink, I can't really taste the difference anyway.

On a day off, I went to drink near my friend's house, this time at the East branch since we went to the West branch last time. The menu had a typical izakaya-style lineup. We ordered the following dishes: Tobio fish tataki for 650 yen, garlic shrimp for 630 yen, stir-fried water spinach and octopus in oyster sauce for 680 yen, and pork marinated in miso for 670 yen. Among them, the Tobio fish tataki was outstanding with no fishy taste. It's a dish I would definitely want to have again. The other dishes were also delicious. This restaurant has a good balance of meat, fish, and seasonal vegetables. I would like to visit this place again.

Tonight I went for a stroll in Ayase. I often come here, but a friend recommended a delicious restaurant, so I decided to check it out. Today I went to "Akabē Higashiguchi," located about a 1-minute walk from Ayase Station East Exit. The interior of the restaurant is a nice Japanese-style izakaya with tatami seating, table seating, and a counter, making it suitable for parties. The manager led us to the counter where we ordered beer, which was served in a perfectly chilled glass and tasted great. My companion chose an original cocktail called "Apple Ball Wine," which the restaurant is known for. They have a wide variety of original cocktails, which I think would be enjoyable for women. We started with a sashimi platter with 6 types of fish for 1440 yen. It included bream, aoyagi clam, tai snapper, salmon, and hamachi. I love shellfish, so I was delighted with the selection, especially the fresh bream. We also ordered a colorful appetizer platter for 980 yen, chicken harami with ponzu sauce for 380 yen, deep-fried grated yam with spicy cod roe for 530 yen, and a small appetizer for 300 yen. Everything was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous for the price. The manager was very friendly and provided detailed explanations. The only downside was that the restroom was a bit old, which was a shame considering the overall great atmosphere of the restaurant. Nevertheless, I will definitely come back for the delicious food. When I'm looking to drink around Ayanose Station, I often go to Akabee Higashiguchi store. They stay open late, so I sometimes use it as a second stop. All the dishes are delicious, but my personal favorite is the croquette. It's a bit on the expensive side for a croquette, but it's packed with plenty of beef, so you'll definitely feel satisfied after eating it. All the staff members are lively, energetic, and work with enthusiasm, creating a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy your drinks. I definitely want to visit again.

The izakaya in Ayase has quite a long history. It is conveniently located in front of the station, so I often visit. The daily specials are varied, so I never get tired of coming back. My favorite is the shochu that has been diluted with water and aged. Served in a glass with plenty of ice, it's very refreshing. It's apparently a common way to drink shochu in Kyushu, but it was new to me and now it's all I drink! The food is also delicious. The staff are flexible and accommodating to individual orders, which is helpful. The only downside is that they tend to rush you to leave when closing time comes. It would be nice if they waited until the conversation naturally ended. However, this is not a big issue and depends on the staff. Overall, I think this is one of the top restaurants in Ayase! I will definitely visit again!
