Imafuku is one of the few sukiyaki specialty restaurants in Tokyo that has been awarded a Michelin star. Located a 7-minute walk from Shirokane Takanawa Station on the Tokyo Metro Mita Line, it is in a residential house. Reservations can be made via email, and communication in English is also possible. The menu is divided into shabu-shabu and sukiyaki, and this time we chose the sukiyaki course. The course price is 13,000 yen per person, and each person is provided with 2 slices (120g) of sliced Japanese black beef. The course includes appetizers, vegetables, rice, and dessert. Although the amount of meat is only 2 slices, the Japanese black beef, which melts in your mouth, has just the right amount of volume. A unique feature of Imafuku is the foamy egg provided. Additionally, we ordered an additional grilled beef tongue (8 pieces) for 6,000 yen. The taste was very good, but the price is slightly high.

Review: This is the best place for delicious beef tongue shabu-shabu in Japan! Taste: Truly delicious, the beef tongue has a great texture and melts in your mouth! Crowdedness/Wait time: I made a reservation so there was no wait. Ambiance: The interior and exterior are clean and have a cozy atmosphere. Cost performance: It's a bit pricey but I recommend visiting at least once in your lifetime! Access: I went by car. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Had a dinner meeting at Imafuku, a shabu-shabu and sukiyaki restaurant in Shirokanetakanawa. It's been 9 years since my last visit. I ordered sukiyaki this time, featuring Kagoshima black Wagyu sirloin. The thick slices of meat are cooked in a rich broth that complements the rice well, and they don't serve udon for the finishing touch. The additional minced cutlet was delicious too. The grilled squid was also tasty. This famous restaurant, affiliated with Yazawa Meat, held a Michelin one-star rating until 2022. The food was delicious, but I've been having a lot of meat-heavy meals lately with shabu-shabu and yakiniku, so I felt a bit heavy towards the end. Thank you for the meal! #Imafuku #Shirokanetakanawa #KagoshimaBlackWagyu #sukiyaki #shabushabu #MichelinOneStar #MICHELINGuide #JapaneseCuisine #hotpot #Wagyu #JapaneseFood #meatdish #YazawaMeat #MinatoWardGourmet #Shirokanegourmet #wagyu #japanesefood #foodporn #Deliciousgram #ThankYouForTheMeal #instafood #yummy #gourmet #delicious

"Imafuku" is a sukiyaki and shabu-shabu specialty restaurant located in Shirokanetakanawa, which has been awarded a Michelin star. The restaurant is spacious with private rooms available, and there are plenty of staff members. I tried the premium beef sirloin sukiyaki course for 13,000 yen, which included sirloin, fillet, vegetable assortment, rice, pickles, red miso soup, and dessert. The staff cooks everything for you, starting with the meat wrapped in fluffy meringue-like egg. The high-quality Japanese black beef has a perfect balance of sweetness from the fat and umami from the meat, making it incredibly delicious and tender. The vegetables, including boiled Chinese cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, green onions, onions, watercress, and tomatoes, were also delicious. The second serving of meat is served in a Kanto style. If you want to try sukiyaki in Tokyo, this is definitely a fantastic choice. - Name: Imafuku - Google Maps: Imafuku 03-5420-2914 - Nearest Station: Shirokanetakanawa (278m from the station) - Business Hours: Mon-Fri 17:00-23:00, Sat/Sun/Holidays 11:30-14:00, 17:00-23:00 - Closed: No regular holidays - Reservation: Available - Budget: Dinner 15,000-19,999 yen, Lunch 10,000-14,999 yen - Other Information: Private rooms available for 2, 4, or 6 people, Private reservations for 20-50 people, No smoking, No parking (parking available in front of the restaurant)

It was delicious! The meat and vegetables were tasty, but I was a little surprised when the egg came out in a meringue-like form. It was actually easy to eat and enjoyable. I was also surprised that there were only two pieces of meat per person, but it was just right.

Introduced by a friend, I had a relaxing meal in a private room. The carrot-shaped dessert was too cute. It's been years since I had sukiyaki at a restaurant. I thought it was a bit stingy to only have two pieces of meat, but it was enough. The air itself tasted delicious. If only I had been 10 years younger, I definitely wouldn't have appreciated it as much, haha. The panna cotta after the meal was light and had an elegant taste. I am grateful for this blissful time.

I ordered the sukiyaki course at the Michelin one-star sukiyaki and shabu-shabu specialty restaurant, Meat Yawata series. You can enjoy both Kansai-style and Kanto-style sukiyaki, and personally, I preferred the Kansai-style. The fluffy egg that you dip the sukiyaki in is incredibly delicious. Making egg over rice with the sukiyaki-soaked egg was also amazing. The menchi-katsu was also very tasty. The restaurant was spacious and casual, making it easy to visit!

Meat Yuzawa-san's affiliated store. They offer sukiyaki and shabu-shabu courses. Both are so appealing that it's hard to choose between them. The quality of the meat was perfect. The combination of egg and meat was excellent! The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm and clean. The staff's service was also good.

I was brought here by an acquaintance. It's a trendy looking restaurant in a building in a back alley. The exterior is very stylish and the interior is very clean, with friendly staff who guided us well. However, the chairs were a bit narrow and uncomfortable for the price. The food, especially the meat dishes, were all delicious. But in terms of value for money, it wasn't that great... I would go back if someone else treated me.

I have always wanted to visit Imafuku-san. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was more casual than I had imagined. I went at the end of the year and was recommended the white truffle, so I tried the sukiyaki with white truffle. It was so delicious... I had the image that sukiyaki was a dish you couldn't eat a lot of, but at this restaurant, the broth wasn't too heavy so I could eat it all up easily.

Personally, even though Doraemi is not particularly interested in beef, there are many names and branches mentioned, and when it comes to beef, the famous shabu-shabu and sukiyaki restaurant of Yawazawa Meat is a must-visit place. This place allows for a leisurely dining experience without worrying about the time, and reservations can be made on the same day. While Jumbo Yakiniku is a well-known restaurant, the lunch options at Yawazawa, such as their hamburgers, are also popular. On this day, despite being cold from the early morning (returning from golf in Oarai, Ibaraki), due to a nonsensical diversion by a companion, I was taken on foot to the burnt ruins of my alma mater (with no interest or school spirit). Angry and hungry, I quickly (and playfully) urged my companion to this place. Moving on to the main topic, upon entering the restaurant, the first thing you see is the meat showcase. Looking up, you will see wooden triangular pyramids lined up at the ceiling, reminiscent of ISSEY MIYAKE's BAO BAO, giving a modern and sophisticated feel. The open seating arrangement, while exuding a sense of luxury, has a casual vibe akin to a family restaurant, targeting upscale customers, expatriates entertaining guests, and families. While not the typical choice for Doraemi, it is still an interesting place to visit. For this first visit, I left the ordering to my food-indifferent companion and opted for the shabu-shabu course with some additional a la carte dishes. The appetizers were elegant and delicious, setting high expectations for the meal. The shabu-shabu featuring premium beef was of excellent quality, with a refined broth and creatively cut carrot slices. The assorted salads, simmered conger eel, and beef fillet and avocado with wasabi soy sauce were all tasty, despite the soy sauce being a bit too salty. The meal was rounded off with a satisfying ramen dish, leaving me wanting to come back for more. Overall, the food quality and atmosphere were top-notch, making it a place worth revisiting. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Sukiyaki is a national dish loved by many, so it's hard to believe that there are people who dislike it. I recently visited Imafuku, a Michelin one-star restaurant, to try the best sukiyaki. The experience was pure bliss - the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Each table had a dedicated staff member taking care of us, adding to the overall wonderful dining experience. I left feeling completely satisfied and would love to visit again in the future.

I decided to visit Imafuku based on online information only, and it turned out to be the right choice! I'll definitely come back here for sukiyaki next time. For our company's Christmas party, we made a reservation here. The first floor has floor seating (booths) while the second floor has private rooms. Since it was a casual gathering with colleagues of similar age, we opted for the relaxed atmosphere of the first floor. The course menu was simple compared to other sukiyaki restaurants, but we were here for the sukiyaki so we didn't mind the lack of sashimi. Although I am not a die-hard fan of Meat Yuzawa, the quality of the meat and the attentive staff in the beautiful restaurant left me completely satisfied. I will definitely come back! They also offer shabu-shabu courses, but I'll stick with sukiyaki next time!

Imafuku at Shirokane Takanawa serves both shabu-shabu and sukiyaki. When I said I wanted to try both, they suggested a course where I could have shabu-shabu plus one slice of sukiyaki, so I went with that. The appetizers were delicious, raising my expectations! First, the sukiyaki. Why is one slice of sukiyaki so delicious? I resisted the urge to have more and switched to shabu-shabu. The shabu-shabu came with two types of dipping sauces, ponzu and sesame. The meat was all light and incredibly tasty! I even ordered an extra type of meat and finished with noodles. We also had a bottle of shochu. I left feeling full and happy! I love hot pot after all! Thank you for the feast!

Sukiyaki course. When I entered the restaurant and gave my name, they said, "We don't have a reservation under that name today." I was puzzled because I had received a reservation email and had also called during the day. But suddenly, they said, "Oh, there it is. We'll proceed with the course." However, I wished they had apologized for their mistake. The course started with the staff carefully grilling each slice of meat for sukiyaki. We had a total of 2 slices of meat, each weighing 60g, which was quite generous. We enjoyed it with fluffy egg. Rice and red miso soup were free for refills!

Two women enjoyed both sukiyaki and shabu-shabu. I usually choose one or the other, but my friend always eats both. It was a fun day and I thought it was nice to enjoy both options. Just wanted to share this experience with you all! :)

A private room favorite among celebrities, this sukiyaki restaurant is part of the Meat Yazawa group. It's a bit flashy, but I was taken there by a friend for my first visit. It's a high-class establishment associated with Nakai-san. We ordered a few items a la carte and then sukiyaki and shabu shabu. The quality of the menchi katsu was exceptional, with no hint of any unpleasant smell. The salt ponzu that came with the shabu shabu preparation was a pleasant surprise - even coming from Tokushima, a Ponzu vinegar mecca, I had never tasted anything like it before. The meat was top-notch, as expected from a specialty shop. It may not be a bargain, but it's definitely worth the price. If you're looking for a place for business entertainment or special occasions, this is a great choice. The complete privacy of the individual rooms is a nice touch for those who prefer a discreet setting.

On a holiday lunch, I felt like having a bit of luxurious meat, so I went for sukiyaki. I have only been to Imabuku-san at night before, where they kindly accommodated my request to have both shabu-shabu and sukiyaki. It's a very convenient place for business dinners as well. Today, I enjoyed a quick sukiyaki. I couldn't help but devour it. The meat melted in my mouth instantly... so delicious that I wanted to eat more and more. Highly recommended menu: sukiyaki.

The appetizers, meat, vegetables, service, timing, and drinks were all perfect. It's ideal for entertaining guests. Even though it's shabu-shabu, the smell doesn't stick to your clothes. All I remember is that the meat was incredibly tender and the appetizers were delicious. The location is great, so there are no incidents with celebrities or anything like that.

The meat melts in your mouth. Just one bite and you can't help but moan in delight. The dipping sauce with meringue-like egg is a fresh twist. I'm not a fan of slimy textures, so this is a pleasant surprise. The carrot cut into the shape of a cow in the vegetable set is adorable and made me smile. I heard that the set alone isn't filling enough from reviews, so I also ordered the meat with avocado wasabi soy sauce and beef tongue. I'm stuffed now. Thank you for the delicious meal!
