I had lunch at Yakiniku Mansei, where I ordered the Mansei lunch set which was newly released. The restaurant was clean and had a luxurious atmosphere with private-like partitions. I ordered kimchi and namul as side dishes, along with a hot lemon tea. The main dish consisted of 4 pieces of pork and 4 pieces of karubi (beef ribs), although the karubi was more like lean meat without much marbling. The pork was decent but nothing special. The hot lemon tea was disappointingly lukewarm. I also tried to use PayPay for payment but realized that the 200-point cashback offer was only for purchases over 5,000 yen. Overall, it was an average dining experience.

I visited Yakiniku Mansei, which opened in August. When the elevator opened on the 6th floor, I was greeted by a vibrant red space. The hallway leading to my seat was also red, giving off a retro bubble-era vibe. The seats had a darker tone, which was somewhat calming. I ordered a Namul assortment for $5.50, a thick cut assortment of 5 types of meat with beef tongue for $57.75, a feast of Wagyu Kalbi for $83.38, Kuppa for $9.02, and a meal set (rice + soup) for $5.50. I also ordered soft serve ice cream. The meat was of good quality, but maybe due to my age, eating only Wagyu felt a bit too fatty. Perhaps lunch would be more suitable. However, the seasoned dishes like Namul and Kuppa had great flavors. The Hokkaido soft serve ice cream I had at the end was exceptionally delicious. It had a different taste from Mini Stop's soft serve, but it was just as good. This can be found at other Mansei locations that don't serve Yakiniku, so I would love to have it again if I visit another Mansei.
