I came here because I could get tickets for a recreation at work at a cheaper price. Lunch is included here as well. The weather is nice, but the traffic congestion on the metropolitan expressway is terrible. It took 2 hours to get to a place that is usually a 50-minute drive for 32 kilometers. I'm glad I left early. Lunch is at 12 o'clock and the play starts at 1 o'clock. The bento lunch box is filled with three times the amount of food you can see, and it tastes delicious. Ms. Dairei is so elegant and beautiful. She exudes beauty from her fingertips, gaze, smile, and voice. Her singing and dancing skills are amazing, a true product of the training in Takarazuka. I felt like I saw the true strength of Takarazuka. The beautiful Ms. Dairei made us laugh a lot. Wonderful! Applause and cheers!

I think sushi that you can eat quickly is good for a meal in about 20 minutes inside the theater, so I am looking forward to enjoying Azuma-san's sushi at the Shinbashi Enbujou. The sushi was satisfying with nigiri of lean tuna, white fish, and salmon roe. The miso soup was delicious. You can make a reservation online in advance. There is a name tag on the table, so the seat is secured, which is a very good service. Tea is prepared in a pot, so you can just pour it yourself without having to order.

Reservations are necessary during Kabuki performances, and the food is prepared in advance for a set time. We have been for both matinee and evening performances, but there are quite a few groups and not much atmosphere. They will serve beer if requested. You can see the menu on the Shimbashi Enbujou website. We usually order the 5000 yen bento as we like a good portion. The taste is decent, with a variety of dishes like simmered, grilled, fried, seafood, meat, and salad. We never get tired of it. This time, it was the debut of Ebizo's son, Kangen-kun. He was very talented and impressive. Well, maybe we'll visit again next year.

Both theaters have raised not only ticket prices but also bento prices. However, there is one option that only costs 1,000 yen, yes, just 1,000 yen including tax. It is delicious! I recommend the bento boxes at the theater, which are prepared with care. It's fun to get them at the Ginza department store basement, but the theater bento boxes are highly recommended! They sell out quickly before the show starts, so make sure to get yours early.

I was invited by an acquaintance to a performance at the Shimbashi Enbujo theater and we had a meal together. I don't usually attend this kind of theater performances, but since it was an invitation, I decided to visit. The performance lasted about 2 hours with a break in between for meals, so we headed to the dining hall on the basement floor. There were about 300 seats available and bento boxes were prepared. According to the website, they offer meals during performances and have a dining facility in the basement for daily bento box service. The meal itself was said to be worth around 2,000 yen. The performance featured famous talents seen on TV and was very enjoyable. Most of the acts focused on traditional beauty, which was comforting to watch. The Shimbashi Enbujo theater is managed by the Shochiku Company. The performances included comedy, opera, drama, kabuki, and even stages based on anime. I felt that the company is able to blend tradition with modernity, intersecting with the culture of Akihabara. Since it was a rare experience for me, I'll provide a brief review of the bento box.
