The first bento box I bought here was a fried chicken bento when I was 44 years old. The taste was crispy and normal, just delicious enough. But I felt that there was something special about it. Now, my go-to is Tawaraya. Today, I will eat Tawaraya's bento because rice is also a special presence. Please pour the tempura sauce over the rice. I sincerely ask you.

The variety and affordability of bento boxes are attractive. If there was a little more volume, it would be even better.

This is a small shop located about a 3-4 minute walk from Kanda Station on the JR Line, along Heisei Street in Kanda. The shop has a sign saying "bento" and on the tables, there were bento boxes and rice balls lined up. Customers were coming in one after another, so there wasn't much time to hesitate! I purchased two rice balls. One was a classic salmon rice ball and the other was a rice ball with ginger and seaweed. As it is a shop that specializes in rice, you could really taste the deliciousness of the rice in the rice balls. The fillings were also packed generously, so there was plenty of filling despite the compact appearance. It was delicious. There were also bento boxes with egg rolls and fried chicken, as well as bento boxes with plenty of rice, all of which looked appetizing.
