Kobe-ya Restaurant Chofugaoka Branch @ Chofu City, Tokyo @ Western food, bread It has been over 3 years since my last visit, so this review is based on that. Tonight, I arrived at the restaurant 3 minutes after the last order time, but they welcomed me warmly, which greatly increased my favorable impression. This was especially appreciated because a few days ago, I was rudely turned away from another restaurant for being three minutes late (although it was understandable since it was past the LO time). Kobe-ya Restaurant is located at the Shimo-Fuda intersection on the Koshu Kaido in Chofu (Fuda). If you take the train, it's on the Keio Line at Fuda Station. It's on the corner of a building on the first floor, with two sides made of glass, making the interior very bright. You can see cars passing by on the Koshu Kaido from inside the restaurant, and conversely, the interior is visible from the road. There is a covered parking lot next to the restaurant on the first floor of the building, with parking attendants for guidance, making it convenient. No parking ticket is required. When you enter the restaurant, you'll first see bread and side dishes, and during the Corona countermeasures period, there is a space for selling bento boxes. Beyond that is the open kitchen counter seats and table seats. With a total of 110 seats, it's quite a large restaurant, but it doesn't feel overly spacious and provides a calming atmosphere. The male staff members are well-dressed, and the female staff members in maid uniforms provide attentive service, which is very pleasant. The homemade all-you-can-eat bread with 7 varieties for 350 yen is popular, and staff members carrying baskets come around quite frequently during the meal. I ordered: Seafood a la carte 1,680 yen Grilled sea bream with mushrooms, soy butter sauce 1,600 yen All-you-can-eat freshly baked bread 350 yen The seafood a la carte includes grilled sea bream and squid, tomato basil sauce, shrimp with herb breadcrumbs, scallop and vegetable gratin, and is quite diverse, with the basil and tomato sauces adding a beautiful touch. The grilled sea bream is served with crispy sea bream with skin on, sautéed eringi and shimeji mushrooms, making it quite delicious. The bread includes 7 varieties, such as the soft Kobe-ya Special with a yellowish hue, cheese-filled soft baguette, raisin bread, raisin, walnut, and dried fruit bread, red bean bread, and they are all delicious. The table seats by the window are large and spacious, making it a relaxing place to dine.
