I soaked in the hot spring at Yumori no Sato and had lunch at the restaurant here. The hot spring water is black and leaves a smooth feeling on the skin. By the way, the fact that the dipping sauce at the nearby "Soba Restaurant Yorimichi" is jet black might be inspired by this hot spring. This is my second visit, and I chose the seasonal Tempura Soba, just like the first time (I guess I'm a bit conservative). The seasonal Tempura Soba costs 1,518 yen and includes cherry tomatoes, purple sweet potatoes, shishito peppers, lotus root, carrots, shrimp, eggplant, squid, and pumpkin. Similar to last time, I appreciate that the dipping sauce for the tempura and the soba are served separately. The tempura was a bit oily and lacked a crispy texture. The soba was a bit soft. By the way, the soba comes with a free large serving. After soaking in the hot spring, it just felt right to have a beer. I also bought a mango juice on my way out. Thank you for the meal.

After visiting the sightseeing spot (?) Jindaiji in Chofu, I decided to check out a nearby hot spring that apparently had black-colored water. I found out that there are shuttle buses available from Chofu Station and Musashisakai Station, and even around 4 pm, the place was packed with customers! The water was indeed pitch black! Inside, there were real rabbits, swings, and they even gave a candy set as a souvenir for kids... so it seems like a fun place to visit with small children. I enjoyed some fruit milk and soft serve ice cream before heading back. The hot spring here has really nice water. It's pitch black, which is surprising at first, but it makes your skin smooth. They also provide a bus ride back. The restaurant here is also recommended, the food is delicious. I had soba and then ate some Goppe-mochi while drinking.

The fried chicken here was so delicious that I think ordering it is the right choice! I love dining out and sometimes only go to restaurants, and I liked the fried chicken here more than at "Sengawa Yukemuri no Sato". You get four large pieces for around 800 yen. It's similar to Tatsuta-age. Sometimes when food is too big, it can lose flavor, but this fried chicken was hot and juicy. The seasoning was just right, perfect for after a bath! I think it would make a great snack for those who enjoy drinking alcohol!

My husband occasionally goes there and I heard that there are rabbits to see during the break time, so I visited for the first time. When it comes to nearby hot springs, we usually think of Yunokemuri no Sato Sengawa, but this facility has a different charm. If we have business in this area again, I would like to visit to see Chacha the rabbit. [Facility] It is about a 5-6 minute walk from Jindaiji and a 15-20 minute walk from Chofu Station. The facility also provides a shuttle bus, and there are local buses running nearby. The building has an old-fashioned Japanese traditional house atmosphere, a bit old. It feels like a folk craft udon shop. [Hot Springs] I visited around 7 pm on a weekday, and there were fewer than 10 people in the women's bath. It was spacious enough to relax comfortably. The hot spring water is black, commonly seen in Tokyo and Kanagawa. The outdoor bath surrounded by trees is more popular than the indoor bath, and it seems very pleasant to use it in late autumn to winter. [Dining] The menu is smaller compared to Yunokemuri no Sato, but you can still enjoy it, especially with the soba noodles as the main dish. However, since I'm not a fan of soba noodles, my options were limited. Fortunately, there was fried oysters on the seasonal menu! It was a bit more expensive than Yunokemuri no Sato, but it was satisfying with large oysters and plenty of vegetables. [Summary] A natural environment with a rich nature feel despite being near the station. When combined with Jindaiji, it seems to enhance the extraordinary and traditional Japanese atmosphere. I thought it was a bit pricey, but there is a cheaper short-term use option called the Crow's Bathing Set. Personally, the highlight was the rabbit Chacha!

Tokyo Chofu (Jindaiji). A hot spring facility with outdoor baths and a mist sauna, offering a sauna meal called "Yumorisoba" for 840 yen. The hot spring facility, Jindaiji Natural Hot Spring Yumori no Sato, is available for 1000 yen. The mist sauna is filled with steam, making you feel like you're in a dim sum steamer. After warming up, you can step outside for some fresh air. There is also a cold water bath in the outdoor area. The facility includes a clean dining area where you can enjoy a sauna meal after sweating it out. We ordered a set of draft beer and two appetizers for 1100 yen. The appetizers included edamame, pickled radish, rolled omelette, and marinated cucumber, which paired well with the beer. We also had some grilled chicken (thigh and skin) with a delicious sweet and savory sauce. The menu offers a variety of drinks and dishes. However, the last shuttle bus to the station is at 20:10, so we decided to end our meal here to avoid drinking too much. As Jindaiji is famous for its soba noodles, we ordered the "Yumorisoba" which came with tempura bits, hot spring egg, fried tofu, yam, seaweed, and fish cake. We chose to have it warm, and it was packed with ingredients, providing a satisfying meal. The tempura bits added a mild flavor to the soup over time, enhancing the overall taste. The warm soba noodles were slightly soft, and the soup was rich due to the yam and hot spring egg. Yumorisoba was the perfect choice for a meal or a drink to end the day. Despite its slightly remote location, there is a free shuttle bus from Musashikoyama and Chofu. If you're feeling tired, a sauna session followed by a drink is highly recommended!

I didn't notice it when I was traveling by bus, but there is a hot spring in Jindaiji that I discovered while walking from Chofu Station. It has a somewhat remote and charming feel to it. After entering, you leave your shoes in a locker and exchange the key for a changing room locker key at the front desk. The payment is settled afterwards, and you can also use the barcode on the locker key for food and drinks within the facility. It reminded me of the Totsuka Onsen in Tokyo, with its black water and subtle foam floating on top. It may not be suitable for those who are very particular about cleanliness! The place is small and not crowded. The sauna is a low temperature salt kiln steam at around 50 degrees, with humidity covering for the low heat. The outdoor bath is made of stone with charcoal spread underneath, providing a decent temperature below 20 degrees. The purifying effect of the charcoal must be good for the body, right? There is a hanging chair in one corner of the outdoor bath, which is very relaxing. After relaxing, I hydrated with a non-alcoholic drink. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I visited this place when it was called "Shin-Daiji Onsen Yukari". I found out from Google Maps that it was within walking distance from Kumokuma-do, so I decided to go there. It took me about 14 minutes to walk from there, passing by Toyota company housing. Upon arrival, I was given a locker key in exchange for my shoe locker key. The lockers were a bit difficult to use as they were long and narrow. The prices I paid were: - 630 yen for a beer - 1000 yen for entrance fee (free time) - 250 yen for a towel set If you only stay for an hour, the entrance fee is 800 yen. The baths were all black water, and it had a traditional feel with small baths lined up. However, there were also baths with screens showing videos, which was enjoyable. After bathing, I went to the second-floor dining area, but it was closed for a break from 3-5 pm. This was the first time I encountered a restaurant in a day-use onsen facility that wasn't open continuously. So, I went to "O-niwa no Gochisou-ya" on the first floor and had a beer there. The seating was on small round tables with cushions, and the beer was cold and delicious. There were picture books, toys, and even rabbits in the restaurant. You could go out to the garden in sandals, where there were stilts and rocking chairs to play with. There were also tables for dining outside, like a terrace. You could also enjoy a foot bath with rice bran water, and it seemed like you could bring your own items to soak while enjoying the bath. Overall, it was a nice onsen to visit if you happen to be in the area, but not necessarily worth a special trip.

Arrived at the day trip hot spring from the Seino vegetable direct sales store on 2/11. First, decided on a base. Today, I decided to try the second floor dining area first because I wasn't quite full yet. The restaurant was designed so that you couldn't see the view outside. I sat at a secluded table in the front. I looked at the menu but wasn't sure what to eat. ☆Dining Area: Cold tofu, highball. The highball was pleasantly strong. After that, I went to the usual resting area on the first floor. There was a corner table available, so I sat there. ☆Garden Feast: Oolong highball, beauty egg boiled egg, mixed nuts, highball. As for the bath, today I entered the outdoor jacuzzi hot spring bath in the center.

I visited a local hot spring for the first time. The spring quality is quite unique, so it may be a matter of personal preference. I liked it, but my wife didn't. We had a late lunch on the second floor. - Tempura soba set: 1,490 yen (me) - Shirasu bowl: 890 yen (wife) - Draft beer The tempura soba set was good because the soba dipping sauce and tempura dipping sauce were separate, which I liked. On 10/27, after visiting a local vegetable market at Fukami Daishi Temple, we went to a day trip hot spring. Upon entering, we secured a base seat. There is a restaurant on the second floor, but we chose to dine at Gochisoya on the first floor for the view. Initially, we sat outside in the garden, but then moved to an indoor table by the window. We then enjoyed the hot spring bath. The hot spring water was black with a strong mineral smell. The order of the hot spring baths from hottest to cooler was: indoor bath -> outdoor jacuzzi -> outdoor waterfall view. There may have been other hot spring baths as well. The outdoor waterfall view bath was quite hot and we could stay in it for a while, but in this season, it might feel cooler after a longer soak. We relaxed in the jacuzzi, feeling the bubbles, and then moved to the indoor bath where we could feel the water flow from the hot spring spout nearby. In the resting area, we enjoyed canned chu-hi and beer that we bought inside the facility.

This is my first time writing a review here! My favorite hot spring is Yumori no Sato, and there is a restaurant on the second floor! I always have a drink here after soaking in the hot spring, and then take a light nap in the resting area. I haven't tried the soba here before, as there are many famous soba shops near the temple, so I usually eat there before coming to the hot spring. This time, I decided to skip the famous shops and head straight to the hot spring. I ordered the weekday-only draft beer set (ginger cucumber, rolled omelette), sake (Kii no Kuniya Monzaemon), and slimy vegetable soba (cold). First, the draft beer after the hot spring is exceptional! The sake was crisp and delicious! The ginger cucumber and rolled omelette were also tasty as always. Now, for the first time, I tried the soba! The soba was quite delicious! Honestly, I don't really understand the deliciousness of soba... I can tell when it's not tasty, but I never seem to be amazed no matter how famous the shop is. I can appreciate the taste of the broth, though. Well, I'm satisfied with the relaxed atmosphere and laid-back ambiance. If they could reduce the menu options, it would be easier to visit without worrying about the restaurant closing after lunch. On a certain holiday evening in May 2019, my wife, our junior high school daughter, and I stopped by the Suda-ji natural hot spring "Yumori no Sato." This facility is a day trip hot spring located in Suda-ji. It is far from the train station, so we took advantage of the free shuttle bus that runs every hour from the Keio Line Chofu Station. The hot spring here has a cola-like color and truly gives off a "hot spring" vibe. According to the website, the "jet-black black hot spring contains plenty of organic substances called 'humic acid,' which are matured from plants such as kelp and ferns contained in the stratum 1500 meters underground." I see. I leisurely enjoyed the indoor bath, open-air bath, aroma bath, and salt kiln bath (sauna) for about an hour. Then, I reunited with my wife and daughter on the first floor in the tatami relaxation space. There was a shop selling soft serve ice cream and shaved ice with a sign saying "O-niwa no Gochisou-ya." We took a break while enjoying soft serve ice cream and shaved ice after bathing.

I recently realized that taking a relaxing bath is a good way to recover from fatigue, not just getting a massage. The other day, I went to a hot spring in Inagi, and this time, I went to one in Chofu. I took a shuttle bus from Chofu Station to a super sento called Yumori no Sato near Jindaiji. It was actually a wagon car, not a bus. There were about four of us who got on from Chofu Station. There is also a shuttle from Musashisakai. We left our shoe locker keys and paid the fee later. There is a slight price difference between the one-hour course and the other options. I thought one hour might be too short, so I chose the free option. The hot spring facilities seemed a bit old compared to the one in Inagi, but it was still good. It was nice to have it not crowded on a weekday afternoon. After warming up, I went to the dining area for some cool down. I decided to go for the draft beer set. For the two appetizers, I chose edamame and tamagoyaki. Both were nothing special, but not bad either. After warming up in the hot spring, enjoying a beer, and doing some stretching, I felt great. Stretching, along with hot spring and alcohol, is indeed good for both physical and mental well-being.

This is my 4th or 5th visit. After soaking in the black hot spring and healing my body, I always have duck soba. It warms my heart and body, and fills my hunger. It's super delicious! Besides the duck soba, the fried chicken set meal is also amazing.

The raw shrimp tempura rice bowl and soba noodles at that restaurant were simply delicious.

All of the original menu items are delicious. The staff is also very friendly. The ginger on top of the cucumber can be purchased at the store. It feels like it can be used as a versatile sauce.

The restaurant at the hot spring resort was so delicious that I thought there couldn't be anything better. The fresh grapefruit soda was also perfect after the bath.
