ムーニー愛
This is my first time writing a review, but it's my second visit to this restaurant. By the way, this place used to be a Chinese restaurant before, and I've been there too. I came here this time because I was nearby for work. It's been about 3 or 4 years since they opened, which made me feel nostalgic. They have menus displayed outside, which is nice and easy to understand (although this led to a bit of confusion later on...). Just like before, the "value set" here is really worth it and delicious. I always decide on it before entering the restaurant.
Value Set: $10.80 to $12.80
Comes with appetizers, small dishes, and a beer - a golden pentagon deal! You can choose from 8 appetizers, like "green onion and char siu salad," and 6 small dishes, like "garlic chive and liver." When you pair it with a beer... mmm, it's perfect for drinking. The crispy texture of the green onions and the pungent flavor, combined with the char siu, make it a great snack with alcohol. The garlic chive and liver dish is a perfect combination of crunchy bean sprouts and flavorful liver. Both go well with beer and are delicious. I think it was really good. You might even want some rice to go with it (lol).
There was a sign outside saying "Value Set $9.80," but when the total bill is over $20, the price changes to $10.80, and if it's under $20, it's $12.80... I was a bit surprised when they told me the price at the counter. It's a bit misleading to have different prices like that. A $3 difference can change your impression, so it left me feeling a bit uneasy... However, as a local Chinese restaurant, it seems like a place I could occasionally visit. The taste was quite to my liking, so I was relieved!
