Tokyo Health Plaza Hygia on the 4th floor in Shinjuku Kabukicho. Located next to Tokyo Metropolitan Okubo Hospital, it houses offices and fitness facilities, attracting mainly a younger crowd. ・Full Cream Soda: 700 yen A cream soda made with blue Hawaii flavored jelly and yogurt flavored ice cream. By alternating between the two, it creates an image of clouds floating in a blue sky. Initially, you can enjoy the jelly, and once you've had your fill, you can pour the included blue Hawaii soda to enjoy it as a jelly-in-soda. It's more like jelly than soda, with the jelly portion being quite generous. I went to the Thirteen Cafe on the 4th floor of Heidi in search of this Instagrammable soda. The blue part is jelly, so you have to eat a little before pouring the soda. The ice cream is yogurt flavored, refreshing and delicious. Many people were ordering the other specialty here, the pudding. I saw someone post about the honey cheesecake and it looked so cute! I wish I had room in my stomach to try it.

Cafe located on the 4th floor of the Heidi Building in the back of the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower in Kabukicho. Despite being a bit quiet and off the beaten path, it was surprisingly crowded when I visited around 3:00 pm on a weekday.
- Full Cream Soda Blue Sky (Blue) (¥680): The ice was refreshing and yogurt-based, perfect for hot summer days. The jelly added a nice touch of sweetness, creating a good balance. Pour the blue soda over the creamy mixture for a lightly carbonated and easy-to-drink treat.

I went during the opening hours. I wanted to eat cheesecake, but ended up ordering a poke bowl that looked delicious. Both were tasty, so I want to go again! The customers and staff were calm and nice!

Visited on a Saturday around 11 am, and there were still seats available. Ordered the weekly lunch special, Chicken Nanban Soba (900 yen tax included), with carrot dressing for the salad. The set arrived in about 7-8 minutes. The soba was cooked just right, with a slightly sweet and flavorful dipping sauce. The portion was generous, and I left feeling satisfied after finishing the salad as well. I also had a post-meal coffee (140 yen), which was a nice touch. The cafe is popular among young women for its Instagram-worthy cream soda, but I saw customers of all ages and genders enjoying the casual atmosphere. You can find more detailed reviews and the menu on my blog at https://gokigenbiyori.com/ or by searching "Shinjuku Gourmet Gokigen" online.

I entered the restaurant around 11:30 on Saturday without having to wait. I ordered a blue cream soda and a honey cheesecake. The ice cream in the cream soda tasted like yogurt instead of vanilla like I expected. The blue part was jelly, and I had to add a little blue syrup to drink it. The cheesecake was very moist and had a good texture even though it was small. The bee-shaped candy on top was also cute.

Full Cream Soda Green (Melon) ¥680
No.13cafe is famous for its blue cream soda. This time, I chose the limited-time green melon cream soda. The ice cream with a red cherry on top and the sparkling green jelly inside the glass look so beautiful...!!
Yes, that's right. It looks like a cream soda, but it's actually jelly!! After eating the jelly inside, you pour the separate "soda" into the glass and it turns into a cream soda, creating a wonderful excitement that you can enjoy multiple times. The jelly is sweet, but when you pour the soda, it becomes just right and I like it haha.
The store was bustling, and there seemed to be enough seats for 1 or 2 people to easily find a spot.

A cafe on the 4th floor of Tokyo Health Plaza Hygeia in Kabukicho, Shinjuku. It's located near Okubo Hospital and Okubo Park, with Seibu Shinjuku Station being the closest station. I visited for the first time around 4 pm on a weekday. The cafe operates from 11:00 to 17:00 (last order at 16:30), so I just made it in time. There is a standing sign outside, but the entrance is tucked away in a corner making it hard to notice. Inside, it feels more like a cafe than a traditional coffee shop, with around 10 tables, most of which were occupied by young women. The menu is cafe-style, with coffee starting from 350 yen, which is quite reasonable. They also serve lunch from 11:30 to 13:00, offering a variety of Japanese and Western set meals, meat sauce, curry, etc. For cafe time, they have desserts like cakes and pudding. Most of the young women there were ordering the blue cream soda, which apparently looks like clouds floating in a blue sky and is very Instagrammable. Feeling like having pudding after my meal, I opted for the pudding set, which was 800 yen including coffee or tea. The iced coffee arrived in about 5 minutes. The pudding, served in a silver dish, looked firm and had a strong eggy flavor. The caramel sauce was slightly bitter, which I personally liked. The whipped cream on top added a nice balance to the sweetness of the caramel. They accept payment via PayPay. I'm curious about trying the full cream soda and honey cheesecake, so I'll definitely come back for tea another time.

I went to Heidi in Kabukicho, Shinjuku, which is famous for its blue cream soda. I thought there would be a long line on a Saturday afternoon, but surprisingly, I was able to get in without waiting. They also have a lunch menu, which I didn't know about. The dried fish set meal looked delicious! I had already eaten rice, so I was there for the cream soda. They had a pink version for spring, in addition to the blue one. The cherry blossom-colored cream soda had a jelly inside, and you pour the pink soda over it. It was cute and tasty! I went alone, so I could only have one, but having both the blue and pink ones would look great. Overall, it was a delightful experience!

More like jelly than soda? I could choose between mango and soda flavors! There's plenty of jelly, so it's quite filling! The Basque cheesecake was also delicious! The interior of the cafe isn't really Instagram-worthy, but the soda is cute and photogenic. #ThirteenCafe #BlueCreamSoda #ShinjukuCafe

Cream soda that makes you feel the blue sky is popular. By the way, I ordered pudding, honey cheesecake, and iced tea without ordering it. The pudding was firm. The honey cheesecake was delicious. We shared both, but the cheesecake was softer than I expected, making it difficult to share, and both were smaller than I thought. I couldn't help but think that the price was high for this size. It was hard to find because it was inside an office building, but it felt like a hidden gem. I went in the evening on a weekday, but it was full. The smell of dried fish was strong because they handle it.

No free Wi-Fi. Not too expensive for Shinjuku. Comfortable atmosphere. Good spacing between seats. I ordered a pudding and drink set for 800 yen. Good value for money! Next time, I want to try the cream soda.

Akoudai has become more expensive, with dried fish costing 1700 yen for size S. Seriously? Well, it's okay, I guess. It's pretty good but not worth dying for. It's a rare find in Shinjuku for a set meal, but I think I'll wait another six months before coming back. Although it's 1700 yen, it's not incredibly delicious.

I tried the vibrant cream soda I saw on Instagram at a restaurant with a number in its name. The glass was initially filled with blue jelly, and after eating the ice cream, I poured the soda provided on the side to create the cream soda. It was fun to drink it with a transparent tapioca straw, as the cream soda rose up like a blue sky. The lunch menu that ended at 3 o'clock also looked delicious.

No.13cafe located in the Health Plaza Hygeia 4F in front of Okubo Park in Shinjuku Ward is a cafe that caught my attention. I planned to try their signature Caroke, but unexpectedly they were closed for a 3-day holiday (normally closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays). So, I crossed the railway tracks from the west side of Shinjuku and went to Thirteen Cafe.
I entered the cafe at 11:15 on a Monday. The interior was messy, located inside an office building, making it a bit hard to find. Despite it being shortly after the opening time of 11:00, the place was almost full of young female customers. Everyone seemed to be enjoying the popular Full Cream Soda for its Instagrammable appeal.
I ordered the Egg Pudding for 450 yen and the Full Cream Soda in Blue Sky (blue) and Sunset (yellow/red) varieties starting from 650 yen. I chose the Blue Sky flavor. The dishes were served in about 3 minutes. The Egg Pudding was firm with plenty of caramel and a rich egg flavor. The Full Cream Soda had finely crushed jelly in the glass along with the ice cream on top. You could choose to eat the ice cream and jelly first, then pour the soda, or mix the jelly with the soda to create your own Cream Soda.
It was a delicious meal. During lunchtime, the cafe gets crowded with nearby office workers, so I recommend visiting before 12:00 or after 13:00. September 12, 2022.

I saw a cute photo on Instagram and decided to visit. The top part was yogurt ice cream and it was delicious. The bottom part was not cream soda but jelly, and you add soda to it. However, the yogurt ice cream flavor was too strong and there was too much jelly, so I couldn't finish it. The interior was nothing special, just like a regular cafe.

When I visited Shinjuku before, I stopped by this Thirteen Cafe, but it was closed on Sundays so I couldn't go. It's located inside an office building, so I wonder if the target customers are the people in this building? It's closed on Sundays, which is a shame. The interior is not as stylish as expected, more like a cafe in an office building. But this place seems to be popular, maybe because of the Full Cream Soda that looks so appealing? I couldn't resist and ended up going there. The Full Cream Soda costs 650 yen including tax. Wow, it's so cute! I've tried making this by hand before, and I learned that if you crush the jelly finely to make it granular, it's easier to create the cloud shape. This was helpful to know. What's interesting here is that it's not just jelly. You also get a separate glass of cider, so after eating the jelly, you can pour the cider into the glass and enjoy it as cream soda. It's nice that you can enjoy it twice. The colors for August were the blue sky that I ordered and the yellow bottom with red top sunset, two different kinds. It seems to change every month. I was also curious about their pudding, so I ordered it. The Egg Pudding costs 450 yen including tax, or 750 yen with coffee. It was a soft pudding with a traditional, gentle, rich flavor. It was delicious. They also have set meals, so it seems like a good place for lunch too! I finally got to go and I'm satisfied.

Cream soda (red and yellow evening sky) for 650 yen (tax included), Basque cheesecake for 650 yen (tax included), and a weekly lunch set with tofu sauce hamburger for 1,000 yen (tax included). I've always wanted to go to this café! I really wanted to try the cream soda! I couldn't decide between the blue sky or the red and yellow one, but since my favorite color is red, I went with the evening sky version (laughs). At first, it's just jelly, and then you add the red soda to drink it. So innovative! And the Basque cheesecake was also delicious! I also had the lunch, and the weekly set was so luxurious for only 1,000 yen! I definitely want to come back to this café!

【No.13cafe】・Full Cream Soda (Sunset) 650 yen・Full Cream Soda (Blue) 650 yen
Second post! This time I ordered the seasonal sunset color! The red tastes like strawberry! The yellow tastes like mango. The cloudy appearance is due to the jelly-like texture inside, similar to strawberry jelly from a candy store. The ice cream is refreshing and light like Calpis. The syrup is slightly carbonated and not too sweet. It seemed to be popular about 2 years ago, but there is still a line around 3 PM on Saturdays!? It was a bit less crowded around 2:30 PM.⏰ Business hours 11:00-17:00 (L.O. 16:30)✅ Closed on Sundays and holidaysLocated on the 4th floor of Tokyo Health Plaza Hygeia (15-20 minutes walk from Shinjuku)⚠️ It's located off the main street in Kabukicho, so be careful with the walking route. A hidden cafe in Shinjuku known for its full cream soda and chicken egg pudding. The weekly lunch specials are popular among office workers in the area. The dried fish lunch set is a must-try, featuring carefully selected dried fish directly from Atami. The fish is dried in the sun instead of using a drying machine to bring out the maximum flavor. The full cream soda is inspired by traditional Japanese jellied desserts. It includes blue Hawaii flavored jelly and yogurt ice cream layered in a glass, topped with ice cream and soda poured over it. The cafe also offers seasonal flavors, with mango being the current limited-time option. The pudding is limited to 60 servings per day and usually sells out by 3:30 pm, so early arrival is recommended.
